2901  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: How will Coinbases NFT platform affect the marketplace? on: October 29, 2021, 11:10:19 PM
Opensea still I guess. But there's also an NFT marketplace for Binance but I haven't visited its marketplace. As the usual, the first is the one that gets all the recognition and popularity.
I don't know if opensea is the first one but in the mind of the majority, it's the first one to lead the market of NFTs and being known in its own segment.
2902  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC reach $100,000 in December? on: October 29, 2021, 06:52:17 PM
Bitcoin at its current price at $60,555 is too far from its price prediction of $100k by december. With two more months left, i think bitcoin will find it hard to break through from its previous ATH because bitcoin has only maintained its price from $60k-$63k and then goes down again. Though bitcoin is very volatile and unpredictable, but if it could make a big leap from its present price, it could only be $70k-$80k as for this year's prediction. Having $100k will only be visible by next year with or without price correction.
We have seen a lot of times that bitcoin moved a lot within short range of time. But there's also fact in what you've said that it might not break $100k by the end of this year.
It doesn't matter whether it will or not, as long as I wish to see that it goes stable from $50k-$60k and it will no longer drop at that price because that price range is good as stable and comfort. Well, this is bitcoin that's highly volatile at most times.
2903  Economy / Economics / Re: What happened? on: October 29, 2021, 05:27:27 PM
@OP, you'll learn that the market is synchronized with bitcoin and taking it as your first investment is always the best idea ever. Just go along with the market and you'll learn a lot from it and don't stop asking question that confuses you to make you understand more about the market's volatility.
It's just your start upon asking what has happened and there are factors triggering the dips and pumps through good and bad news.
2904  Other / Off-topic / Re: Facebook Plan To Rebrand Name To Meta on: October 28, 2021, 11:15:48 PM
About their planned of rebranding, we didn't really expected them to that but about them going to meta, crypto and all of related to it, they've planned it long time ago.
I don't think that they've done that to just cover up themselves from criticism because it's just a rebranding. But I don't like a lot of things about Facebook but we'll see if the next plan they have about going with metaverse is going to benefit anybody but for sure, they'll be the ones that will benefit the most.
2905  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Good news through Mastercard. on: October 28, 2021, 10:17:48 PM
Good news, just like when we first heard about the news that Tesla accepting and buying bitcoin. Any big company that tells that they're adopting bitcoin, we're all celebrating because it's for the good of the market.
That's why when there's another big company that tells that they're adopting bitcoin, we're all going positive. Now, it's not just a company but there are also countries.
2906  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: ForkDelta: Fees of 0.035 ETH per transaction? on: October 28, 2021, 05:11:03 PM
Are you still thinking to trade there? I've also seen the best days of forkdelta and they're one of the known dexes before. But this time, it's likely that it's been dead totally.
Don't waste your time trading there because even a simple FAQ of its website is no longer working.
https://forkdelta.app/about/#faq
Remembered that they are the copied site of Etherdelta which is known to be a popular Dex wayback and transfer to Forkdelta
Dont know if they are still working but ive see several issues and comments about for it not to be working.
https://www.reddit.com/r/ForkDelta/comments/aetn5m/cannot_withdraw_funds_from_fork_delta_help/
https://www.reddit.com/r/ForkDelta/comments/d847u5/withdraw_and_deposit_on_fd_not_working/
I cant trust up on importing my keys on this one already. We already have some new dex around.
Yeah, better not import your keys/wallet there. It's no use, this website is totally dead if not, almost! Everyone has been warned with this and that's why if there's still some others who are interested to trade in here, you should be aware that it's almost dead.
There's a tendency that your fund might be lost.
2907  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Community means everything on: October 28, 2021, 03:24:48 PM
Community means everything in crypto space, there are many people who think that shiba coin won't enter top 10 on coinmarketcap well today we did it, now that we are in bull season I'm sure more surprises is coming, shiba is more than a meme coin do your own research before judging the project, Dogecoin that was loved by the community for few years now got flipped
Yeah, it's normal to think that some strange meme coin won't enter top 10. And there it goes, it's now part of the top 10 sitting at the top 9 spot. It's okay for people like me who have judged this coin. I don't have it and you guys have it, that's the prize that you have for believing on it and that's what matters to all of you. It's true that the community plays a lot for the growth of that coin but I don't think that Dogecoin was flipped by its own community.
2908  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: gambling addiction is getting real on: October 27, 2021, 11:56:37 PM
I know how its hard to have an addiction it's just a cringe feelings that has a strong urge for you to left what could be the way to become preoccupied or what you are doing and I can say it's just a matter of self control. It may be hard but if you just try harder it is worth it you just really need to divert your mind away from gambling and never ever visit a site or a places that reminds you to gamble because trust me, the urge is still there. You need to stay away from those places for a couple of months or more in order for you to stop your addiction.
He doesn't have to try harder, he has already said what he's planning to do and that's a good decision for him to make. He's already moved on and op did the right thing after losing this much.
It may not be as much as the others have lost but to many of us it's already big, well, he seems well and good with it and can recover this through trading so good luck to you op.
2909  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are some interesting ways you've introduced bitcoin to your friends? on: October 27, 2021, 10:55:00 PM
Before I want to introduce them to bitcoin, how do I profit from bitcoin? and have I had a better life in the market? . Will you become richer and more affluent than before? . and they will look at my change. One of them who asked me why he changed his life more than before could share with me about this and the conversation between me and my friend about bitcoin started. When I told them about bitcoin, they realized that by the time they discovered this lucrative market it was too late. Now they just regret and don't believe that what I suggested about old investments they didn't believe me now has brought me huge profits.
It is okay if they don't won't believing you. You're not going to force them into believing bitcoin, we've been seen in such situations and there's no need to convince them or introduce them if they're thinking like that. I'm done with that and through those backlashes from my friends and when the market is up, they are there for you and will ask as it seems they're truly interested. But not to me anymore, I wouldn't waste my time introducing it or telling or enticing them if I've already told it before.

2911  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogecoin - a joke or a way to make money? on: October 27, 2021, 03:19:02 PM
Everybody knows that Dogecoin was created as a joke, but now it is worth real money.
It's worth with real money because it's part of the market but being not in the market, it's just going to be the same as the others, as a joke coin.

Do you think it is real to earn on it or it's all a big bubble?
It's real to earn with it. You're seeing its value and people who have held it for a long time, they're likely millionaires now. Those who have sold at the peak.
2912  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🐺WOLF.BET - Advanced Dice Game 🎲 Sportsbook 🏟️ Slots 🎰 on: October 26, 2021, 11:34:51 PM
Actually there's no risk with the casinos who will have an exchanger. The risk only comes if they're the one who's going to have their own exchange inside their casino but many of the casinos that has their own exchange insides are just integration of a 3rd party service.
They just have to connect their customers with an exchanger which is the 3rd party and it will do the job for those customers that want to exchange their deposits.

I've seen a few casino and dice sites which have their in-built exchangers where you can directly exchange your coins to all types of coins that are available for withdrawal on those sites. But the catch, the fees were high compared to what you'd generally pay on an exchanger outside if you go there directly (this also applies to third party exchangers involved in the casino/dice sites because these sites also add up their commission plus the exchanger's fee).
Yeah, those casinos that have exchanger and asks for a huge fee per trade is likely a commissioner from an outside service. They're just going through and referring it to the service provider. That's lucky are those that have known an exchange with a low fee because it's part of their casino and they don't source out the exchange with an outside service.
2913  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Metaverse x Gambling on: October 26, 2021, 10:21:13 PM
I watched some polls on how do people think can NFT change the lives of everyone and was shocked to see that 75% selected that 'it is a bubble and will burst soon', while a very few people selected that 'it is a great discovery in the metaverse and can make huge changes to the world of digital art by using it in different jobs'.
It is normal to see a crowd thinking that a huge market that just gotten lately is a bubble. Just like in the past years of bitcoin, there were a lot of speculations that have said that it's bubble not until they see every cycle a new all time high.

Nobody understand the use of NFTs like they did with bitcoin in its early stage, now everybody is going fomo to buy it at such high values.
They'll realize that NFT is another thing that they can be crazy for just like bitcoin but not all of them are good to be bought. You have to be picky with the NFTs you invest even it involves gambling.
2914  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Proof that airdrops never work ... on: October 26, 2021, 08:59:45 PM
People are still thinking if airdrops are worth it since to them it's just free money and who knows if someday it'll become hundreds to thousands. The experience of others makes them optimistic about airdrops because they wouldn't know if it's going to click or not.
I don't waste my time in airdrops and they're just a couple of sent and what's worse is that they'll ask your identity for those pennies.
2915  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Selling ALGO for BTC or CAD on: October 26, 2021, 07:54:16 PM
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/algorand/markets/
Lists of exchanges where you can sell those Algo quickly for btc. If you find it hard to deal with someone, be safe on going with exchanges where you can buy and sell those coins easily.
Look also at the exchange you're about to use if they support withdrawals in CAD.
2916  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in Bitcoin only? on: October 26, 2021, 06:55:09 PM
What else do you invest in?  Huh
It is good to diversify portfolio so I am looking for inspiration

What do you think?
Is there something interesting coming?
It's okay if you'll invest into bitcoin only. But if you want to diversify, do not do that much because it's not looking good if you're too diversified. One altcoin that you can choose to diversify is with Ethereum. Most diversified portfolios are owning Ethereum and that's their next coin to invest with their money. Since you're asking where to invest, I guess you should stay first in bitcoin and learn at least with other altcoins within a few weeks to study about them.
2917  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: October 25, 2021, 10:22:18 PM
Yes, they believed they'd shatter the TS Magnus, but collapse is completely different, so they're still picking it, and the team trusted him with that hero. That's one of LGD's mistakes; they should've respect ban on Magnus, and I think it's a bad decision to display their awesome draft (lycan tiny) in the battle between team secret; perhaps team spirit already knows about this draft and is preparing for it. I checked Team Spirit's recent matches, notably in the Easter qualifiers, and they've managed to stay in the upper bracket, indicating that they're more than just a normal dota2 team.
They did become confident that they can beat Collapse's Magnus again. If I were their coach, I'll respect it and will ban it for the entire series. Although there really are heroes that can counter Magnus but it's still going to be different from most of the games if there's a comfort hero that has been banned. As I've read xinQs post in weibo since there's an issue that's rotating towards their coach, he said that even they'll ban Magnus, Team Spirit, all of them, have a large hero pool.
Have a large hero pool is always having that kind of advantage because opposing team will really be having that fucking hard time on which hero should be banned its true that if they do banned out Magnus

but still wont really be a guarantee that they would win up but i do agree that they should have banned it if they do based up on how this Collapse magnus did really play well and make other teams go home

then as a coach then i wont really be doubting on banning this one directly but well its their choice and its too late to whine now.
Collapse still has his Mars, but LGDs morale has suffered in recent games, and I believe that even if they don't use Magnus, they still have a chance to win. We can tell Team Spirit is quite confident in their matchup versus LGD. Yes, there's nothing we can do about it; they're world champions right now, and there's nothing we can do about it. Those who have bet on LGD and hoping them to be the TI10 champ make a huge loss right now because it's very unexpected.
In those weibo posts of the LGD members, they've said that Collapse and the rest of the Team Spirit has their many hero pools so that they couldn't just focused on the magnus ban. In twitter posts of Kpii and Chuan(former TI champ, IG), they have an easy counter to magnus and I think all of their minds are the same about the magnus ban. We as fans, think that it's going to be a respect ban that's best for them but on the minds of these experienced pro players, they have also a way to counter heroes and what made LGD lose at the game 5 was being tired and pressured.
2918  Economy / Economics / Re: Steam bans blockchain games on: October 25, 2021, 09:16:01 PM
steam made a good decision so that there are no more victims of p2e scams
Are you telling this in general so that Steam won't add those games that allows p2e on their platform? AFAIK, there's no scam P2E that has been there on Steam ever since the NFT of games has popped with the P2E's feature. And those people that are becoming a victim of p2e scams, they're the same as the victim of ICOs. They've been buying through hype and doesn't do that much research. There's a lot of p2e and they're not the only scams out there in the market and it's always the investors discretion to research before investing as their entry to p2e projects.
2919  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Hotbit exchange, is it safe and good to trade here? on: October 25, 2021, 10:47:17 AM
Just a piece of advice.
If you have a token listed there and you're wanting to sell, sell right away so that you won't be feeling that worry if it's good to trade there or not.
You'll always get to see the division of suggestion of telling you to stay away from that exchange and those that have good experience trading there.
2920  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: 20K FTM for USDT/BTC on: October 25, 2021, 08:34:49 AM
Why sell almost half of its price if it has a large volume in many exchanges?
Because he's looking for someone to scam. Notice how quick he is to redirect people to send him a PM

Current price of FTM = $2.77
OP wants to sell his at $1.01. Unbelievable!

Like the old saying goes, "If the deal is too good to be true, it's probably a scam"
Yeah likely.

Not saying this is not a scam attempt (maybe it is, maybe it isn't) but I don't think he means to sell at 1.01$ but at 1.01.

Like with 1% profit for the buyer.
He says that he's selling and it may doesn't have a $ sign but usually marketplaces are like that and he's selling one for 1.01. While the current market price of FTM is $2.97.
Who's someone going to sell at losses if he's free and easy to sell that in many exchanges where the actual marketplace occurs for this coin.
