no one knows who will be superior in pursuing a career, whether it is a main job or a side job, but what is more certain is that if one job is better in earning, the other job will be left behind. And most side jobs are easier and lighter to do.
and not all side jobs sacrifice a lot of time at this time like traders crypto and its kind or the media world like youtube and others

In simple terms what is meant by a side job or side business is, aiming to make money outside the main source of income to get additional income, for example you work at the post office, but you sell homemade cakes as a side job.
or some other side job that you can do or use with the skills you have to make money that can be done outside of your main job hours and manage your time well to keep things running smoothly and profitably.
All of that can be done early and you can use the results to invest without having to spend money from your main job, because the results are to meet your needs in one month.

Yes, I agree. Although side jobs require less time and sometimes less money, they are beneficial because most of our main jobs only pay our bills and allow us to buy food. My main job is really just enough for our daily needs and paying bills, which is why I am glad I have a side job where we can buy something or eat at a restaurant.
3782  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Update on my hardware store which accepts Bitcoin on: March 10, 2022, 06:32:44 PM
Hello all. It has been a while since I made a topic regarding my hardware store which has started accepting Bitcoin as a payment in September of 2021. It has now been 6 months and the business is going very well, but sadly not a lot of people decide to pay using Bitcoin. I often get people saying things like: "Isn't Bitcoin a huge scam or something?" or "Couldn't Bitcoin just drop to 1 cent?"...

It's sad to see that people still have those stupid stereotypes about Bitcoin. This honesty sucks because it gives a negative reputation to Bitcoin and my business.

However, I have made sure to inform people who used BTC to make a purchase about the BitcoinTalk Forum and how it is a good place to learn and read on the topic of cryptocurrencies in general.

We really encountered that one, but let's just pass it. Still, I was shocked about saying Bitcoin is a scam, because at that time, I would say here in our country, only the old ones really know Bitcoin. Usually, almost all of them heard about it and know what it is because it was already discussed on television. I think they really have a lack of awareness and knowledge of it. Just keep your payment method open in case someone wants to pay you for fun.
3783  Economy / Economics / Re: Ukrainians Embrace Bitcoin For Daily Purchases: Report on: March 10, 2022, 06:17:00 PM
First, there's no infrastructure in Ukraine to use Bitcoin for everyday things! Some stores and cafés have been accepting Bitcoin for years, sure, but during the war, the 'everyday use' is limited to two things: supermarkets and pharmacies. I've lived in Ukraine for most of my life, and I've never seen an option of paying in Bitcoin in places like that.

I am also from Ukraine, and I can say that now, in addition to what you said, there are no special opportunities to use bitcoin in everyday life, also because in many settlements there are problems with the Internet. They are not permanent, they are periodic, they are tried to be solved  as soon as possible, but they are presemt here. But even this is not such a problem compared to the fact that many people now simply do not have access to electricity, and simply can not charge devices that could later be used to pay somewhere with bitcoins. Of course, I am grateful for any help for us, but it is too early to say that Ukrainians embrace Bitcoin for daily purchases.

Just keep your chin up and hope that this will come to an end soon. Yes, it is extremely difficult to use bitcoin without a device and an internet connection, but I believe that if you travel to other countries, such as Poland, you will be able to charge your device and obtain electricity. However, I have heard that Ukrainian money is not accepted everywhere in the world. So, in essence, it was a block? Because it can be used anywhere, cryptography is extremely beneficial in terms of saving time. I believe that, unless you live in a first world country, not everyone will accept bitcoin for everyday purchases.

I don't know about NFT, but this trend for the metaverses looks like a collapse in my opinion - spring and summer are ahead. The pandemic is over and now most people will return to real life and the topic of the metaverses will recede to tenth roles in priority. It is difficult to say when they will become relevant again, but definitely not in the next year - people still have enough impressions from ordinary life that they have lost the habit of.

metaverses aren't built in 1 day, crypto itself is starting to get traction now after 10 years
give it time, it will come, but needs time to develop, have cheaper technology, etc...

Nope  Grin I often hear this argument about time and I do not agree with it (and even in relation to cryptocurrencies). If the technology is in demand, then it spreads very quickly and occupies its own niche, if not, then it doesn’t, and no time will help here. See how fast tiktok has spread. With VR/AR/Metaverse nothing like this is observed. I concluded that without serious (even revolutionary) technical breakthroughs, these technologies will not gain a large audience and remain in their narrow niches.

Yes, this has merit, but I do not believe it will take more than 10 years or so. The development of equipment, on the other hand, I believe will take time, but if we are talking about adaptability, I believe that people will adapt quickly to it. Nonetheless, the point is that it would take years to completely bug-free the metaverse, and they will continue to update and upgrade it on a regular basis. Because of technological advancements in recent years, it would be much more rapid than in the past.

Anonymous hacker's group fight against Russia

Russians are obviously passing through alot at this trying time as a result of it government invassion of Ukraine, this brings about the interference of one of the world's known hacker's group "anonymous" declaring waging war against Russia by hacking into their government official websites, Russian Tv channels releasing the footage of their invasion on Ukraine to the world.
Quote
Anonymous has also taken responsibility for several other cyber attacks, including shutting down the Kremlin’s official website, hacking the Ministry of Defence database and taking down 300+ Russian media and bank websites.
https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.standard.co.uk/insider/anonymous-hacker-group-russia-war-russian-tv-hacked-b986733.html%3famp

Considering the magnitude of the implication caused as a result of Putin engaging war against Ukraine, the Innocent Russians have suffered much in the areas of: sanction and swift ban placed, economy downsize, denied access to international freedom trade, inflation, devaluation of RUBBLE against USD, loss of military personnels, denied access to social media (Facebook and Twitter), ban of about 25,000 coinbase users accounts and pause in other crypto exchanges, shutdown in Kazakhstan bitcoin mining and crypto related activities, Mastercard, Visa and PayPal service shutdown, loss of innocent lives among others with the threat to also release one of it deadliest nuclear weapons.

When i watched this video of  Russian soldier surrenders to Ukrainian public who feed him and tears begin to drop from my eyes that why are we humans the cause of our problems? another report coming in says Russia will begin to loose hold to withstand starting from Sunday.

Must Russia (Putin) remain adamant in proving to the world its ability and last resort?

Its great and i love to see a group of people fighting a regime using the internet. However, it is scares me because Putin can still pull the trigger on nuclear war within minutes. And worst of all, everyone is affected. I just hope they dont start World War 3 while they are trying to help. I've always thought that they were just joke but in this case, Im hoping they can really do something about Putin.

Yeah, I believe it was just a show of solidarity, but the hacking activities are massive, and the one in which they hack into TV stations has the potential to make the Russian people aware of what is really going on in the country. Additionally, information that is extremely valuable to others is being exploited, resulting in a significant loss for Putin. We are still affected now, but if World War III broke out, it would be extremely difficult. However, as far as I can tell, other countries are not taking any action, and sanctions are the only thing that could have an impact on us. I'm not sure, but I could speculate that if the United States attempts to station war machines in Ukraine, that will be the time for World War 3.
3786  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Blame Game in gambling on: March 10, 2022, 12:27:46 PM
People now are aware of the technology and the internet so most of their parents now are leaving their children at an early age within their gadgets and by that, they can self-aware about the things on the internet such as gambling, the role of the parents must restrict their children and guide them because sometimes they don't know what's really doing of their child imagine at a very young age get addicted to the online gambling it's not suitable at the very young age. Better to help their child than blame each other because its about the mental health of the child.
Parenting these days needs to be extra vigilant compare to the traditional one, it's the time as well we've likely to have snowflake minded kids and can't even fathom a delayed gratification, they'd tantrum over silly things. We can't judge how they raise their child/Ren since we don't know ourselves what we will do in the future.

These internet age, you need to be techie as well and as far as I know there's a gadget to monitor every child and to filter out these bad actor apps and similar things like gambling. It's more like a filtering thing for what you can browse on a phone especially if it's for your child.
Childrens has a lot of access of everything over the net that's why its good for them to watch their child on what they are doing on internet because if they let them do whatever they want then provably this cases will still happen and worse their children will engage on illegal things at early age. Parents should explain and educate their child about huge risk and other things bothering in their mind because curiosity will always happen especially when children are misguided.
Parent was still the overseer of things and if they let slide even a thing or two it will just have snowball effect on children's future even if it's not that huge. Nowadays even if there's a good parenting if peers was more to influence a child, that wouldn't matter at all. It's more like the magnet of the bad influence by peers even if how good you are at parenting, so, it's best to not just educate them but you need to always check them everyday until they're fine to decide on their own.

Assuming that the parents discipline their children properly, I agree that this is important. If the parents do not discipline their children properly, the child will inevitably end up in a bad situation. Influence from bad friends is also a problem, and I understand that we can't prevent it, but we must talk to them about it and ensure that they listen to what we have to say. Because of this, we must inform them of the negative and positive aspects of their actions, as well as the consequences of their actions while they are still young.
3787  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is now a good time to be investing in Bitcoin? on: March 09, 2022, 06:26:16 PM
Today bitcoin is up more than 8%, of course many regret that they didn't buy yesterday when the price was still around $36, but I think if we buy immediately then there is still a chance to get a big profit because I believe the price of bitcoin will reach $50k in March.

Any time is the best time to purchase as long as you have the financial means to do so because we know that the value will increase in the future. However, if we think about it from the perspective of a trader, one who really requires technical knowledge is one who buys when the market is down. To answer this question, I would advise a newbie to do more research before purchasing a bitcoin because, first, if you are familiar with bitcoin, you will know when is the best time to buy it, and second, any time is a good time to buy or hold bitcoin. If this question was asked while the price was still at $600, I would say that if you bought at $600, you are now extremely wealthy; if you bought at $600, you are now extremely wealthy.
3788  Economy / Economics / Re: Your opinion on side jobs on: March 09, 2022, 02:26:14 PM
It can be said that no one only relies on 1 or 2 main jobs, a farmer can't just farm without knowing how to trade and market his crops, and the more expenses of course make us have to be active to look for other sources of income, sometimes side jobs can produce more than the main job.

What a lovely phrase. Yes, you are correct that farmers' primary job is to grow crops and sell them, but how do they make money on the side? While they are waiting, they could be hired to clean other crops as a side job to supplement their income and provide for their basic needs. Also, there are people who are sticking to their main job because it is more stable than a side job. Yes, some side jobs pay more, but we don't know how long they will last, which is why it is better to stick with the stable one for now.
3789  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Blame Game in gambling on: March 09, 2022, 02:23:28 PM
Let me also quote from this article that were posted.... “As the mental health charity Mind and others acknowledge, the reasons behind any suicide are ‘complex and can have lots of different causes’."

So, he might have had depression from other things that went wrong in his life and gambling was just one way to handle that. (Like people that turn to alcohol, when things go bad)

I can understand that the parents want to lash out at someone to shift the blame, but each individual case has it's own merit. How many old or lonely people gamble to stop them from going into depression? (They go to a casino to mingle and socialize with other people)  Wink

People turn to gambling, as an outlet for their depression, it's actually the depression that causes it, and the depression manifested more when the person started losing more and cannot keep up with losing they do not know how to address losing like when they do not know how to address depression, depression kills and gambling is not a place to release your depression, you will suffer more.

That's correct; addiction to drugs or alcohol is comparable. I have a friend who suffers from depression and uses alcoholic beverages and going to casinos to get drunk, he comes from a wealthy family so money is not a concern for him, he spends a lot of money on both, but after his parents noticed it, they took him to the doctor, who determined that he had an depression and that he should be taking medications,  During this difficult time, I believe that parents should be the first to lend a shoulder, and I agree that gambling is not the answer; in fact, it only serves to exacerbate the problem.

No place is ever safe in the world. Each country or state has its ups and downs. Who would ever believe that Ukraine will be hit by war upon her infrastructure and resources? This is why we should save up for rainy days by investing in crypto. Diversify your investment strategy. Don't save up your assets only by buying properties or in a bank.

Even before 2014, it was predicted that Russia would launch a military campaign against Ukraine. I agree that we should save for rainy days when they come, such as having enough money to last 6 months without a job, but the question now is whether you can still use the money at that time, such as investing your money in a bank, but when you are in a war zone, such as Ukraine, money is worthless, so it is best to invest in cryptocurrency because it can be used anywhere.
3791  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Disorder ? on: March 08, 2022, 04:43:11 PM
Do you think the laws needs improvement?
Do you think as the parents mentioned that Gambling industry has a *predatory* stance, is true?

I guess there's nothing to improve, gambling addiction is the fault of the gamblers, it's not the operators. If they allow the liquor producer and people get addicted to liquor, would that mean the production should be stopped? of course NO!

If the number of cases in a particular place or country that's the time that the government might take an action but if just a few counts or does not trigger the whole community itself there's no need for the government presence instead the relatives or any people on that environment of the person is the responsible to make sure their companion are still in a good health or not already addicted.

I believe there is, and that people are aware of it as well. According to what I've heard from other countries about gambling addiction, most people who are diagnosed with it will be prescribed medication, which will be provided by private doctors and will cost you money. I'm not sure if the government will be providing assistance, as I haven't heard of them providing assistance for this type of need. Those who are in desperate need of help will usually seek treatment from mental health professionals. Hoping for some kind of clarification from the government on this policy, as well as any kind of assistance for those who require medication attention due to addiction.
3792  Economy / Economics / Re: Your opinion on side jobs on: March 08, 2022, 03:02:36 PM
Side job become main job is possible but some people will prefer two income, to be earning more from side job, then side job will become the main job. I can not blame people that will later see the former main job as nothing and leave because it is not bringing much profit and side job will become main job.

What is the meaning of career job when there is no much profit, anything that man does that makes him the king is his career job, only children will not think like that. I remember when I was young, I want a career for myself, I got something related to it but no job, I see another job not related to my career, that was the end of my former career ambition.

Some people need to supplement their income by moonlighting (working in the evenings) in order to keep a roof over their heads. They work two jobs to feed their family and educate their children. Their 'day job' income is simply insufficient. Others are entrepreneurial, attempting to establish online or other part-time businesses in order to challenge themselves while also supplementing their income. They work from home in the evenings or on weekends to expand their business. Others prefer a 'passive income,' such as buying an apartment and renting it out on a regular basis. This means that they don't have to do much, it's just a steady source of income for them.
3793  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Women's Day Wishes to all Women Bitcoiners on: March 08, 2022, 01:14:15 PM
Wishing you all a happy International Women's Day! I have a few female friends on the internet who are also investing in cryptocurrency, and I can say that these women are extremely intelligent and can act quickly, just like men. They are also not afraid of investing and taking risks. Also, I am grateful that my mentor was a woman when I was first starting out, as she has been extremely patient with me while also providing me with advice and, on occasion, financial assistance, which I greatly appreciate. We should celebrate and express our gratitude to them; a simple gift of money in cryptocurrency is extremely beneficial to them.
3794  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you know when to sell? on: March 07, 2022, 06:08:27 PM
Can you share your opinion
Holding goal is to expect to be able to sell on ATH but long term holders can rarely can reach full confidence level in new altcoins except in the top 10 coins, actually no cycle has an exact accuracy pattern for perfect profit, I apply a simple pattern when the market increases as an opportunity to earn +50% profit from holding altcoins and reanalyze the same altcoins when the price dips for a second profit opportunity.

Yeah, having a target profit per trade is really great. Usually, the problem with new traders is that they are trading with the expectation of making huge  money from one trade, which causes them to lose. They are up like 100 percent and still not satisfied, so the market bounces back and they lose. Implement that type of strategy and set a reasonable profit target as well as a stop loss so that you do not lose all of your money and learn to control your emotions
3795  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: EBAY might accept BITCOIN on: March 07, 2022, 12:33:32 PM
If Ebay makes Bitcoin as a payment methon, how the hell they are gonna monitor and perform refunds? And isnt all that contradicts the idea of Bitcoin and anonymity? I am for such option, that will increase number of scam on the internet. And we all are for it, just because we have Bitcoin. If we did not know about it, we would not care much about it Cheesy

You can still get your money back. However, unlike PayPal or credit cards, which can only be refunded by the banks, this is not the case. Although the person who received the money should be able to refund it, and we could create a system to do so if we wanted to, we can clearly see that they have already received it because of the transaction hash, and this isn't a major issue. The fees and how to deal with the violations are the main issues, as they are the primary reason why merchants are experiencing difficulties accepting bitcoin as a payment method.
3796  Economy / Gambling / Re: Vulnerabilities in gambling websites in past on: March 07, 2022, 04:22:28 AM
Is it still a vulnerability to take advantage of free money, such as a signup bonus? Create a large number of accounts in order to receive the signing up bonus and transfer it to your wallet, for example. In my opinion, it has long been known that a gambler will open a large number of accounts and deposit the money into a single wallet in order to amass a large sum of cash. However, this is only valid in the past, as the majority of signup bonuses are now locked and cannot be withdrawn from the site.
3797  Economy / Gambling / Re: What's the new big Cryptocasino to use for a UK player on: March 06, 2022, 01:35:06 PM
Hi Guys,
I used to use Stake.com Allot, but this a while ago, wonder if there's any good competitors for a UK player using a VPN. Haven't gambled in a while and want to use a new site!
Any new good competitors? I also have a swedish passport so i managed to do one of the KYC's for Stake and it was never an issue.
Thanks!!!

If you are planning on to use a VPN to use a gambling site then be prepares to get your funds frozen on the gambling site.
Make sure you read the terms and conditions of the site before you register on it and find out if the site asks for KYC.
At some point of time if they started asking KYC then you will either have to complete KYC or your funds might be as well be frozen.
Even then if you want to go ahead then gamble with only an amount that you can afford to lose.

I agree with this and believe that it is best not to use any type of software to change your IP address because doing so could result in you being banned and unable to receive your money. Try to find a website that is not blocked by your internet service provider, as most of the online gambling websites that I am aware of are VPN-enabled, and you should avoid breaking the law. Another point to note about KYC is that, provided you have a valid photo ID, you are good to go. I'm not sure why people are using virtual private networks (VPNs) when accessing gambling websites, but doing so will only get you into trouble.
3798  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How I Missed Out of a 10 Year Bitcoin Investment Plan on: March 06, 2022, 01:03:42 PM
Many regret always happen in this world, many people also regret why not investing in Bitcoin when the price was very low and undervalue?
The answer is:
the trust.
Because at that time, who knows that Bitcoin will be as big as now?
Who knows that Bitcoin will be accepted by many more people?
And who knows that Bitcoin price will rise up as high as right now?
Additionally, $1000 at that time may value bigger than $1000 right now. The time go on. And even at that time, we may invest and in fact, the rice was going down more than at that time, what will happen? We will regret it again, won't we?
That is why there is no need to regret what has been passed in the past. Moreover with many calculation that we should get if we invest at that time, it will multiple the bigger regret.
Just use the past as the expericne and lessons. Now, the rigth chocie is what to do right now Not to calculate what should ahppen to us because of the past, but what we can do for us for our present and future

Well everyone here has regrets about their past bitcoin investment decisions. No doubt about that. Everyone laughs at the pizza guy who could have been a multimillionaire if he didnt trade his coins for a pizza but to be honest, I sold my bitcoin back then to buy a nice new camera. Which would be work 400k in todays money. Makes me a bit sad thinking about it but back then I did not really understand Bitcoin and had no idea it would go from 90 bucks to 60k. Roll Eyes

Yeah, even before bitcoin was worth $600, I was giggling at the thought of someone purchasing a pizza with bitcoin, but at the time, it seemed incredible because no one could ever do something like that, and you couldn't imagine purchasing something with digital currency. I believe this is the reason why bitcoin's price has skyrocketed, as well as the reason for the current price. I believe that the majority of us were here about 5 years ago and have regrets because if we had held on to it until now, I could say that I am a millionaire right now, but we should not make the same mistake again.
3799  Economy / Economics / Re: Your opinion on side jobs on: March 06, 2022, 12:19:40 PM
General opinion is that a side job is one that supports the main income of an individual, often times perceived as something that brings little money to add to what you make from your day job. If Mr X earns better from a side job when compared to the income from his career option, does the side job still qualify to be called a side job?

Most side jobs are temporary employment that aren't totally dependable; they frequently provide benefits to supplement the main or full-time work, which is always supportive since the full-time job's income is never enough to keep you afloat.
Side jobs usually provide additional money, making saving possible and simple; consequently, having a side job that pays more than the full-time work is a great idea.

I agree with this because it is what I am doing right now in addition to my fulltime job, which is really not enough, but I have seen a lot of people who have found that their side jobs are bringing in more money, and as a result, they have decided to quit their fulltime jobs and devote their time fulltime to their side jobs, a good example of this is running a business, which is why you have a full time job and a side job. I have a lot of friends who quit their jobs to devote their time and energy to their businesses, and they have become extremely successful as a result.
3800  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't lock your tokens away on: March 05, 2022, 12:21:55 PM
In my opinion, every cryptocurrency is a high risk, so be prepared to lose. Look for one with fundamentals so you don't have to worry about exchange pricing or market swings. Holding is for trading, even if it doesn't always feel like it. When the crypto market is flourishing, the profit potential is unfathomable. However, if you want to put an end to your emotional roller coaster, return and buy more at cheap prices and sell high.

Accept this and also invest only what you can afford to lose because, in the world of cryptocurrency, anything can happen. We don't know if the coin will drop massively in value or if you will make a profit, but you should be prepared for anything. Emotions are a major issue when it comes to cryptocurrency investing, as you are likely to experience them if you are losing money. However, with time, you will be able to overcome them. On the other hand, you should double-check the channels, pages, or any other line of communication of the coin in which you are investing so that you are fully aware of what you are getting yourself involved in.
