Hi all, what do you think of emcash. Dubai's very own cryptocurrency. will it be a new emerging coin in the market? Will ICOs companies start to accept emcash?
I find it interesting yesterday when I was reading the press-release. But we will need to wait for more detailed specification and what exactly role Dubai will have in it. If the government tries to control it somehow, I don't think ICOs will accept it. As nobody is wanting government control in his project. |

It's interesting concept. But for me it will not work in next few years, because average CC users are far away from the point of becoming average crypto-users. Yes, I was thinking the same. Because most of the coins could be easily manipulated with small-mid amount of money.
Reentry I was trading on 2 ICOs and cannot other explanation of courses expept manipulation.
The first is OPT where the price starts increasing when bounty hunters dropped over half of their coins?! And before that was to incredibly low.
The second one is TFL which is one of the few projects with a real working product but the prices are 2-4 under the ICO.

What is more safe to save coins? I don't know if is online platform better then exchange? I have some Waves and some ETH. Waves has online Chrome add-on which is similar with saving Waves on exchange.

Wallets of course! never hold on exchanges more than you can afford to lose. Just check how many exchanges are gone in past few years. Disappearing with user funds or user funds 'being hacked'... |

The whole crypto-currencies volume is down during the holidays, not only ICOs.
Time to avoid having crowdsale - Mid November till the End of January. Because people will save their money for Black Friday and Christmas and January is worst month of the year from financing point. Wait for the Feb salaries.

Just to clarify some points that have been made here:
1). Your browser is mining monero and we are auto-converting it into bitcoin at the current prices
2). We are giving 100% of what we make back to users, we are taking a 0% cut.
3). The mining is completely optional, we are not running the miner automatically or forcing anyone to use it. If you feel it is profitable for you, then use it. If not, then don't.
If there is enough interest, I might try to reverse-engineer the miner so that we can keep 100% of the revenue and share all of it with the users. We do not expect to make any profit for this, it's only an additional revenue stream for faucet users.
This is one very interesting initiative. Do you collect some stats for actual revenue over 24h period for example? Few days ago I read about coin named JScoin for browser mining. You may want to take a look. |
