1.  Completely open book accounts on the premine.  If I had 1 LOT for each time I've said it I'd probably have 25% of the premine.

PAYMENTS MADE TO DATE:
Giveaways 68,000,000
payments to 3rd partys (includes dev support and marketing) 110,000,000
Bounties 40,000,000
Development team 50,000,000 x 3 = 150,000,000
Jdebunt & Sergios articles & press releases = 8,000,000
-----------------------------------------------------
total used: 368,000,000

It's right there.... Smiley first post Smiley the premine is 2% which is 368 million LOT and it's all accounted for Smiley

You call that open book??  Cheesy

Where are the addresses, amounts, dates?   You know, basic accounting stuff.

Those figures could be completely made up for all anyone knows.  Excel sheet or similar ledger that can be verified by looking at the blockchain is open book accounting.
List of the third parties that total the 110M for example - who, how much and what for.

That is not open book and you know it.  There are only two possible reasons why the dev team are not prepared to provide a full ledger including addresses, dates and amounts.  Either they have not kept track of this premine properly, which would be totally unprofessional, or the above figures are untrue and hide something which would be viewed negatively.

Again, if the "dev team" and people like Hampuz etc want the coin taken seriously by the mass market, then treat it seriously.

PS. we keep hearing about the "dev team", but only ever know of one person.  I have my suspicions that there is only one dev, but has made up another two team members to make the 150M kept for the "dev team" seem more reasonable.  Open book, wallet addresses and dates of transactions for where the premine is, or I (and everyone else who has issues with premines) will call BS on it.

Offer is still open from me for 25% of the premine.

For those wanting ideas that will separate LOT from the crowd.

1.  Completely open book accounts on the premine.  If I had 1 LOT for each time I've said it I'd probably have 25% of the premine.

If the people who truly support this coin want it to be different, it needs to be different!

Even the guy who was paid to market this coin that is now involved in his own coin, has done open book on premine, and hopefully will show details of all transactions involving the premine coins.

Now.  That's not a fun post, its not being negative, its an honest view and serious suggestion.  If this wants to break free from being considered another "scam" coin with premine ready to dump, then this information needs making public.

and i have stated that we need some kinda "mouth" for the dev team...

Quite happy to do that job for just 25% of the premine.  Special offer.  Next weeks price 30%.

lol... would i get an open book on your stake?

Yep.  I'd expect some form of timeframe that I'd be expected to be the "mouth" for, and set of expected actions/duties.  If the coin wants to be taken seriously, then run the premine accounts seriously.

<snip - lots of valid points regarding LOT>

Agree with the points raised.  You will however get called out on spreading FUD, being a troll and be met with other such comments.   There is no desire what so ever to enter into rational conversation and methods of addressing the extremely valid points you have raised.  Anything suggesting that the current course of action (or inaction) taken by the devs and the team is not correct, will be met by nothing but denial and utter hostility.

I'll guess a dump of the remaining premine at some near point and a walking away.  Given the level of involvement thus far from the people holding the purse strings to the premine, would that actually surprise anyone?

That open book never did arrive did it...   So we can only guess as to whats happeneing/happened with the hundreds of million LOT left over.

We have posters above identifying the millions of cheap coins floating around as a point keeping LOTs value low - but completely and utterly ignore the 360,000,000 premined coins that are floating around that have a zero value attached.

What good will raising difficulty do?
The miners will receive less coins and will have to sell it for a higher price.

Less coins at higher price = same profit.   Only benefits those that were in early and held.  Will do nothing to break free from the multipools what so ever, as they are only interested in the net profit.  1 coin at $1000 is just the same as 1000 coins at 1$.  Difficulty/coin numbers will be utterly meaningless to a multipool thats playing whack-a-mole based on the profit values.

Quote
What pays the electricity bills if they dont sell the coins?  Good will and pictures of spiders?
They don't have to sell it this low.

They do if they want to get money to pay the electricity bills.  They could put sell orders in for 200 satoshi, but when the electricity bill lands at the end of the month, all they will have is a big bill and an open order on cryptsy.  Multipools are hardly going to hold onto the coins and trade them in the future when the miners want paying now.

Quote
If it was worth 10x as much, it would sell for ten times as much.  A coin is worth what people are willing to pay for it.
No, there are too many coins out @ a low price. That's because of the big miners autoselling.

Yep, auto pools will do what they have always done.  What would happen if the value worked its way back up to where some players bought millions at 30/40 satoshi.  A number of them would dump and thank their lucky stars they got back to a decent exit point.  For every seller, there has to be a buyer.  If there were enough buyers thinking that this coin was going to go up by 10-100x then they would be soaking up every sell order on cryptsy.  So either the buyers have had their fill and dont feel confident enough to soak up all the sell orders, or they think the price is about right where it is.

Quote
Why?   Why is LOT so different to all the others?
Because there are many that believe in this coin, there are good casinos and will come even better ones. A lot of people are dedicated about this coin, helping it to evolve.

But I can understand if you don't get it. It wouldn't be such a big surprise at least.

If there were that many that believed in the coin and honestly thought with any degree of certainty that it was going to go up 10x in value, they would have bought every coin for sale.  If there was a 100% guarantee that this was going to go up 10x in value, I would buy every single lot for sale on coined up right up to 100 satoshi orders.  But there is no guarantee, and the number of people with that level of confidence dictates the current value.

If more people have confidence that the value will be going up, then the sell orders will get eaten.  Current appetite dictates current price.

<snip pool paying methods explained>

Helpful?

Very helpful indeed!  Im sure myself and other relatively new miners appreciate the explanation.  Smiley

I run my miners on windows, as I have about zero experience with linux and when I did get it installed, I couldn't figure out how to get mining software running on it, so gave up.  Installed windows and was up and running in half an hour.

Must spend some more time playing with linux to figure it out, but spare time is not something I have a lot of.   Still, if I build any more rigs, then I wont be paying for a windows license on each one, as Ive run out - so Ill have to get linux working.

Hey guys an gals.... Just a quick post to explain the significance of the blocks page...

<snip>

Extremely useful information, thanks for this.  I had assumed that was what the figures represented, but did not know for certain.

This sort of information is extremely useful to new miners.  Also important not to look at individual blocks, but take an average overall.  At least then you can see that you are getting a good, fair and stable return for your hash power.

Next up, what the heck does PPLNS and other ways of splitting up the shares/blocks mean? Smiley

I think the difficulty should raise right now!

What good will raising difficulty do?

2 months could be too much, you miners are killing the coin. It has a huge potential, why the fuck are you dumping SO LOW??

What pays the electricity bills if they dont sell the coins?  Good will and pictures of spiders?

Its value is worth 10x at least, but if you keep on flooding the market it wont survive enough to see difficult increase.

If it was worth 10x as much, it would sell for ten times as much.  A coin is worth what people are willing to pay for it.

And we must pray there wont be another bitcoin crash, otherwise it will die instantly

There are coins that have riden out the previous 50% drop on bitcoin and are still around today.  Why didn't they die?

LOT is really one of the few alts that has the potential to survive, while 90% will disappear in 2014

Why?   Why is LOT so different to all the others?
392  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] microCoin MRC - Scrypt-Jane - nFactor - BOUNTIES - Released! on: January 15, 2014, 11:21:09 AM
This coin should stand out from the crowd of ALTS released recently.

No premine, fair startup and allows others to join after day one and still get a fair portion.   No instamine coins waiting to be dumped as and when exchanges pick it up.

IMHO, this is one of the fairest launches of a coin in recent times.

What we need is people offering up logos, promotions and other associated uses.  As there is no instamine, and it is still very easy to get a fair share of these coins, I would hope that somebody with the skills or contacts to help out on the logo front could step up for the coin here and provide something.

I shall PM other contacts and advise about this coin.  Im very hopeful that this coin and its release gets to be seen for what it is.

Thought that the 280 may be right after adjust.  Can't get above 1.8 per core on the 7990's though.  Really annoying.

Tried shaders, addressing just one GPU, two gpus's on same card. Workload, intensity, GPU tune,  can't find anything that works. Huh
394  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] microCoin MRC - Scrypt-Jane - nFactor - BOUNTIES - Released! on: January 14, 2014, 10:12:55 PM
Have tried various settings to get a pair of 7990's working with this miner.  Best I can get is about 1.8m/hash out of each GPU (3.6m/hash per 7990).  Should be getting near 9m/hash per card but can't get anywhere near.

280x not a real problem, but again lower than others have with about 4.5 m/hash per 280x.  Should be closer to 6 m/hash according to some posts.

Any tips?

Windows 7 os btw.

I never told anyone to ignore you, you are the master of quotes so why dont you go back to the post I have said that?

This any good for you?

Don't mind the obvious trolls, most of them just sold low hoping they could buy back lower, but then it turns out they just lot several bitcoins because of their ego's.  You will soon learn who they are and can press the "Ignore" buttons accordingly.

I agree with C3ALL with almost all the things he says. Although I really wanted LOT to succeed. And I still do.

Weird thing is even with an incredible low price coinwarz shows it is still the MOST PROFITABLE altcoin to mine.

I just cant figure out how/why?

Because all ALTS have been battered down over the recent weeks.  Many more miners coming along, so difficulty up or price down across the board.  approaching 50% reduction in value over the past 4 weeks or so.
397  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] LOTTO COIN - The coin thats a game! Released 12/12/13 on: January 13, 2014, 05:01:52 PM
I never told anybody to do anything. Wether it was buying in or ignoring you. Never.

Really?

You never told people to get on it before its too late?
You never told people to learn who the trolls are and click ignore?

Feel free to go back to page 158, look at the chart I posted and look at the responses I got.  Yep.  I obviously didn't have a clue...  Roll Eyes

My purpose for posting here?  Simple.  To get people to take absolutely no notice of your blatant baseless ramping.  y3804 obviously got caught up in the hype and rubbish being spouted by yourself and the dev, and is now sitting on a great big loss.  There will be others too.

Boomerjackson is pretty much just the same.  Some of his posts are just ridiculous.  Like the hired thug going round posting garbage about anyone who even dare question the profitability of LOT.  Most probably sitting on a big loss and would like nothing but pumps being written about this coin just so he can reach his exit point.  Me - Im autoselling.  Got out nearly all mine long before it hit these values.

You believe in the long term value of LOT because you have no choice now you are sat on a bunch of coins that you were, in your own words, wishing would be worth 200 satoshi.
398  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] LOTTO COIN - The coin thats a game! Released 12/12/13 on: January 13, 2014, 04:23:07 PM
Im Hampuz, not mrlotto.

So by saying that we were added at cryptsy and the price spiked a bit, that was pumping?

Yes,  you said "Increased price a bit but will surely only go up from here."

By saying that the diff is low so MINERS should jump on, that is pumping?

Yes,  it was posted when difficulty was at or above todays level.

And by making a childish bet when i just had wishes that it would be that price, that is me pumping?

So when it doesn't come true its a childish bet, based on nothing but "wishes".  In that case, yes - its pumping.

Please do tell me more, you have so much experience in this, oh wait, you dont.

So shut your mouth?  You have no clue what you are talking about, but whatever, i'll stop caring about your comments from here.  See you on the other side.

Cheers!

To quote one of the insults thrown at me, are you just "butthurt" that your posts have been shown to be the pumping that they are, and people are actually starting to see that what I posted was true?

Maybe they are a little bit angry that they followed your posts telling them to ignore me as I was just a troll - but actually if they had followed my advice, could probably have saved themselves from a large loss.

Not much meat on the sell orders at 16 and 17 now.  plus back to the top on coin warz, expect price back up to 18 shortly.  Get em' while they're hot...

Did the price go back up to 18?

Yes.  It did.

Actually it dropped all the way to 12. It only went back to 18 days later. But that wasn't my point anyway.

What was your point?

Did I miss the bit where we had a stable price of 200?  Or perhaps where there was only upward movement from the price of 40?

My point is, that those ramping the coin are accusing myself (and others now) of being complete trolls when we were speaking the truth.
