After reading this thread and tracking the roi trend in the last 7 days its pretty obvious that resellers are going to start dumping their stock soon. Take a quick look at the altcoin market place ppl are dumping their D3s (every 2nd 3rd post is a WTS Oct, Nov batch D3). Some even in hand selling for 1 BTC. Looking at bitmains website the D3 was available to order for hours and no one touched it and it didn't sell out. At time of writing this you can still order one from Bitmain for 1450 USD Nov batch. https://shop.bitmain.com/main.htm?lang=en Lessons I learned from this is never ever pay or trust a large reseller like Cryptocrane et al. and just because they have HUGE stock doesn't mean they wont fleece you like sheep. I called out Cryptocrane (CC) on the bitsonline.com website ( https://bitsonline.com/antminer-d3-first-look-review/) for scalping people shamelessly and its apparent now that they are crapping their pants and offering a 15% discount on their D3 that are in hand (10,000 > 8,500). Ross or whoever deleted their post on bitsonline but the jist of it was that the commenters called them out for scalping. Funny part is that CC thought that at 10,000$ these would still be profitable.  I'd bet a D3 that you wont get your 10,000 back before the warranty on these things run out. I hope they get stuck with them and a D3++ launches in a next month or so and unscrupulous reseller and scalpers are left holding an ASIC that isnt worth the materials its made of anymore. Im not against cloud sigma and other resellers who have reasonable markups and offer value added services like hosting. Just these greedy af reseller like CC who want unrealistically expensive prices for their miners (6 to 7 times the amount for their D3).I hope their stocks sell at a loss so that they learn to leave some of others and learn to share. When I tried to give CC feedback that they were charging too much they didnt even respond and deleted their posts. Good to know we can put a face to these greedy people now through their videos. What they do aint illegal but its the kinda shit you hear about and shake your head.  I am not trying to defend Cryptocrane or any reseller out there. imho, they just a merchant that try to sell high because of higher demand, i dont think they rope the stock from bitmain, its fair and square in process to order from bitmain sales page. They arent charity foundation, they are merchant and since the ancient time, that how its do work, buy cheap and sell with as much profit as they can get as long as demand still there. Its about demand, its about some greed people that think they can make fast and huge profit from buying and operating D3 asap, even with double or triple original price. Or i can simple said that greed merchant meet greed buyer make the price unreasonable. Now, some people come to their sanity and wont buy at the price, and start to yelling how expensive the price, for what? to let others know its unreasonable price or to HOPE the reseller will lower their price or event curse them to be loss in investment. If i am in reseller position, i will do the same, i will buy as much as my business calculation allow it and i will sell as high as people WANT TO BUY it If i dont buy, some people will do, and some people will do as i do. If you want to blame, maybe bitmain should take the responbility to the UNFAIR distribution, buy HEY.. bitmain is merchant too. |

I'd advise you stop using multibit and start using electrum instead. As multibit is no longer being developed on as the developers gave up on it so it is no longer reieving any fixes. Thanks for advise. Its just an old account and no longer use wallet. I like use it several years ago, when "light" wallet still not many. |

I've written some python scripts that were meant for MultiBit HD that also creates bitcoinj wallets in protobuf format... It didn't extract the keys and just dumped out the raw protobuf. What was interesting to note was that the 12 word HD seed is actually available in plaintext in the dumped out data! So, I fired up gurnec's: decrypt_bitcoinj_seed and sure enough, it output the recovery seed! You can then put the recovery seed into an offline copy of: https://iancoleman.github.io/bip39/There are instructions at the bottom of the page for downloading etc Put the seed into the "BIP39 Mnemonic" section at the top. Then click "BIP32" under Derivation Path, set "Client" to "Custom Derivation Path" and set the "BIP32 Derivation Path" to: m/0'/0  All your addresses/keys will be displayed at the bottom.  NOTE: You may need to click "show more" to see all your addresses if you have used more than 20 receive addresses... and you'll also need to set the "BIP32 Derivation Path" to: m/0'/1 to get access to your change addresses!  I use multibit to take the private key but this one is also good |

Why don't you flash your SD card with latest Minera image ( https://getminera.com/download/latest) instead trying to manual install it? What command do you use to manual install it? It requires "sudo". yes, its done by flashing using Etcher. Using Win32DiskImager killed my other SD yes, installation is smooth, as per Instruction on Minera webpage. Of course using SUDO, else the installation will fail Now i stuck. Trying to login using LAN (Wifi also same issue) at the URL: http://192.168.0.11/minera/ , it failed. IP scanning shows correct IP of the Pi. Tried searching the net, no go. If you flashed the SD Card with the Minera image you DON'T need to install anything else. Just connect to the RPI IP. f you can't connect we need more info. i tested 3 SDcards today 1.One download image direct from Minera 2. One installed 2017-09-07-raspbian-stretch, then followed the step by step guide on Minera website 3. One installed Noobs, internet working fine. No error. Youtube is smooth [to ensure that Raspberry Pi3 is good] Both SD (1,2) gave me same error. Unable to connect  I have same problem, the problem is the IP shown in monitor is not totally correct. I use ip scanner to find the correct one (yes, my router use DHCP) |

anyone has issue with alerts on android? yesterday and today i set up 6-7 alerts but after the price target has been reached only one yesterday worked and after a delay of 4-5 minutes, i don't know what do to i use the app only for this...

Seperti jawaban @bahlulfahrul, para miner bertugas membentuk block baru dalam jaringan blockchain dan setiap transaksi ditempatkan dalam block baru yang dibentuk/ditemukan oleh miner. Jadi jelas no miner, no new block, no new transaction. Transaksi yang sudah ditempatkan dalam block berarti sudah terkonfirmasi, namun dengan semakin meningkatnya transaksi dan terbatasnya block yang digenerate, maka transaksi cenderung menumpuk dan menunggu ditempatkan, itu yang menyebabkan konfirmasi lama dan salah satu alasan munculnya bitcoincash (BCH) Miner tidak akan mati selama komunitas masih ada, walaupun mungkin nilai ekonomi nya nyaris nol seperti awal-awal munculnya bitcoin. Its about passion of crypto as currency. apakah ada kemungkinan Bitcoin POS. Bukankah jika mengadopsi POS meskipun tanpa miner transaksi masih bisa di lakukan, koreksi jika salah  Untuk saat ini belum ada wacana untuk menggunakan POS, dan pure POS sangat beresiko.
