I don't know what you mean by gas (but that's exactly how ignorant I was).. I guess you meant the transaction fees? Currently, the mempool fees are high and your txn fees were set at 2.62 sat/Vbyte which is way too small to get the transaction confirmed even in 2 days... (unless the fee drops down).. You also did a huge mistake by creating another separate transaction(That wasn't CPFP), hoping to push the first one through... Are there anyway to cancel or boost gas or whatever way to get those btc please?
CANCEL? Trying to cancel any transaction means creating ANOTHER transaction, which again makes the whole thing messy...as for boosting, it depends on the wallet you're transferring from/to. Definitely... It's gotta be everyone. I tried searching and I had the same result, so I had to let it be,(not until I stumbled on this post). The last time the search function was down, the admin said something about the index being rebuilt. Maybe its the same this time and the function will work again in a day or two?

So yes, that is the impression I would have had about newbies had the merit system not been introduced. Of course, not all newbie are the same, it's just that many newbie have habits like that in many cases of discovery.
I was treated that way; every other new-era newbies must have been a little bit assumed to have no directive at all, and probably no motive... I got upset but after sometime in here, I began to realize the reasons why it happened.
bottom-line is that you gotta prove them wrong; There was this keen enthusiasm that users had before the merit system was introduced -- I wasn't here before then buh I've read fragment of posts and it's way different from what's happening today... I can confirm this, as the browser tells me a security server certificate error, so it is not a DDoS, but rather a problem with the site’s server or in the connection between BTT server and the database.
we are always afraid of getting DDoS attacks all the time...lol, but that did look like an attack since there's barely the same effect to the users like the last time we got hit -- unless for the fact that you understood the error message clearly.

If we see the history of Bitcoin, then it's pretty easy to see how Bitcoin recovered its price. It would take time to recover, but eventually it did. So at the end of the day, holders don't need to be regretful. I am talking about Bitcoin, not about any other altcoin. Because even though the Bitcoin price has recovered, many altcoins haven't recovered yet. Even those who bought Bitcoin at the top in the last bull run, I believe they are almost recovered. If they are still holding, they will be in profit within a couple of months. Bitcoin has given us a costly lesson that holders won't regret. We should take that lesson and keep it in mind for the future.

Hey! I was thinking of something this night, this thing about merits and the merit-sources. If you are a merit-source, should you always give away merit to good posts even if you dislike the user that created the post?
Or are you allowed to be controlled by your feelings and only give away merit to people you like or don't know?
OP, I understand exactly what you tried to describe.. you see, I also noticed this way-back, and I brought it up - but that wasn't because I was slow in getting merited (atleast in my own timing) or because my post wasn't worth meriting -- at some point, I needed to stop writing congratulatory messages since it was seen as a way of "begging for merit"..
