Message to Genesis mining :

To be fair with your customers you have to re-activate the contracts you cancelled last month.

BTC price has increased of 42% at the time of speaking. You can't say the fees are covering the profit anymore.

Try to show us you care about your customers and are not mining only for yourself.

382  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Best Countries for Bitcoin Businesses on: October 29, 2015, 04:02:48 PM
I think that Switzerland would be a good place to open a bitcoin business in. They have strong privacy laws which would protect your users, and Switzerland is also a Financial hotspot in europe.

Yeah that is true. Switzerland is the fianasol hospot in europe but did their banks accept bitcoin? I didn't read any news about that before.

Our authorities decided not to regulate it at the moment. But our banks doesn't accept bitcoin directly. We have exchange plateform, like everywhere else and you are free to use bitcoin. But bitcoins earning are subject to federal taxation (like every fiat earning..).

But it's true we have several BTC business coming here (Xapo for exemple...)
383  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about this comment ? on: October 28, 2015, 08:04:25 PM
most of the 47 top addresses are exchanges, who manage thousands of users.

Well, we all have to admit : it's well known a few early adopters control an important part of the bitcoins. But what you say is really an important fact to remember.

One can't just consider 1 address = 1 individual. It would be really absurd.

But you also have to remember that the bitcoin network is still young. Wealth will have a better repartition in a few years...

Just want to say good luck.

I love your Color Swarm project by the way. Looks like a really funny idea :-)

If I have to answer 1 of your question : yes you should organize a pre-sale of your book. A crowdfunding project could be good to offer a preview of what we are paying for.
385  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CLAM] CLAMs, Proof-Of-Chain, Proof-Of-Working-Stake, a.k.a. "Clamcoin" on: October 20, 2015, 12:01:09 PM

This is a very bad idea to change the initial distribution rules now. If you change it once, people would think you can change it again anytime you like. You won't be able to keep any loyal holders and this will kill a trusted coin forever.

I agree with him. Let's focus on the developpment. Yes price is going low. But it will just increase the possibility for new users to buy clams. That's not so bad. You can't change the rules just because one man is digging a lot. That's part of what clams distribution was.

You better try to focus on developping the clams environment, which is quite poor in my opinion.

Payout for GM gone out already...it went out in the early hours this morning.

Let's check tomorrow then. Because today even with the fees, we are supposed to be in profit.
387  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Genesis-mining.com || World's leading hashpower provider! on: October 07, 2015, 04:08:06 PM
Has anyone made some calculation... Should 2$ / TH get a payout with the increase of BTC price or is it not enough?

You can always calculate it yourself using a mining profitability calculator like on coinwarz. Just use 41.667 for the power used, and fill in the price of the electricity as follows: 2.00 for 0.20 per GH per day, 1.50 for 0.15 per GH per day, 1.20 for 0.12 per GH per day.

If I use the numbers you give, I'm supposed to be in profit (according to coinwarz). Are you sure about the "power used" number ?

Let's wait and see if GM send something..

Yes I'm sure, you can easily check by verifying that if you enter 1 TH, the daily power costs will be exactly $ 2,-

I do notice however that Coinwarz is using an incorrect BTC price of 258 dollars.

Yes, but I changed it to 245 and was in profit too ;-)

Hey Dooglus.

Would you be interested in a french translation of the FAQ ?

I could do it for free (or a free tip of your choice). Just let me know and I can do it in a few days.

Hi.

I don't think I've ever seen anyone speaking French in the Just-Dice chat tab, so I don't think there would be much call for a French translation of the FAQ.

If you do want to do the translation, I'll upload it and link to it for sure.

Thank you for your answer. You are probably right. I'll do it for fun anyway. It probably could be useful for someone, someday Cheesy
 I'll let you know if/when it's done.
391  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Genesis-mining.com || World's leading hashpower provider! on: September 28, 2015, 04:16:40 PM
Be prepared for a major announcement coming up next week!
Did we miss the major announcement?

The major announcement was that all their old contracts are useless ? And still no goodwill measure for their oldest customers.

They will get what they probably deserve : no more investment here and a bad publicity.
392  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Genesis-mining.com || World's leading hashpower provider! on: September 25, 2015, 02:56:07 PM
Do you still get payout for your old contracts?

If my math is not total off, yes. But not 100%.
Overall payout at the moment is 89.60% of my calculation.

Think it should normalize in the next days.

I'm not paid with my older contracts. So there is a problem somewhere ^^

Unless you don't have 0.02$ /ghs contract but 0.015 ?
393  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam alert : Do NOT INVEST in Genesis Mining on: September 24, 2015, 05:21:46 PM
I do not think it was a ponzi at all just a bad investment. They clearly stated the cost of the contracts upfront...unless terms were changed? Not sure this needs to be said, but here: cloud mining is always an bad extremely risky investment

Yeah. That's true. I should have been more suspicious about the fees. But, Genesis Mining is also very shady.

As I say, they are hiding a lot of informations for no reason (for exemple the blocks they resolve with our hash, the total hashrate).

I believe they are "half ponzi" "half mining" and shouldn't be trusted.

394  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Genesis-mining.com || World's leading hashpower provider! on: September 24, 2015, 04:57:41 PM
We have replied to you many times during the last few days which you have also replied back to us. So am not sure why you have this campaign against us at the moment.

Maybe because all your old customers lost their money ?

Sorry if these are not the answers that you want.

If you want to attract new customers, you better find a solution for us and an other answer. Because we will keep complaining here.

395  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Genesis-mining.com || World's leading hashpower provider! on: September 24, 2015, 04:52:55 PM
Damn, they erased my post one more time ^^

You should answer your customers tickets instead of erasing my posts here. If you take more than 4 days to answer my e-mail, it means you have some work to do right ?

I love your communication skills GM Cheesy

Unlike other ponzis they´re dedicated to transparency, most trusted in the world et cetera. One thing is for sure though, LIKE other ponzis they refuse to prove that they mine.

When I asked about their proof of mining, they showed me this website -> http://lifeinsideabitcoinmine.com/ where I can see their miners working 24/7.
But I doubt they are really utilizing them for customers  Huh  Roll Eyes  Roll Eyes

Yeah. This is no proove. It's just a good excuse for them. So they can keep the informations we are asking for (total hash, blocks found, etc..).

My payouts dropping consistently for the last 5 days..!!!

If you had an "old" contract (0.002 fee / ghs) he is worthless now. Your profit is 0 with the fee GM is taking and the actual BTC price / difficulty.

If you have a "new" contract (0.0015 or 0.0012) you still have a payout but you have to hope BTC price will rise & difficulty won't rise too much..

Maybe you have both of it, so you still get paid a little something..

@Genesis Mining
what do you think about getting your early customers from their 0,002$/GH/D fee contract to the new 0,0012$/GH/D fee contracts. In my opinion this would be advisable, feasible and fair towards your early adopters (besides that, good marketing).

Let us know your thoughts.

Kind regards,
elrippo

I agree.

Perhaps asking for 0.0012 is too much. But I think they could do a gest of goodwill. We "old" customers were the first to trust them, to give them capital, etc..

You mean this guy Galdur ?

If I was him I would hunt them to try to get my money back..

Ready for a long term investment...upgrading to more in the next few days : )

Looking forward in January they could keep operating at $100 but now at $229 contracts are becoming worthless?

Maybe his highness could get off his high horse and elaborate on this.

Thank you. This archive is quite an epic one Cheesy

Dear Marco

Instead of deleting my posts, why don't you show to the world how much I paid your company and how much I "mined" ?
Why can't you prove I'm wrong when I'm saying no body will ROI with you ? Face my posts instead of deleting it.

My post has been deleted 3 times. I'm saying you have to find a solution for your old customers and, yes, I have opened a scam accusation thread against GM because I think the risk is way too high and no body should invest in it.

Your own exemple shows it Marco : what if BTC doesn't go to 300 but goes to 170 instead ? You don't even say that difficulty will keep rising (which means your new customers will be f**** in a few months anyway). You're are the one taking the money right now, buying asics, taking fees, you are even able to resell the asics after that.

You don't provide any valuable informations (total hash, pools, blocks found).

No one is gonna make a nice profit here. Only you will. People have to know it before investing.

GM has to be more transparent (blocks found with our hash for exemple), they also have to give a solution to the majority of customers having 0.002 BTC fee/ ghs in their contracts (= 0 profit and no ROI).

(and you can't blame us for posting here : your support doesn't answer very quickly..)
