381  Economy / Goods / Re: I'll buy $10 iTunes Gift card for 1[btc] on: October 11, 2012, 12:54:32 AM
I can do that.  PM me.  I can get another one through my Viggle account.
382  Economy / Securities / Re: [NASTY MINING] on: October 11, 2012, 12:46:53 AM
It's UP! Go Go Go! Grin

EDIT: It seems the "AML" identification screen was removed, just asks for an updated email, btc address and a tick to choose to share with asset issuers that info. Next screen says the account is closed and that we'll be contated by email with further info.

This sounds like good news. Now to wait for GLBSE to send the email...

I'd rather see my investment companies send me that email.
383  Economy / Securities / Re: Verifing account of GLBSE discussion on: October 10, 2012, 08:30:02 PM
i wanted to do exactly that but after witching to my new iphone 5 i somehow missed that Google Auth was on my iphone 4..... Lost it because i sold it already :/

i was in the process of getting this disabled (With a GLBSE crew member called: James McCarthy (GLBSE)) when THIS crap hit :/

You back up your 4 through iTunes before getting rid of it?  It'll be on there.

What kind of "again" ?
I hope not "suspicious activity again" or "we get scammed again".

It happened yesterday.

Man this BTC shit is not for the feint of heart.

I'll offer 7BTC
388  Economy / Securities / Re: GLBSE is offline We will update our users on Saturday. on: October 06, 2012, 12:15:36 AM
I think Nefario has only 32 hours from now to post an updates.

I'll hold my breath, just like I did for Pirate.

I'm calling on Loup to inject some humor.  Replace "Postal Service" with "SEC" and "Thai honey" with "unlicensed securities".

Pleeeeez?  I need a good laugh about now...
389  Economy / Securities / Re: GLBSE is offline We will update our users on Saturday. on: October 04, 2012, 10:48:50 PM
Either people will profit highly on the panic sell if GLBSE reopens, or they'll lose invested BTC if it's shut down completely.

I dodged a bullet with pirate, saw through MNW, but didnt see this coming.
390  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Meanwhile in lower Manhattan..... on: October 03, 2012, 10:31:41 PM
I'm guessing a Belgian Tripel.  Too dark to be a weizen, and it's the wrong type of glass.

Back on topic, what's the cut for MasterCard transactions?
391  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Meanwhile in lower Manhattan..... on: October 03, 2012, 10:27:46 PM
At least he likes a good pint of beer!
392  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many bitcoins do you have? on: October 03, 2012, 10:04:43 PM
It's just like everything else, more than 90% of the wealth is held by less than 10% of the people (and I'm in the wrong 10%).

Then develop "CommieCoin"!  Coins are distributed from each according to his abilities, to each according to his needs.

Mining operators making over a certain amount would be taxed at say, 75% (vive Le France).  These coins would be sent to an elected Parliment (maybe you!) where they can be equally distributed among the needy.

After the Parliment's overhead costs, of course.

Sign me up, comrade!

That sucks, bro.

If it's any consolation (probably not), I heard a story on this forum once about a guy that formatted a drive with tens of thousands of coins on it. He said the worst part was his wife knowing about it.

You can easily recover files from a formatted drive.

Big Trouble in Little China
Mannequin
Eraserhead

Just kidding - im a blank slate with a lot of the movies on this list.  From the suggestions here, I'm going to check them out.  Hope they're on the Netflix.

If you can find some on netflix, could you post them here? I can't really browse netflix with my TV remote.

(I hope your not talking about my three suggestions...)

Let Me In is confirmed on NetFlix.  First on my list.

So very glad that someone is going to watch my recommendations. Or is this just a coincidence? Are you going to go for all eleven films in my recent list a few posts back? Which ones caught your attention?

On a sidenote: I wish Wong Kar-Wai's Blu-ray of Days of Being Wild would arrive in my mailbox already: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6cExEkJjyD8

Watched "Let the Right One In"(english subtitled) - very good movie, I'll add it to the dark, snowy movies (The Shining) that I throw in once the snow starts here.  First big snowfall - always The Shining.

Anyone watch "Inherit the Wind" with Spencer Tracy?  That's a really great movie and a great cast.  Harry Morgan is a judge, Dick York (Bewitched) is on trial.

If you do end up coming Yochdog, I swear to god if you don't have a beard like your avatar has, you might as well get back on the plane as soon as you step off.

I'd like to amend my vote for yochdog - send him only if he wears the same outfit Jodie Foster wore in Contact.  Extra points for Japanese-built headset camera.

"Yochdog only came back with a video of static"
"Yes, but how can you explain why there's four hours of it?"
