Coinbase can't do purchases right now, they are overbought.  I was going to make a purchase but can't until I can get some more BTC bought.
382  Economy / Services / Re: Butter Bot!: New Bitstamp, BTC-E, and MtGox EMA Trading Platform on: November 20, 2013, 07:41:44 PM
Every bot that profits in US$ but have loses in BTC is plain dangerous for your finances IMHO. Can we please resolve this issue with some data? Can someone who trades with this bot post profits/loses per 1 BTC per month, form the begining of the month till the end?

For example:

July, started 1BTC -> ended <fill here>BTC
August, started 1BTC -> ended <fill here>BTC
September, started 1BTC -> ended <fill here>BTC
October, started 1BTC -> ended <fill here>BTC

Thanks.

Not sure why that is your opinion... it depends entirely on your goal.  For me the goal isn't to accumulate BTC its to accumulate USD Smiley

In other news BTC-E triggered a trade this afternoon but its questionable if its going to make any money.
383  Economy / Services / Re: Butter Bot!: New Bitstamp, BTC-E, and MtGox EMA Trading Platform on: November 20, 2013, 11:45:24 AM
It is designed to make a profit in fiat currency, not in btc.
384  Economy / Services / Re: Butter Bot!: New Bitstamp, BTC-E, and MtGox EMA Trading Platform on: November 19, 2013, 08:37:16 PM
I changed my settings to one with much lower EMA values, and which still does well in backtesting. A modified version of the one Velacreations posted which got 7000% several pages back.

I hope it'll buy at a good price should the market take another swing down. Otherwise, I'm going to be stuck with fiat for a long time it would seem.

It's a long term strategy, not a day trader bot.  You have to accept that.  You can look at the charts and see clearly why its not going to trade.

Heh, wish BB had been smart enough to execute the sale at $900!  Ah well, I wish I had been smart enough to also Wink
386  Economy / Exchanges / Re: MtGox withdrawal delays [Gathering] on: November 19, 2013, 03:05:22 AM
I did yesterday.  I did pay the fee though.
387  Economy / Exchanges / Re: MtGox withdrawal delays [Gathering] on: November 19, 2013, 02:44:41 AM
BTC is easy... or at least I've never had an issue.
388  Economy / Services / Re: BTCMiners "Cloud Hashing" | $8.50 USD per GH/s! on: November 18, 2013, 07:50:24 PM
Looking forward to some of the same things others have asked for.  It's a very good price.  Some questions:

1) Is there a transfer fee?
2) Does this include any shares going to a restock pool to increase hashrate, etc; to keep the value per share up?  Just asking!
3) How will payouts work?

edit - NM I should read more before asking questions Wink

Yeah thanks they were pretty quick to cancel it.
390  Economy / Goods / Re: Buy, Sell, or Trade Collectors Silver, Gold, and Bullion on: November 18, 2013, 06:53:05 PM
Salty what are you looking for to buy?  I've got a bunch of old junk silver (mostly dimes and quarters) as well as about 30 2013 silver eagles, a bunch of Maple Leafs, some turtles, etc;  Kind of a weird eclectic mix Smiley
391  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: The "What Black Arrow does not want you to know" thread on: November 18, 2013, 06:40:31 PM
Yeah... weird thread.  I mean, we've got like 3Thz hashing over in the DZ group buy with pics and everything, so... there's that.
392  Economy / Services / Re: Butter Bot!: New Bitstamp, BTC-E, and MtGox EMA Trading Platform on: November 18, 2013, 01:53:27 PM
Heh forgot I had no reserve set.  Mt. Gox refunded me some cash from a pending withdrawal that was taking too long and BB executed a new buy with it.  Doh!

A question though, is it best to run all 3 exchanges?  Does that spread out your risk/reward potential?
393  Economy / Securities / Re: [KnCMiningOp] Buy and sell shares. on: November 17, 2013, 11:20:30 PM
Well, in terms of how you have handled it Wink  Yes it will be good when Jupi3 is fixed.
394  Economy / Securities / Re: [KnCMiningOp] Buy and sell shares. on: November 17, 2013, 10:54:39 PM
Everything has run smooth as silk so far.
395  Economy / Services / Re: Butter Bot!: New Bitstamp, BTC-E, and MtGox EMA Trading Platform on: November 17, 2013, 07:30:38 PM
Giving BB a try!  It's a little pricey it seems unless you have a larger trading account, but maybe that's just me.  I'm mostly messing around with it now.
396  Economy / Exchanges / Re: MtGox withdrawal delays [Gathering] on: November 17, 2013, 01:16:28 PM
How long does it take Mt. Gox to cancel a withdrawal request?  Really want to get my money out but they aren't responding very quickly.

Boris the latest KNC blog post indicated a delay of several days for parts they needed to get to them, so its going to be another week or two.
