I've bought and sold several times now and know to always add an extra business day or two to their estimation to get my money back. That said the instant buy option is outstanding for when I need some quick funds and they are certainly a crapload better than Mt. Gox to get fiat out of!

The bot's not meant to trade all time frames. Pablo's said this repeatedly. You don't like what it does, oh well. Don't buy it. Go write your own bot since you obviously are much smarter than all of us

|
|
Huh? You want me to prove that selling at a random time isn't better than what the bot does? That doesn't even remotely make sense Done arguing, the math to me is pretty easy. And since I'm up a few hundred bucks over the last few days, I'm good.

Because I don't have to sit in front of my PC waiting for the EMA lines to cross. If you believe in the EMA strategy (and forget your btc-e argument there is plenty of historical evidence on all 3 exchanges) then its an easy way to do it.

If I bought 1 BTC and held it how am I making more than when I bought 1, sold for a profit, bought back but even more on a dip, sold more at a profit, etc; Buy and hold only makes more if you are never buying back on a dip. Which isn't whats going on here

The problem is the bot initiates whatever trade it should when activated no matter how far away from the actual cross event you are which, in this volatile market, can mean a quick loss. That said anyone who activates a bot on an account with 10 BTC and doesn't understand how it works is nuts to me.

Goomboo thanks for this thread. Question since I haven't read through all of this where do you trade? Haven't found a good place I trust yet

Hey look if there's a bot that can increase both my BTC and my USD then awesome. In the mean time I want more USD and the bot is accommodating me there. Amy tweaks that are positive that's great. Yesterday for instance I knew that approaching $900 we would likely see a lot of resistance so I paused the bot and manually sold at $885. If I had waited for the lines cross I would have lost out. But hey, maybe I would have been wrong and it broke through $900 and I was out of luck. Thankfully I was right this time and the line cross came last night so I unpaused the bot and let it do its thing this morning on the upswing Yes this took watching the bot, watching the charts, and a guess based somewhat on past events. If I had left the bot alone what would have happened? I would have missed out on something like $60/BTC profit waiting for the lines to cross but I also wouldn't have been sitting in front of my PC all day

I get that some people prefer to accumulate BTC over USD. That said, I don't understand why those people keep harping in this thread. Some of us prefer to make USD. We're happy.

I don't know how, since there's been no EMA cross to sell.

I bought another 25Ghz So then I'll be up to 50Ghz purchased matched to 100 Ghz. In regards to the refund, I would agree that if it's not shipped by mid-December we should look at refunds. Thanks, Paul

No they aren't, your BTC goes into a wallet and is stored until shipped. They don't gain or lose any money.
Isn't the equipment paid for even if not shipped? Who's going to cover the refund? Will it affect the order? If they have another group "buy" listed in USD, what's the stop said person who got refund from turning around and getting more shares in the other one? That's what I mean by asking for trouble. M You certainly can do that... you pay them 1.5% fee when you ask for a refund. The way it has worked (and I assume still works) is that bob buys the equipment and the GB pays him back. But up until it ships that money is waiting. And if you did pull out of one and buy into another I suspect you would be waiting longer for the hashing, so it might not be worth it.

Actually DZ always refunds in BTC... the exact same amount you paid minus the 1.5% fee you agreed to. So relax. The funds are held in a wallet. Honestly these guys have been incredibly communicative in the 18+ GBs they have running, I don't know what else you want from them. If you want the refund, ask for the refund. As a member of the R9-R12 GBs we just ROId so... there's that

He is saying that they have an unlimited amount (basically) of BAs so it doesn't matter how much you want to buy. In other GBs no one person can have more than 25%.

|

Anyone else notice that with current BTC prices we basically ROI'd already? Not sure they will stay this high but that's still great news.

There is value IF YOU WANT TO MAKE USD itod, you have a certain opinion about the long term value of BTC. You think that taking profits in USD is hurting people financially. Not everyone shares your opinion. Some of us are using this bot strictly to gain USD account value. I get that is contrary to what you want, but it doesn't make it less valid. You want a bot that will gain you btc over time and this is not necessarily that bot. I am not sure how else to explain it.

25Ghz purchased. Look forward to the 1:1 match, hoping they deliver the hardware as promised.
|
|
|
But your goal is clearly to show you will have less BTC. Could be true, but you could still have more USD. So I'm not sure I understand. The profit is very clearly displayed in USD. The bot trades based on USD trade lines. Its goal is not to make you more btc, its to make you more USD. So whatever data you want to gather, its not going to change that.
