Well there was a DDoS attack recently so maybe he changed something to try combat it. I think when I first stopped receiving them it was after a DDoS attack so maybe theymos changed something that altered the IP that the emails come from and that particular one is blocked by your provider. I think that's what happened to me as theymos told me the emails were still being sent but I certainly wasn't receiving anything as I had before.

Notifications in what sense? To your email? If so, it's usually your provider blocking them. I used to get them to my email but when theymos made some changes to the forum a while back I stopped getting them at all, then one time he changed something else and they started again.

Looking at your post history I'd say the person who denied you was doing their job properly and if every other campaign did this the entire forum would be better as a result. I suggest swallowing your pride and improving your posts then try again but this immature behaviour isn't going to get you anywhere but turn more people against you.

Staff are not responsible for banning scammers. The community policies itself on such matters. If there's good evidence of a scam open a Scam Investigation and leave appropriate feedback.

Cantoner was banned but clearly not all his other related accounts were. (see the list he is on here)
In fact, it could only be a tiny percentage that were banned, as nearly all I have listed (and connected) are still active.

Was it just 1 or 2 accounts involved/banned?
BadBear will have likely only found the ones from the IP(s) connected directly to KnowHow. I've asked Cyrus to look into it further. |

Pretty good chance Cantoner is an alt of knowhow, a guy who had a lot of BCT accounts and did a lot of account farming. He and all his alts got banned for spam, so the account "Cantoner" is probably banned too. No solid proof linking them, but they talk way too similarly. The other alts might have been also farmed by him, and banned. Surprised how many farmed accounts there are. Cantoner has not posted since may, so may have been banned. He was banned. Please tell me,

What are the criteria for someone to become an administrator ? I never knew that moderators could get promoted to administrators There are no set criteria much like there isn't for becoming a mod in the first place but they're made/promoted when required just like admins and another has been badly needed for quite some time but being very active and trusted to do the job are probably the most important aspects. is it due the fact that BadBear isn't around anymore?
