3861  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should there be a GUI for Bitcoin core? on: May 23, 2016, 07:05:34 PM
Very good question.I'd like to answer it in the following ways :

► Why there shouldn't be a GUI for core ?
As much as I love user friendly interface applications,I hate the fact I belong to that part of the crowd for whom the technical aspects and codes don't matter .Dumber side of the society ? I may call it ,because I want to be cool as other kids too!Even I like tinkering with bits here and there!Like Linus Torvalds says,he doesn't like GUI at all ,programmers don't like things easy.I'm a programmer and I'm sure its okay to say, most of the people comfortable with core are programmers too!Which makes GUI the least of their concerns to worry about when they're other challenges to solve. On the brighter side, there are always other fancy web wallets for the general crowd which raise the security concerns. To face that ,either general crowd has to get used to the technical side of the core or always live in a fear that the coins are not safe. Why ? Its a technical revolution,be a part of the greater good!

► Why there should be a GUI for core ?
Core can be tagged as the safest bitcoin wallet where not even a satoshi moves without your permission.Speaking of which, you can customize your own needs.A bit harder for every tom dick in the town to understand but does what it needs to.Matter of fact, every tom, dick and harry in the town needs bitcoins to get shit done which makes it important for them to use Core ,can't rely on the fraud blokes running a shithole called exchanges right ? Core should be home for their coins too.Tom won't join a bitcoin university to learn Core, neither he has enough time or skills to self learn by himself. This proposes a need of a beautiful GUI with 5 simple clicks you're ready to go.
3862  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Known large bitcoin holders on: May 23, 2016, 06:17:52 PM
Did anyone miss this forum/theymos out ? Correct me if I'm wrong but from the donations and stuff I've heard theymos is worth 9000+ bitcoins ? I'm sure most of the money is for the new forum's development and stuff but it still considered as valid right ?
3863  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is JETWIN.ps a complete joke? on: May 23, 2016, 03:05:17 PM
The irony when the customer service representative is a female (assuming Kathy is a female name, knowing jetwin now it might just be a male Kathy) informing that the bonus is not available to women

That is the closest Jetwin has ever been involved in dealing with a female in their team.Who knows, all the gambling sites have Kathy's and Jessica's as their support representatives.
3864  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is JETWIN.ps a complete joke? on: May 23, 2016, 02:50:10 PM
@Jetwin : Thanks for being a sexist ,I being a transgender is now worried to log on to your website again.Next time please make the damn laws for outcast of the society (people like me,and women of course) who don't deserve to gamble just because we have boobs. You're like the Donald Trump of the Bitcoin Gambling World.
3865  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: losing 50 bitcoins gambling on: May 23, 2016, 02:46:08 PM
did you lose 50 coins while gambling then the onlky thing i couls say to you is that you are a bastard. Why are you playing like a fool dont gamble with that amount of coins dont you know how much its worth.

Mate,he owns those coins. Why are you calling him a bastard ? Why are you jelly ? Also he was not plain gambling but sports betting which is kind of justified but he should have been a little bit careful. The win amount was 37BTC,not a bad risk at all!
3866  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Block.io api custom fee? on: May 23, 2016, 02:43:15 PM
A little reading through the developers documentation would have solved the problem.
Quote
Block.io eases your burden of storing information regarding users' addresses, labels, and user IDs. Below, we provide various methods that allow you to make fine-grained withdrawals from your account(s). You can withdraw from any addresses, from specific addresses, from specific user ids, and from specific labels, and you can send the specified amounts to up to 2500 destination addresses, users, or labels in a single API call.

The amount withdrawn must at least be 2 DOGE, 0.00002 BTC, or 0.002 LTC. Please keep at least 1 DOGE, 0.0001 BTC, or 0.001 LTC for network fees. There are no Block.io fees. Larger transactions (in bytes) will incur larger amounts of network fees as per Bitcoin/Dogecoin/Litecoin specifications. As of 06/09/15, you can now specify an additional parameter priority={low, medium, high} to increase the network fee paid in the given transaction. More specifically, priorities of low, medium, high will pay 1x, 2x, and 5x the minimum network fees possible on the network, respectively. As of 07/07/15, network fees will auto-scale according to network loads if the priority parameter is not provided.

So you can use the code :

/api/v2/withdraw/?api_key=API KEY&amounts=AMOUNT1,AMOUNT2,...&to_addresses=ADDRESS1,ADDRESS2,...&pin=SECRET PIN {additional paramter goes here} priority=Low
3867  Economy / Reputation / Re: Gianluca95 is spamming on: May 23, 2016, 02:29:38 PM
There is nothing to speak about; he was a spammer. The proof is in his posts, which are public for everyone to read. There are no excuses for spamming, especially while he was getting paid for it.
He is back again but never bothered to reply here or in his Meta thread where he brought up the issue with other shit posting account.Maybe he is too busy dealing with his little signature campaign business.
3868  Economy / Services / Re: [CLOSED] Ophion Signature Campaign on: May 21, 2016, 07:57:42 PM
I'm wondering if someone was deliberately trying to frame my reputation at stake through this.
Not me.

Actually, hazelnutter was the one who contacted me all of a sudden regarding the escrow and without even answering to his request he send me the escrow fee which is why I had to accept the request. Otherwise I wasn't interested in it in first place.
Its allright. Mistakes happen.Glad and I really appreciate you took funds out of your own pockets. That is the kind of behavior one expect's from an escrow and or (a trusted forum member).
3869  Economy / Services / Re: [CLOSED] Ophion Signature Campaign on: May 21, 2016, 07:48:17 PM
Hey Noteak apparently you sent funds back so that the cheater promised to pay the active investors .I was an investor too and haven't got jack shit.Just avoid taking risks from future ,I can't blame it on ya but if you would have cared to read the accusation you would know what the master plan was.
3870  Economy / Services / Re: FOR HIRE promotion & developing, managing social media, community on: May 20, 2016, 09:28:05 PM
This does not belong here. Anyhow the sig campain is open for the moment for the escrow to make a statement.
Are you in contact with the owners ? You are to be equally blamed if you're part of the team .They ran away with investors money and since you were the chosen manager for the campaign maybe you'd know better. Please help us with any input you can.
3871  Other / Archival / Re: [WTS] One of the first 500 Bitcointalk accounts to ever be created. on: May 20, 2016, 09:25:01 PM
That is really cool you are selling one of the first accounts to be created, i'd assume most people wouldn't want to get rid of those rare accounts so i'm surprised to finally see one pop up! I'll start off with $35 for the account i'd offer you more if I had more bitcoin Smiley

Are you out of your mind ? What difference does it make ? You do know right if you try to re sell that account you won't find many people as stupid as you ? Bitcoin talk account is not a collectible.More or less ,we 're moving to the new forum in a few days.Think about it ,common sense can probably save some bucks .
3872  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Gone OPHION.IO Motherfuckers Ran away with Investors's Money! Amount : 17BTC on: May 20, 2016, 09:20:03 PM
They started this week a signature campaign which unfortunately is closed (both the ANN thread and the signature campaign thread), but hopefully the funds for the signature campaign are held by escrow (1BTC), a discussion that was made a bit earlier: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1479452.0
Sorry for your loss, to many scams are happening recently.
Yeah that money was part of the ICO funds ,even if he paid 1BTC to look legit, he had 17-20 BTC to run with.Fortunately I did not invest much.
3873  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: OPHION signature campaign halt ... on: May 20, 2016, 09:16:58 PM
Fuck the Signature Campaign, the entire project is dumped I believe.Your signature money is actually investors money.
Scam accusation opened https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1479475.0

Dear all Ophion Investors and Members,

Due to legendary idiot member Hueristic (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=198573), We are having a hard time continuing developement or getting interested parties involved with development. We have now just lost one of the exchanges because of his messages. He is ruining what Ophion could be for you.

Ophion is to be developed by 2 people I know well and have worked with (Still in discussion about payment) But our communication is good. We can continue this project but I really dont know how much we can make from it now as a bit of fud like this can turn people off.

Hueristic is throwing accusation at everyone and everything and lying himself to make our project look bad. We dont know what his problem is. We have no other choice but to stop the project. We are unable to fully pay everyone back due to the fact we have used funds for Marketing (Community Manager, Sig Campaign), Servers, Developers, Translators and more. But we can pay back what we can.

If you are out of pocket, This is Hueristic's fault, not ours. we only wanted to make a good project for the community, but I guess that is not possible with such trolls. I am out of pocket myself also.

Regards,

Sebastian Bates

-Sebastian (thats why we tag our names)

Ran away with around : 17 Bitcoins last time I checked.
Official crowdfunding website dumped too : https://www.ophion.io/
Official Ann Thread Locked : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1464725.0

Good lesson learnt! Don't take ShitCoin projects too seriously.

3875  Economy / Lending / Re: Looking for 1 BTC Loan on: May 18, 2016, 05:13:52 PM
OKAY, I will offer my samsung galaxy s5 as colateral!

That is not a valid collateral for the amount you're requesting.Galaxy S5 used should be not more than 0.40BTC ,if its new and in excellent condition maybe 0.50BTC.According to the collateral rule, your asset must be 120% higher in value than the requested amount. You will get a loan of 0.25 with S5 as collateral. But again shipping of the phone and everything takes time.
3876  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Signature campaigns !! on: May 18, 2016, 04:59:40 PM
To reply your 1st post: I assumed that he already knows how bitcoin works because he was able to find this forum for the first place. Roll Eyes
That is a wrong assumption. If you search anything related to bitcoin like bitcoin loans, earn bitcoins, exchange bitcoins r signature campaigns ,this forums comes on the top searches. Why do you think all the newbies ask for loans here ? Also not necessary if you know the forum you know about bitcoins.
3877  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: losing 50 bitcoins gambling on: May 18, 2016, 01:11:12 PM
Damn dude ,you got some serious balls but no..brain....Risking that amount of bitcoins on a match which you were not sure of was probably not a good idea.I mean you could pay 0.10 bitcoins and get a  expert advise from the professional tipsters.
3878  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Signature campaigns !! on: May 18, 2016, 01:02:09 PM
I suggest that you either wait for months for your account to rank up or you go study and learn all the rules of this forum then buy a higher rank account. Probably learn to construct an understandable english so that people won't claim that they can't understand your posts. If you haven't tried the other stuffs on bitcoin such as gambling, trading, investing, etc, then you should try them while you are waiting for your account to rank up.

Three words : Worst Suggestion ever.

1st (Sized increased part): He doesn't have to learn all the rules in order to join a signature campaign,he needs to learn them to survive this forum.Which is only possible with time, you can't just read the stickies and expect to be a perfect poster.Ask him to learn about the bitcoin network first.

2nd (Sized increased part): Suggesting him to buy higher rank account =Sig Spamming. When will people realize that is the core problem of this forum.

Hi there,I'm an experienced C++ developer but haven't really worked on any decentralized projects or even used QT (I'm aware of its modules though).I'm looking forward for a small internship with intentions to learn about the project or say the entire architecture in general.I know this won't be a paid job but if you can provide certifications at the end I can give your around  17 hours a week (not counting weekends.) I'm good with data structures and algorithms.Let me know if I can be of any help.
