In the past I've had a few merit giveaways topics in beginners section in the forum.
I wanted to help newbies to receive their first merits but eventually gave up.
Most of the reported posts from the newbies were of very poor quality, and did not deserve merits.
Not only that, but after closing such topics, I would receive private messages from newbies begging me to give them merits.
I simply gave up on such a way of sharing merit and now I try to find myself quality and good posts that deserve merits.

I agree but there are levels to that. Messi just gives up when his mates stop feeding him. CR7 is never loses his passion no matter how shitty his team is. He always tries to bite the enemy. Such is the difference between Messi and Ronaldo. I agree, Messi is nothing without his other teammates. As long as his teammates can't provide lots of good passes or bad teamwork. Then Messi is nothing at Barcelona, if only hope for individual skills. We all know that Messi is one of the best players in this era. He has some incredible skill, which is not in anyone else. But I am agreed with you that, Messi is dependent on his teammate. But Ronaldo is not like that. He is like 'one-man army”. Whatever the team, he always gives his best afford from his place. I don't completely agree with you. Messi is not one of the greatest footballers today but the best footballer to play today. Argentina and Barcelona with Messi and without him are not the same team, he makes the team and players better. Messi doesn't depend on the team and the players but they depend on him. Another question is how good it's for both Barcelona and Argentina. |

I don't think so. As I understand, I only need to report my crypto earnings to the tax office when I exchange my crypto funds to fiat, not before. Of course, other countries can have different rules. |

Tax is only 12 % but if we have kept crypto funds in our wallet for at least 2 years, and we can prove it, we are exempt from paying taxes.
It's very fair rule.
And what explains the point that if you store more than two years of cryptocurrency in your wallet, you are exempt from taxation? Are there any limits on money withdrawal? So you can put a few million dollars in your wallet and wait a few years, and then withdraw them without interest and everything will be fine. The scheme is too suspiciously simple. Of course, I’m not a tax expert but from what I understand, the tax office views bitcoin as a type of investment, similar to investing in stocks. In fact, the tax office views it as a risky investment and applies the same rule as investing in stocks and that is a tax exemption if certain legal conditions are met. The money you invest in bitcoin or crypto must first come from some other source, another income that has already been taxed, right? |

I think this is what we are trying to move away from. Taxing cryptocurrency by the government is doing what they do best - make people poor.
It's not quite as simple as it seems. Taxes also serve to cover the health services of the poor, for pensions, social services etc. Is it ok to be exempt from paying tax on crypto earnings and use all these services for free (at least in Europe )? I think that Croatian government solved this issue very well. We pay taxes on crypto earnings only if we exchange our crypto funds to fiat Tax is only 12 %. |

The magnificent return of Osaka and a great victory.
This young girl is really not afraid of anything and has the quality and psyche needed to become the greatest tennis player.
For a long time no girl has dominated women’s tennis but Osaka can change that.

I didn't get to watch the Women's final but from the looks of the stats it was a good final going to three sets. Osaka fought back strong after going down 6-1 in the first set. Its always good to see players come back like what Azarenka has been able to do and now I hope she can continue on with this form, congrats to Osaka on winning her second US Open title.
Now we move onto the Men's final which after Djokovic was out, most of us were hoping for this final between Zverev and Thiem. Lets hope that it will be an epic final between the two as just think its the first Grand Slam final without the big three in many years, I can't even remember the last Grand Slam final where there was no Federer, Nadal and Djokovic.
Last time when we have Grand Slam Final without big three its nearly around 2003 or 2002 because after this we have never any final without these big 3 giants now hopefully we will have many without them as Federer is going out and age factor is also creating problems for him Djokovic is still good but Nadal is not in for some time may be this gape create some serious problems for him Thiem and Zverev and Medvedev these can bring some good change in coming years. If Djokovic was not disqualified, then probably we will still see 1 of the 3 in the finals, unfortunately it is a big disappointment for Djokovic as he didn't lost in the tennis ground. We are hoping to see other names in a final for more than 10 years, however, with the circumstance surrounding today, the pandemic, Federer and Nadal are out and then Djokovic disqualification, I think this US Open 2020 is an exception. Anyhow, will be thrilled to see Thiem vs Zverev today, and I will go with the favourite in Thiem here. It was expected that this would happen one day, that someone other than Federer, Nadal or Djokovic finally wins the GS. Too bad it happened this way when due to health problems and coronavirus Federer and Nadal didn't even come at all and Djokovic was disqualified. However, Nadaj will still be the favorite to win the GS in Paris and Djokovic the favorite to win all the other GS. Thiem, Medvedev and Zverev are certainly the future of tennis but I’m not sure their time has already come. |

To je onda samo loša investicija. Ja pričam o cjelovitom real-estate marketu kao o jednom od 'balona' i osporavam to ukoliko ga usporedim s većinom ostalih marketa.
Uglavnom ulažemo u indekse, ETF-ove i vrijednosne papire, od toga natrag dobivamo uglavnom samo CFD (Call For Difference) ugovore i tu i tamo pokoju dividendu ako imamo dobre dionice.
S tim ne možemo ništa osim trgovati, dok sama nekretnina u većini slučajeva niti nije instrument investiranja već potrebe. Samim tim za mene nije balon, pogotovo kad pričamo o globalnom real-estate marketu.
Slazem se s tobom kad se radi o nekretninama. Cijene konstantno rastu, no raste i potraznja. Ako se uzme kao primjer Irska. Tamo doslovno mozes naci posao u roku od par sati nakon sto dodjes u zemlju, dok ces stan ili kucu traziti mjesecima. ovo uopce nije pretjerivanje nego realnost. Sve vise ljudi se skuplja na sve jako male povrsine gdje ima najvise polsovnih prilika i to dize cijene i potraznju. I nije to balon koji se moze raspuknuti sam od sebe, mora se dogoditi dosta dramaticnih stvari da bi se cijene nekretnina mogle naglo srozati. Zapravo, ''tradicija posjedovanja nekretnine'' je kod nas nasljeđe komunizma, gdje su se nekretnine dijelile radnicima i zaslužnim pojedincima a poslije promje ne sustava velikom broju ljudi je omogućeno da vrlo povoljno i jeftino otkupi svoje stanove na koje su imali stanarsko pravo. Rezultat toga je da valjda 90 % ljudi živi u svojoj nekretnini dok me u zapadnim zemljama to potpuno drugačije. Tamo je vlasništvo nad nekretninom luksuz i malo ljudi to sebi može priuštiti. Većina živi u najmu ali za razliku od nas, gdje e vjerojatno bar 90 % najma na crno i podstanari nemaju nikakvu pravnu zaštitu, na zapadu je to pravno vrlo strogo regulirano i podstanari imaju ugovore i vrlo dobru pravnu zaštitu. S obzirom na to, ljudi vani na zapadu su vrlo mobilni i bez problema će preseliti zbog studija ili ponude za boljim poslom. Kod nas ljudi su vezani uz svoju nekretninu i neće promijeniti mjesto svog boravka i prebivališta čak i ako im se nudi bolji posao i veća plaća u nekom drugom gradu. S druge strane, nekretnine kod nas ljudima služe uglavnom kao mjesto za život a na zapadu ljudi je iznajmljuju i zarađuju na njoj. |

I'm not proposing this because you are a girl, but because of the forum rules that all members should follow.
Anyway, as a new member I welcome you and I hope that you will not have problems here as in the other forum.
Personally, I haven't noticed that the female members here have any problems but it's true that there are a lot more male members and I don't really know the reason for that.
