41  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: mining stats on minepeon with LCD display on: January 09, 2014, 10:22:21 AM
I was under the impression that minepeon was ready to rock with the Adafruit display, it should already have PiMiner installed...
Just run the second command in the post above

There are plugins for MinePeon...

The one you are looking for is here: http://minepeon.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=371
42  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [Checking interest] QikFury blank boards + Bitfury chips + Vregulator group buy on: January 09, 2014, 02:08:07 AM
Interested in at least one kit, maybe more.
43  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Just sending out some feelers. on: January 06, 2014, 05:42:47 AM
How much would people pay for the following:

1x BFL Single 50GHash - Runs at 56 GHash.
1x BFL Single 60GHash - Runs at 56 GHash as well.

Both are in full working condition, with original power supplies.

Depending on what the next few days of number crunching provides, I may end up selling mine instead of waiting and letting their entire usability period vanishes.

This is my two cents... if BTC0.75 can get a cube now that's 38GH/s, so I can't see anyone paying more than BTC1, probably more like BTC0.90 - BTC0.95
44  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: DRILLBIT SYSTEM Miners - Thumbs (Temp NA), 8 Boards (0 left) on: January 06, 2014, 02:44:02 AM
Well its 6 januari and i am still waiting for news when my 8 x drillbit boards will be repaired.

Difficulty went up again and i have not mined a single bit yet.

bronan, where are you located/who did you send your boards to for repair?

never mind, I see milkbottlec is doing your repairs & stated he would be gone on holiday for a short time. Hopefully you get them soon, holidays being in the middle of the week have really screwed shipping up for me, I know it probably has done the same for others as well.

Updated with pictures.
Thanks for the pics, could you possibly do 1 more of a top down of just the board?

And I'll bid 0.06 (highest was 0.05 i think).

i'll bid 0.05 btc Smiley with shipping to sarasota fl.

you just want the chips/board or the entire thing?
If I had a reason to drive down to Sarasota, I would, but I can't think of one, other than Munchies420, which that's not a reason, it's just setting up for a heart attack.

the entire thing Smiley but my address in Sarasota is my Freight Forwarder Smiley so I'm not there. I just wanted to see a Jap in real life - and see what I can do with it (I'm an electronics engineer)

Ah, yea I had a friend that worked one of the mail forwarding services years ago down there... anyhow, I'll keep the thread open for about 10hrs for shits & giggles, but I'll start putting it back together and find a box for it Wink

I guess the 10 hours are up Smiley can we close the deal Smiley

Sorry, forgot didn't end up getting home until late yesterday. I really didn't think there would be much/any interest in this, but I'll post some pictures here in a few.

To everyone:

* It is non-operational due to the USB connection being broken off, butchered, and then some, just making that clear. It was operating at 7.5-8GH/s after the repair of the USB port, it was then broken off again. The BFL chips are still operational, the overall unit/board is not *

Like I said, I'll post some pictures in a few.

53  Economy / Computer hardware / [SOLD] Broken Jalapeņo (7.5-8GH/s, BFL chips still good) on: January 03, 2014, 05:41:59 AM
ENDED/SOLD
- BigJon901 had the highest offer - Already paid, packaged, and shipping 01/06/2014
Best offer at the time of 2014-01-05 13:00 EST

Originally bought it from bitpop, as a broken unit, the USB 5-pin connector was broken off, then by the time it got to me it had been far butchered, somehow, I managed to get it working @7.5-8GH/s, it ran for a solid few months no issues until a USB hub fell behind it and hit the USB on the back of the jally.

I pronounce it dead (unless you care to find the independent USB traces and cut them out, run them to a connector, etc, etc...), by the time it got to me there were only 2 traces visible, I found tiny remnants of the other 3 and got lucky.

Again, it is *not functioning* but the (2) chips on the board are in perfect working order. Comes with jally PSU

If anyone just wants the two chips, I can remove them from the board and just send the chips, I have the equipment to do so without harming them, just let me know.

I might be interested in doing one @BTC0.7 with local pickup myself Wink

sweet.  We can all meet up have lunch and swap mining stories.

Actually that sounds like a decent idea if we do a meetup.  You are both interested in one?

I'm down depending on the day.

Hi everyone,

I will be accepting for a short time (let's call it an experiment..) payments in cryptocurrencies to my Etsy shop.
http://www.etsy.com/shop/InnovoDesign
Since there is no such option integrated into Etsy, you will have to e-mail me for prices etc.
I will be accepting DOGE, IFC, COL

Thanks

pretty neat stuff; Since it's 3d printed, for the container are you 3d printing it yourself to the extent you can custom stuff?

Also curious about the blue option Wink

60  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: Linux mining distro for the Raspberry PI - MinePeon on: December 23, 2013, 01:19:12 PM
I'm a bit tired, and a bit dazed with all this mining stuff at the moment.   Embarrassed

What is the story with the IceFury USB miners?  They seem to be a NanoFury clone.

Is the hidapi stuff included with MinePeon?  Or did I try and install hidapi when trying to get the BlueFurys working?  Jeesh, I can't remember.  Roll Eyes

Also, someone mentioned adding the -q option to bfgminer to improve performance - well I've tried it on my OpenWRT router, and performance is much, much improved, so much that my Blades and Cube run on the OpenWRT device when they used to switch to the Windows machine in preference.

last I heard IceFury was the continuation of the BlueFury/RedFury design.
