41  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏏🏏 sportbet.one 🏏🏏 [IPL 2020] Prediction pool and discussion 🏏🏏 on: October 05, 2020, 01:20:24 PM
They did mess up indeed. The big blow was Bhuvi's injury recently who is their primary pace bowler. He probably could have brought the target down by 20-30 runs.

Krunal Pandya destroyed Kaul at the end. I was surprised to see Kaul in the squad since I hate his bowling. In the CSK vs KXIP match, I bet on CSK and loved the outcome. Punjab is back to its losing ways.

Bowling is the weakest department for Sunrisers Hyderabad. Apart from Rashid Khan and Bhuvneshwar Kumar, none of their bowlers have been consistent. Thangarasu Natarajan bowled well in the last match, but he is inexperienced. All their other bowlers, including Siddarth Kaul, Sandeep Sharma and Abdul Samad were terribly expensive. And to make matters worse, Bhuvneshwar Kumar is injured.

It was felt yesterday way Chennai openers played and a unbeaten stand to win match by 10 wickets makes it say all. What a comeback by Chennai which were in the bottom of table made a comeback by winning match by 10 wickets. Luckily picked Chennai and got 1 point.

For today's match a lot of them picking RCB and bad news for Delhi - Amit Mishra is ruled out of IPL due to finger injury.
42  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it alright to invest with bitcoin at the current market price? on: October 05, 2020, 09:19:07 AM
I think that the best way to properly use the current situation is long-term investment in Bitcoin. There are many facts on the basis of which forecasts of the Bitcoin exchange rate for the near future are based and one of the most eloquent is the impact of the pandemic and the economic crisis, as well as the halving of 2020. Considering these facts, then Bitcoin should bring a good profit, perhaps already next year, for those who invest at the current price now.
I think you utter the good point of investing. It’s about building a better future for all of us, not getting rich quick. I would love to go with  long-term investment in Bitcoin as well. The market depend on human emotion, and mostly fear so thinking about long term make us relief. Here I go long on Bitcoin and Bitcoin will go up that's inevitable since the price is testing the major resistance and the bullish breakout will start.

Price in long term will rise and we have seen in the past as well that fall may happen but bitcoin has a ability to rise back and it may take some time but eventually we will see the bull run happening an those who stay invested in it will make money from it rather than doing panic selling which may not be correct at many occasions. So, on dips it’s better to buy rather than wait.
43  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you a high roller? on: October 05, 2020, 05:42:53 AM
I'm a regular spinner and I wonder how it feels to be a high roller betting thousands of dollars in one spin and doing it in a lot of runs, these high rollers are businessmen or very rich people who don't mind throwing a lot of money just to get entertain, they want the excitement not just the money so they are comfortable throwing big bucks.

For those who have lot of money or ones who are even fine if they happen to lose money should only be trying out this large roller spin, else just in anticipation of making big if played such big and lose it then there is no looking back as you have lost your big bucks which would be big thing for you. So, it is vital for people to gamble based on their risks taking ability and not as per others.
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin do you trust, BNB or ETH? on: October 04, 2020, 04:54:54 PM
I trust both coins to invest, but if I have to choose between them, my choice would be ethereum since like the kucoin exchange, the binance can also be hacked, and then bnb turns into trash.  Shocked

I have invested in both of this coins and ETH is like the lead of the altcoins. BNB in last couple of years have being a good investment and on dips at times I invest in these coins as they are favorite for many of them and demand for such coins keep rising and this leads to rise in price as well.
45  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin over $10,000 for the past 66 days on: October 04, 2020, 12:51:18 PM
Bitcoin has been above $10,000 since July 27 and attracts more young investors and crypto enthusiast. Will BTC ever drop under $10,000 ever again.
Well, nobody can tell at the moment because the Bitcoin market hasn't been growing positive due to series of issues in the community. Currently we have been around $10.8k and below but the issue here is, the market might go down because Bitcoin is finding it very much difficult to cross the $10.8k. So, logically the price of Bitcoin can't be said because its not a stablecoin and at that, it's a volatile coin, bitcoin can either go up or down anytime without our consent.

There has being some drop in the price and back to 10600$ now. It is not finding the resistance above it seems and may be first target will be crossing the 11k mark and then 12k would be the next big huddle. Expecting this year end to close above 12k atleast and if that happens will be a good boost for all of us.

46  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anyone know a dice game that is actually fair? on: October 04, 2020, 08:05:47 AM
This is the reason why casinos survive in business, they have house edge on their side. You can't expect anything much from dice game. Most reputable casinos here has their provably fair tab if you want to check the fairness of their game. But even if they have this provable fairness, don't expect that your chance of winning is high because it's not. This is luck-based game so it really depends on your luck to win this game.
Well, it's obvious at start that a casino is a business and it makes the owner richer than the gambler. Casino's have tricks on their sleeves and it will be always a business model. We shouldn't expect that we will have winnings because it's always 50-50 and the worst case scenario is you will lose a lot of money. It will be one-sided even if you win a huge pot, there's a percentage of it goes into the owner. All of those earnings and salary of the workers are from the gamblers, that's why some casino house have many luxuries item and display because they're earning hundred thousands per month.
I agree that casinos are businesses for owners that make their owners richer and all the games are organized in such a way that gamblers lose more than they win, because casinos have to pay workers, taxes, electricity, buildings and much more to pay.
and all of that from losing gamblers, and if you don't want to accept losing, then you have to stop when you're in a winning position and don't be tempted or ambitious to keep on playing that will lose everything in the end.

Indeed, they will and have to make money because they are here not to do any free kind of service. So, they have house edge as well and good thing for casinos owner is since people easily get addicted as it involves money so in longer term it helps them to make money for them. For those it is beneficial who have amazing time while playing games rather than worrying much about the profit/loss from it.

I am betting frequently, roller coaster ride so losing some and winning some.
Did you have any stake in this match?
No, i didn't.

Was running errands all day long and i had no idea that we had 2 games today (Day-Eve), noticed @glowing10 post in the T-20 thread at the right time and picked the option 15mins before the game kick in.

Haha I saved you bro and hoping that you made some points of that game. Today, as well we have 2 matches. I am yet to open the points table for this round and sitting on the duck currently Sad
Having some good high scoring matches this days and good to see some individual performances as well.

I used to be a high roller in start when I was new to gambling and started liking it or was getting attracted with the games, casinos etc. Later on, due to some reasons slowly then limited myself and now can say I am more a low roller but still enjoy the games and have a pretty good time in it.
50  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: October 03, 2020, 05:39:54 AM
Sometimes on weekend I do feel that it was fun to watch when we had 2 matches a day and now it is just 1 match per day even on weekend. Do you miss that or does not matter due to lack of time or some other reason and happy with the single match itself? If suppose there was an option available 1 match or 2 match on weekend what would you all prefer?

Congrats Vishnu for being leading second in a row. Never thought I would also be sharing the same points with you just missed else would have made it to the top Wink

Its matter of 1 game, I feel where somebody picks two points and suddenly, they will be up in their ranks very quickly. Two rounds are done and 6 more to go.

Btw, with 3 wins and 4 points, I also in for this round Grin Maybe they'll both lose this round
Something wrong with the superbru engine. For eaLiTy and glowing10 sometimes it is showing 5 points and sometimes 3 points in the round list. See now:

Its strange the ways it keeps changing the points table, but now I am seeing 5 points for myself and now we have 4 participants sharing same points and should be some exciting days before the final points for this round will be up and will know the top of the leaderboard. This is just second round and in coming time it will be more tough competition.
54  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports betting: how much knowledge is too much on: September 30, 2020, 10:23:36 AM
Knowledge is everything but with gambling, luck would always had the part for you to succeed.

5% luck, 95%, that's the right combination to succeed, I put a very little percentage on the luck since it's not really something we can consistently have, everyone has luck, and since sports betting is just betting against each other, other people can be lucky also but with knowledge you have the edge to win in the long run.

Ofcourse. I don't know how reliable your 5%/95% is, but I agree that knowledge is important. A bettor who depends on luck could be defeated by very experienced/knowledgeable and skilled bettor. And such experience bettor would likely win consistently and be profitable if he/she bet mostly with bettors who depend on luck in skill-based games/competitions

Knowledge in sports is important as it gives you an idea of what are the chances of a team wining and who is their opponent. This give you a fair judgement if the match could be one sided or will be tough and based on the form which player is likely to perform better etc and accordingly we can place the bets. Though it does not guarantee it will happen the same way but will have a better view rather than having no knowledge at all about it.
55  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trying to share wisdom on: September 30, 2020, 07:55:50 AM
I find this forum a very good medium as well to trade. For those who has being part of this forum for couple of years would know some of the trustworthy members and would have made friends as well across forum or in their local section. So, it becomes easy to trade as trust is build or can use escrow service here and the trade is done rather than using exchanges which requires your KYC or so.

I felt so sad seeing Kishan get out like that.
Otherwise, Mumbai would win, I would lose point, Vishnu would be standing at 11 points with being topper as always  Cheesy Kidding, it was really sad to see uim getting out at 99. He had nothing to do but looking for big shots at that moment.
Whom are you picking tonights? SRH vs DC. I'm confused more after watching the dramatic matches within last few days.

Feeling sad for Ishan he worked hard and batted so well to reach those superb innings and, in the end, just felt short of his century in this IPL. It really would have been so good if he could have reached century and probably this would have helped them to win the match as well. But in the end, it was RCB's day to win it and they did well in the end
58  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: All your entertainment things must have an external limiting feature, agree? on: September 29, 2020, 07:36:59 AM
Even if we all speak out, create a petition, I see no reason for casinos to listen to us. They make money, why should they think about the mental health of their clients? The worse it is, the more money the casino gets.
In addition, no one forces people to become addicted, we do it ourselves. Our health, including mental health, is our responsibility, there is no point in asking third parties to help us be healthy.
We either do what is necessary to be so or we do not.

Casinos will have nothing to do in this because they run, they’re as a business and not as a medical help and if people who do not know or understand about it then nothing can be done about it. For young I can understand they are quite innocent and may not know the difference between right and wrong or its addiction. But what about adult who is very much matured but still can’t stay without gambling inspite of knowing every risk involved if do not remain in control and still we see people becoming addicted to it.
59  Economy / Speculation / Re: I will not sell under 20.000$ ! Why you do ? on: September 28, 2020, 02:03:01 PM
It all depends on circumstances, you might sell lower and catch up elsewhere. Those who bought over 19k close to 3 years now could have recouped their investment if they sold when the market moved against them and repurchase back at $3200. The margin is too wide.

For now, do not require money so holding is the best option and market have slightly picked up and reached 10900$ and soon we may see it nearing 12k levels too. Wishing that it reaches sooner and keep rising and by year end atleast be near that 15k price mark. This will help many holders who had being waiting for this rise to happen.
60  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏏🏏 sportbet.one 🏏🏏 [IPL 2020] Prediction pool and discussion 🏏🏏 on: September 28, 2020, 09:25:09 AM
IPL is way too unpredictable. Biggest highlights for me were the insane Pooran save(The best save I have ever seen in Cricket), Rahul destroying Cottrell(This was the perfect time for Cottrell to do his signature salute stance) and Samson going beast mode.

Who would have expected RR to chase down a mammoth total like 223 with 3 freaking balls to spare? The commentators themselves lost it.

Entertainment wise, IPL is King. Betting wise, IPL can screw you in all the wrong ways.

Mayank would feel sad that his century dint helped the team to win the match. Tewatia would remember this knock for a long while because he just changed the game from poor start to the great finish. What a knock again by Sanju Samson in consecutive matches hitting half century and his brilliance batting continues to dominate. It was a superb match yesterday and in the end Archer two sixes sealed the match for RR.
