41  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin is a religion on: December 02, 2018, 02:44:30 PM
Read the Bitcoin "investors" in this forum and you always see them say the same: "I believe..."

- I believe Bitcoin will go up
- I believe HODL is good
- I believe we will see adoption
- I believe it will go to the moon

and so and...and so on.... and so on

You have no understanding - only belief

Therefore Bitcoin for many people in here is a religion - it is about belief and not about facts and understanding

And religion is an extremely poor investment strategy
42  Economy / Speculation / "Buy the dip" is only a strategy for losers on: December 02, 2018, 02:39:39 PM
We see it every time Bitcoin goes to a new lower level.

Bitcoin "believers" will hurry to say "buy the dip" and "just wait it will come back"

Reality is that every dip is a new lower level - and after that comes another dip...and another.

In the beginning of 2017 very few people had Bitcoin - and therefore the price could quickly move up as a large number of people with zero financial understanding started buying Bitcoin.

Now a large number of people with zero understanding has Bitcoin and price moves down - there are no more new fools to get into Bitcoin to ever pump it again.

"Buy the dip" is something only fools believe - and as can be seen in here there are unfortunately many fools in here who do not understand that their money is already lost
43  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Peak get lower and lower, and dips get worse on: December 02, 2018, 02:35:59 PM
ETF or no ETF I don't think bitcoin would die easily ,there are many reasons why bitcoin is still strong and stable at 6000plus ,so far for this year I have seen only stability of bitcoin
Why people are thinking about bitcoin's death? don't sum up that its going to be easy for a well established coin and investment to be brought down quickly.

$6,000 isn't a bad price and we've been stably sitting here so no need to panic and think about its death.

And then - again ! - we go to a new and lower level
44  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you did not listen before, now is last chance to reduce your loss on: December 02, 2018, 02:34:13 PM
If someone had listen to you right now then maybe they had a lot of loss right now. If they believe on you then probably they are misleading now with their investment. And this is not helpful among other members scaring them away.

You are completely wrong.

The people who listened to me would have sold at 7200 USD.

People who believed in "HODL" is now worth only 4000 USD.
45  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin research, need your help! on: November 30, 2018, 01:56:12 PM

Do a paper on what is called "The Greater Fool Theory" and show why this is a perfect model for understanding Bitcoin

Thanks for letting me know. I will look into it.

This is a thesis for my Bachelor's degree for some of you who asked earlier.

You're welcome. You can also look at it from the perspective of Dunning-Kruger
46  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin for the people or for the corporations? on: November 30, 2018, 01:54:39 PM
Unfortunately, our world is designed in such a way that the strong and the rich get everything.
Yes, Bitcoin was created for people (as we assume). But when the rich realized that it was possible to earn excellent money (at the expense of ordinary people), then Bitcoin turned into a means of manipulation.
Now the situation is such that the market is controlled by corporations, they are whales, and ordinary people are forced to simply adapt to their games.

Bullshit.

Bitcoiners in here were too stupid to see Bitcoin for the scam that it is, and now they have lost most of their money to the early Bitcoin scammers
47  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Destroyed me at all. on: November 30, 2018, 01:21:42 PM
bitcoin price is normal right now, and i think that bitcoin is the good digital currency that will booming in the future, when the price is down, there are many people that cut loss heir asset and investment, i think they will regret their move in the future, when the price of bitcoin is in the high position and reach all time high price

- That is also what people said when it dropped from 20.000 to 16.000
- That is also what people said when it dropped from 16.000 to 12.000
- That is also what people said when it dropped from 12.000 to 10.000
- That is also what people said when it dropped from 10.000 to 8.000
- That is also what people said when it dropped from 8.000 to 6.000

...you must really be a slow learner.....
48  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Describe what is bitcoin for a 7 year old kid in few words on: November 30, 2018, 01:17:39 PM
Hi there
What's the most simple way to describe what bitcoin is for people?
Will be cool to read in the comments some new creative ways to do that! Grin

Bitcoin is a way for clever people to get money from stupid people by telling the stupid people it is an "investment"
49  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin research, need your help! on: November 30, 2018, 12:58:02 PM

Hey are you publishing your own paper or is this some college research anyway I will try my best to answer these questions. 1) The main reason for me was the interesting technology behind it, also it being decentralised currency also had a role. 2) I use it for diversifying my savings, also use it for payments of various stuff. 3) I believe bitcoins adoption shall rise, and so shall it's prices in the long run. 4) I don't fear anyone, I don't let the short term fluctuations effect me I hodl it for the long term.

I am working on a thesis on bitcoin, but my supervisor said the topic is too broad. My original topic was "will bitcoin replace fiat money?". Do you have any suggestions on what topics to pursue?

50  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Destroyed me at all. on: November 30, 2018, 12:53:26 PM
Remember the past. How much could get those people who bought bitcoin a long time ago and kept at this point. You just have to wait. Don't worry, your investment is reliable.

Did you also buy shares in Myspace when they had hundreds of millions of users? And then tell people that Facebook was not a threat and that theu should just HODL thei Myspace shares because facebook was a shit-site?

History is filled with investments which went up in a bubble, collapsed and never came back.
51  Economy / Speculation / Re: HODL'ers lose. That is no surprise on: November 30, 2018, 12:51:17 PM
Wow,lots of hatred about bitcoin and the crypto world.OP,did you lost any money due to the crypto price crash?Let me tell you something.Hodlers lose only if they decide to sell at a price that is lower than the price they have bought btc.If some guy had bought bitcoins at 200 USD back in 2014 and he is still holding,he can sell those btc at a big profit, even if the bitcoin price crashes to 2K USD.

Most people in here are naive fools who bought when the hype was strong - stupidly believeing about going to the moon and getting rich quick.

Most people who bought at 200 USD in 2014 have already sold a large part of that to the fools at rates much much higher and have a comfortable life with their fiat profits paid for by the suckers who are still Bitcoin believers in here
52  Economy / Speculation / Re: HODL'ers lose. That is no surprise on: November 30, 2018, 12:28:38 PM
So what's blockchain technology without bitcoin and cryptocurrency.  There has been no time that prices went up without it going down as such that is happening now.  Good coins will recover and never die.  This will really be a test of value and quality such that only good ones will survive this time.  Hodl for your personal reasons,  at the end you won't lose even if price dips.

There are plenty of blockchain solutions and tool which do not use crypto currencies at all.

Blockchain does not need crypto.
53  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Destroyed me at all. on: November 30, 2018, 12:27:24 PM
Few months back i purchased arround 15 to 16 btc when bitcoin price was 10000$ to 11000$ each btc but now arround 4000$ each btc .Just waiting for 11000$ for each btc than i should leave btc and i can see bitcoin have no future in this time.

Sell now and take the large loss. If you wait, Bitcoin will only go lower and your loss will become even bigger.

I warned every one in here many months ago to get the hell out of Bitcoin - but no-one wanted to listen. Now you pay the price for that.
- I think that you should not make him lose faith with crypto and Bitcoin, that just made him make the wrong decision the next time, although in the present time, your predictions and reminder are accurate, the price of the bitcoin really dropped dramatically but you should remember that this market is a series of unexpected events. You can say right today, tomorrow, even the next few weeks but bitcoin has not ended yet, the future of bitcoin is still unclear, sometimes now he is feeling bitcoin destroy his life but in the future, he will feel bitcoin is his best thing, this opportunity can still happen as long as he does not give up and follow your advice

There is nothing unexpected here.

Bitcoin entered into a crazy bubble - as expected a lot of people with zero financial knowledge started to "invest". This predictably led to the bubble bursting - that was expected. The Bitcoin has no real large-scale use in the real world, and therefore prices continue to always drop. That is fully expected. Investors with zero knowledge cry about "FUD" and how Bitcoin is the future, and at the same time their losses just keep getting bigger. All of this is expected.

going into the future the price will continue to drop, and we will see more and more Bitcoiners lose faith - but worse, they will simply lose all their money if they do not get out.
54  Economy / Speculation / Re: People who bought BITCOIN at $1000 are now starting to sell, CCN article writes on: November 30, 2018, 11:37:49 AM
Michael Moro, who is a CEO of a major crypto trading company, talks about how people who bought into Bitcoin at the beginning of 2017 at $1000, are now starting to sell their coins. Is this an indication of massive FUD? Is this the time where we should buy and take advantage of the FUD sellers?

When did you guys first buy Bitcoin, what was the price of BTC and are you going to panic sell now?

Source: https://www.ccn.com/crypto-investors-who-bought-bitcoin-at-1000-are-now-starting-to-sell/

People who bought at 1000$ and sell now are clever. They can still get a profit. The longer they wait, the lower the price. Bitcoin will never rise again
55  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you did not listen before, now is last chance to reduce your loss on: November 30, 2018, 11:35:36 AM
Wrong. Now is the time to either hodl or buy more. Why would you sell at a low? We will be green again soon. Blockchain technology can't be "uninvented".

"Buy when there's blood in the streets, even if the blood is your own."

That is what people said when it dropped to 15000. Then they saw the dip to 12000 as a good buying opportunity as there was blood in the streets. Then people like you said to buy at 10000 because that was cheap. Then people like you in here said to buy at 8000 to be prepared for the upturn. Now you say the same at 6000.....

Go ahead - pursue your dream of the get-rich-quick scheme, what could possibly go wrong.......

So what can you say about the prices now?Sitting a 4000 though it drops couple of days ago to more than $3000,i love to hear whats your comment now?
Lol stop fooling around i know deep inside you is the eagerness of bitcoin price to grow again,or to bring you good profit
Stop spreading Fud stupid because people now are aware of what you wanted to tell then, and its not helping

What do I say now you ask? I say "I told you so" - get the hell out of Bitcoin to limit your loss. When the price drops it is not a good opportunity to buy because the drop will simply continue. It will never get back up again.

"I told you so" comes to mind.

I warned everyone in here again and again in the beginning of 2018.

Get out of Bitcoin as fast as you can to limit your losses.

Everytime so-called "experts" and "investors" in here said to HODL. Bitcoin would soon go to the moon.

Only the most blind and stupid still believe Bitcoin will ever recover.

The sooner you get out, the smaller your loss. If you wait, you can be sure the loss will be even bigger.

Blockchain technology has a great future, but cryptocurrencies - any crypto -  are a dead end.
58  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you did not listen before, now is last chance to reduce your loss on: September 06, 2018, 11:33:38 AM
I told you so - many times in here. It was a bubble, and you should get the hell out of BTC.

The responses in here were mainly hysteric screaming of "FUD".

It is now clear from more and more posts in here that people who came late to the bubble-party are in losses on their Bitcoins. Well, told you so.

This is not the time to HODL. The party is over. Your choice is whether to sell now and take a loss, or wait until you have lost everything.
yes me too i loss a lot of money because of holding and buying  more cryptocurrency  when the date is january and now i loss a lot  and i want to buy a lot of cryptocurrency now becauase i beleive that cryptocurrency will going to rise again.

You really do not learn from experience do you?
59  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you did not listen before, now is last chance to reduce your loss on: September 06, 2018, 05:38:24 AM
This not the time to run out from bitcoin it is the good time to involve here and those who already involved should hold and keep patient.

Yeah right.... the number of gullible "investors" who jump in to "buy the dip" keep getting ripped off...
60  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Peak get lower and lower, and dips get worse on: September 06, 2018, 05:37:07 AM
Peak - 16 Dec: 20.000$

Dip - 30 Dec: 12.600$

Peak - 6 Jan: 17.100$

Dip - 5 Feb: 6.900$

Peak - 4 Mar: 11.500$

Dip - 7 Apr: 6.600$

Peak - 5 May: 9.800$

Dip - 28 Jun: 5.800$

Peak - 24 Jul: 8.400$

Now we are at 6.200 going down to the next even deeper dip

This is the long and slow death of Bitcoin as there are not really anyone new who wants to use it (let's face it, there is no use at all, only "investment"), and as current Bitcoin-believers are slowly becoming fewer and fewer, the price will continue this long slow death-spiral

Things presented like that do not really looks very good. But overall, I think the market will start to rise more than expected. We only have to find out when.  Huh

I does not look good - because it is not good. Simple as that. Just see today, now we are going down again
