How is Presale going on? Is there any info available on how much amount is raised so far?

That's a good question. But since they don't have a softcap that needs to be reached, I don't think it's that important to always know how much has been raised already.

Exactly, mainly by the fact that the development is announced regardless of the amount raised reach the maximum value or something similar. Currently projects that do not require a soft cap to work, gain greater confidence in the course, and deliver something satisfactory to their investors

it basically means that you'll be able to recoup your investment without worry.

I've been watching this project for almost one year now. The team has always been distant from this forum. Is there any platform that the team actually uses for communication?

I think they have a Telegram channel, though I doubt they're too active there either.
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] EHF eHealth First on: December 09, 2018, 04:06:01 PM

Judging by the market situation, it might be better for ICOs to accept fiat investment or at least for them to change it in fiat immediately after the payment.

I concur. Fiat is the only stable coin at the moment. Back in the summer of 2017 ICOs could gamble on a growing market and keep their crypto currencies but these days it is too much of a risk.

The intersting thing is, that now with crypto at the bottom, it should be more rational to take crypto currency because it will go more upwards than fiat in the next years. Smiley
But for the short time and to make sure the project remains capable of action FIAT is probably the more stable choice.

yeah agreed, only thing is, how long is the bear market gonna take? if it takes years, then it's pretty bad for most projects.

The crypto market is imploding. With all due respect, how about continuing research and developing a product instead of doing talks for a handful of people? There might not be a market left in a few weeks.

I don't think the market is coming to an end, is just readjusting as it naturally happen. It will rise from the ashes as a Phoenix, don't be afraid.  Kiss

Some projects will, most won't!

that's why it's important to properly invest. right now is a great opportunity to come into the market, when prices are low.

in the current market situation there are many projects delaying or stopping the sale of tokens, even worse it has returned investors funds (when the value has decreased). so what about you, if the minimum target is not reached?

They actually don't have a softcap which means they will continue with the project no matter how much they raise.

Yeah, they are developing their exchange for a quite some time now already. Considering the current market situation it's great that they don't rely on reaching a softcap.

ETC just recently shut down due to lack of funds. I'm relieved they don't rely on contributions

I wonder if coinmarketcap would include live pairs for crypto/stoks on their website and would include it in their daily trade volume.

Interesting thought indeed. I think they could do it as stocks are relatively stable compared to crypto. They could even add the USD value of the stock.

they'll add it if it's popular enough. just like every other token.

I also can't stop being worried.

Right now every miners losing money cause value is lower than cost. And if they stop mining, what will happen to market?

people mine now for the promise of future income. I'd advise that you wait for it to bottom and start buying. that's what I wanna do.

Yes, this year is rapidly coming to an end, it would be good to have an update on the situation the mvp is at the moment. Last update in general have been in a while as well.

What kind of MVP are we talking about? I cannot even remember what they were trying to create to be honest. Maybe I have become demented. I could really use some brain rejuvenation right now.

I hope something we can see and understand their vision. But about the details, we didn't hear so much. If we did, i missed it.

Would be nice if we got something before the new year.
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] EHF eHealth First on: December 05, 2018, 10:12:16 AM

I hope they wont postpone their ICO to any further dates if the situation with crypto doesn't get better yet. Who know, maybe 2019 will be the last years for ICOs as we know it.

It could be. If security tokens become a hit then nobody wants to invest in utility tokens anymore.

Still depend from what is the utility, if they would be accepted in this case to pay for a visit of a doctor, people would use them. Beside that in here seems to be clear how they will fit in the platform economy.

if the utility tokens are useful and popular then people will invest either way.

Even more important probably. There are more of us and we like "easy" money

I dont think being part of the test net would bring any monetary reward, would be just for trying and testing it

the reward would be knowledge that it works properly so you invest into something safe.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][TGE] Jarvis - Hybrid exchange | Decentralized hub | Token with revenue on: December 05, 2018, 10:10:19 AM
First of all I will suggest to keep the thread clean from reporting posts those bounty related as they distract the attention from ongoing discussion. Second I see people are talking about coinmarketcap as standard that's true it isn't ultimate place to valuate markets. It was first what saw popularity but will not be last as there already have started to be developed more modern tools based similar platforms. If Jarvis delivers it can make place among good exchanges in this space flexibility of growing exists for quality exchanges.

agreed, but you have to keep in mind that coinmarketcap is still the most popular tool people use. shouldn't be ignored.
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][TGE] Jarvis - Hybrid exchange | Decentralized hub | Token with revenue on: December 03, 2018, 01:50:41 PM
Almost all ICO raises there price on the main sale so that early investors can have an incentives but it will also cause a dump in price if the value is to high.
But now what happen is the opposite. Unfortunately common people aren't seeing the main sale as attractive as last year anymore, especially with knowing that they will get the highest price.
But hopefully the market will reverse later and Jarvis will get a nice timing to conduct an ICO.

you can't predict these things and ICO's have to give incentives for early adopters.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Private-sale] |DUSK Network| Security tokens, privatechain, Bitfinex! on: December 03, 2018, 01:48:15 PM

So Ethfinex is "stuck" with whatever is not sold? Hope they really believe in the project and don't sell their bags

The team in here could clarify this point actually, i think they could reserve the right to sell them directly in another round at a higher price.

I agree, because they may also choose to dump their reserves thus crashing the price.
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] EHF eHealth First on: December 03, 2018, 01:46:57 PM
I suppose next year will be a good time to run an ICO, so basically this project could perform well in it specially when the next bullish market begins. I also hope we will see some relevant development updates also in 2019.

Fortunately, ehealth is a long term project so there is plenty of time to wait for the bullish to happen again. Yes we wish there will be more good news in 2019 both from cryptos and from ehealth itself.

I agree. I was also thinking it is a blessing in disguise for this project to have a longer than expected roadmap thereby making it less affected by the current bearish market.

plus they've already raised more than half their softcap. so that's good.

Did they disclose how much exactly they raised in pre ICO 1 stage? If they will release MVP before ICO that would be still good even thou they had to postpone its release.

Yeah, it was 1.2m $ if I recalling correctly.

And it is also %60 of their soft cap.

That's pretty good. they probably will reach their softcap and hte project will go on.
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Private-sale] |DUSK Network| Security tokens, privatechain, Bitfinex! on: November 30, 2018, 10:24:35 AM
The idea with crypto however would be to use it directly to pay without passing to fiat. If you go back in fiat you cannot expect to just fill your account with undeclared cash.

yep, that's the problem crypto was created to solve. the idea that you have to declare your income is anti-freedom.
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][TGE] Jarvis - Hybrid exchange | Decentralized hub | Token with revenue on: November 30, 2018, 10:12:49 AM

Sorry but I expect every start up to come up with an accurate business plan, doesn't make sense when you say "you can't really know the development consts"

Of course, a reputable project should have a business plan where they calculate the costs and adjust their funding target according to this number. But, lets be honest. Last year projects had the motto 'the more, the better'.

thing is, you can have the best business plan on the market, but you still can't account for everything and put a damper on your development.
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ICO - EIPlatform. Esports Interactive Platform on: November 28, 2018, 12:58:07 PM
the proposed bonus is really big ,only a few ico offer 100% bonus, but I do not know if in the long run is a good thing, the next stages of ico could be undertone and i think that at the end of ico there will be an inevitable dump of the token price...

In the long run 100% bonus is just bad, it's only good when the tokens or coins get locked up for more than a year.
Then it would be a good thing to give a big bonus, else those investors will dump on the later investors and crash the price..

I too feel there should be some locking system for the 100% bonus buyers. Otherwise the consequences when the token starts trading will be horrific for all the investors.
Another suggestion would be putting a minimum investment barrier for these 100% bonus buyers.

but it also means you have to plan for the long run to get the most out of your tokens.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][TGE] Jarvis - Hybrid exchange | Decentralized hub | Token with revenue on: November 28, 2018, 12:56:40 PM
perhaps with these market conditions a real-time counter would not be the most appropriate move, but not even the total absence of data on fundraising, do we say a compromise like a weekly updated counter?...

Due to price fluctuation, it is impossible to guess how much money they raised and due to the price of ETH they the raised amount will be getting lower in the market. So it is good to wait until the company gave an update about it.

Price fluctuation is there only if we tend to count in USD. If the count is in ETH or BTC it won't change a thing.

yeah but if the team needs USD it will matter a lot. especially if we're on a downward spiral.
