41  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin go under regulation on: June 03, 2018, 11:32:45 AM
Bitcoin is under regulation. It's an online money, this won't be changed. Bitcoin will never turn into fiat money. It will always be the first crypto coin... etc etc etc. These are also can be called regulations. But no, it cannot be regulated by the government. Let me clear things up a little. Take torrent for example. It's clearly a piracy. But the torrent is not regulated, but the use of torrent is regulated in different countries. There are many countries where piracy is some what legal. Torrent is 100% legal there. Take Bangladesh for example where Torrent and the use of torrent is legal and any involvement with Bitcoins is illegal.
42  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your attitude to this? on: June 02, 2018, 06:50:14 PM
Bitcoin and Altcoins were never rival. They goes along with each other. God knows why people are taking side. Any crypto coin user with a little common sense can understand that getting involve with Bitcoins and some Altcoins would be the best thing to do in crypto currency. They both have disadvantages and demerits. But still these are these, you need to do the adjustment.
43  Economy / Economics / Re: Reason we pay taxes and why we should on: June 02, 2018, 06:36:56 PM
If you are happy with your life, the government make sure you stay happy all your life. If you are not satisfied with your life, then the government is the only thing that keeps you safe from more frustration. The government provide you many things on your daily life, and you don't even count them. They are doing a service (fairly or unfairly) and that is why everybody needs to pay taxes.
44  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin on movies on: May 31, 2018, 07:39:12 PM
Someone needs to come forward and convince the film industry to put a good image of Bitcoins and crypto currency in the big screen. I've seen a movie named "Thank you for smoking (2005)". The movie shows a hint how cigarettes were highlighted by putting it in the celebrity's hand. A film or a bunch of films can make a good impression on Blockchain technology.
45  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Government and Bitcoin on: May 30, 2018, 07:17:34 PM
Because it's still new. And actually a solid percentage of bitcoin users still don't 'trust' bitcoin.
Totally agree. Not even the bitcoin users trust Bitcoins. The banks hate BTC from every aspects. And the government have a good and healthy relationship with the banks. No wonder many governments don't trust the Bitcoin or crypto coins or the blockchain technology.
46  Economy / Economics / Re: Should we teach children to have businessman mentality or be successful employee on: May 30, 2018, 07:03:47 AM
I don't think you need to chose between these two. You can teach you both to your children. You don't have to teach them as if they are going to be a business man or an employee the next morning, you need to give them ideas regularly. The Chinese are doing a great job on this part. Although they are doing this so that their children can take care of their family business, but I believe this is good for a child's future as well.
47  Other / Off-topic / Re: Who is the most powerful man in the world? on: May 30, 2018, 06:57:17 AM
A man who can win an argument with is wise and still able to maintain a happy family and a healthy marriage, is THE most powerful man in the world
48  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Bitcoin is soaring? on: May 27, 2018, 07:53:40 PM
It has become the nature of Bitcoins. Not only bitcoins but also the Altcoins as well. The entire crypto market has become like this. Honestly, this sudden fall was really unexpected. I haven't got a clear idea about the reason behind this recent fall. And sadly we don't know how long it's going to take to recover.
49  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin mining geography on: May 25, 2018, 07:31:58 PM
Don't you think a life in Antarctica would be very expensive? You can't live there normally. You have to spend a whole lot of money to live there and do your mining. But, wherever the internet cost, utility cost are low and the mining equipment are less expensive, AND the living cost is low for a person, that would be the best place for THAT person for mining.
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Country backed coins, a good idea? on: May 23, 2018, 10:00:23 AM
I don't think so. The idea of crypto coins is to be decentralized. Centralizing it by a particular region would not be a good idea. I think crypto coins are meant tp be world wide. Just naming them for a country would not make it easy to accept through out the world.
51  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a good idea? on: May 22, 2018, 04:00:26 PM
I find it hard to believe cause there were plenty if signs through out this year that the price or value of the BTC will keep heading up. But fortunately or unfortunately, nothing of this sort had happened. The price went down drastically from 14K, and now this is not going up any more. And it's not even stable either. The idea of Bitcoin or blockchain or decentralized crypto currency is certainly a good idea,, a great idea I would say. But I think there should be something we can do with this money.
52  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best country for crypto on: May 21, 2018, 06:52:21 PM
How come a country can be better for crypto? Crypto currency is meant to be decentralized. A countries policy! I mean their economical policy and facilities are friendly for the crypto users, is that what you meant by "Best country for cypto"?
53  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hello crypto! Bye bye credits? on: May 20, 2018, 11:59:26 AM
Banking system might get changed but the need and crave for loan or credit will never be banished. They will remain as long as there is human in this earth. But loaning is not very simple in terms of crypto. Not only BTC, but most likely all the alt coins are unstable. So, loaning in a unstable currency is not something that you get often. Currently, Bitcoin is used as an investment, and I've never heard of investment being loaned.
54  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin value on: May 19, 2018, 06:35:16 PM
He can't be more right about it. The value of different things are different from person to person. After eating 5 ice cream, another ice cream would have a lesser valuable to me than to you (if that is your first one). Only a currency have the same value for everyone (in a particular region). Bitcoin is something you have but you don't possess. If you have a lot of BTC then you are rich to a person who believes in crypto currency. But you are nothing to a person who thinks Bitcoin is a joke.
55  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What strategy to follow before investing in BTC? on: May 19, 2018, 06:21:57 PM
This is no safety percentage in investing in Bitcoins. The risk you are going to have to face is the amount you are going to invest in Bitcoin. The more you invest the more risky it become. At the same time the profit will also increase along with your investment. And strategy depends on your strength. It's up to you and your condition which lead you to your way of investment. You could go for short term or long term trading, or mining, or bounty hunt... You have to decide.
56  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This guy has lost 103 Bitcoins on: May 17, 2018, 07:22:12 PM
How long since he gave up on it? Since he used to mine in 2011 he was approximately familiar with Bitcoin since it was born. I believe the price or value of the bitcoin wasn't that much compared to the price now. But still, that's a lot of money right now. In a way, I feel happy cause it indicates how safe Bitcoin is. Nobody was able to stole these money.
57  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: i read news from indonesia on: May 16, 2018, 08:00:28 PM
Bank Indonesia is just saying that. They are making a statement, they are trying to make people aware of Cryptocurrency world. They are not banning anything. Clearly they are afraid of this Crypto world and they are doing the best they can do. What they are saying is true is a way but not what they are trying to prove is true. Yes, we all would agree that the crypto market is very unstable. But that doesn't mean that we should avoid getting in touch with it. I think our participation can make these currencies more stable.
58  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you smoke weed? on: May 16, 2018, 07:54:00 PM
I don't and I didn't smoke any weed in my whole life. It's not that I think of it as some kind of crime but I just don't like the smell of this thing. Weed or ganja is not really my thing. But I've been to some places where everyone other than me were smoking it. Matter of fact, a weed lover is sleeping next to me right at this very moment.
59  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to get merit? on: May 16, 2018, 07:50:17 PM
Besides increasing the activity we also have to gain merit because in bitcointalk achieving merit is very much important.

What will help us to get the merit?

Share your opinion to help each other.
Thank you.
You need to improve your post quality. Read the rules, help the community, make conversations, input your thoughts, be friendly with the community, show them that you are hear for good cause.

I'm hoping that this system will increase post quality by:
 - Forcing people to post high-quality stuff in order to rank up. If you just post garbage, you will never get even 1 merit point, and you will therefore never be able to put links in your signature, etc.
 - Highlighting good posts with the "Merited by" line.

While we will not be directly moderating this, I encourage people to give merit to posts that are objectively high-quality, not just posts that you agree with.

Do not beg for merit excessively.

I've been trying to help the others and be friendly with the community ever since I jointed this forum. I try my best to be regular here. And still I'm pretty sad that I still lack from some merits. And I'm not giving up the hope any time soon. I have my confidence that people judge me as a friendly person. And they will share some merits with me.
60  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why so many Bitcoin users have fear of governments? on: May 13, 2018, 06:23:24 PM
I think it's fair. China was a big source of crypto users. But suddenly China banned Bitcoins in there. Facebook is the biggest market place now. Facebook already blocked crypto currency with ICO issue. Although some countries has shown appreciation but still I think it's fair to have some fear of government. Cause a whole bunch of people always try to stay out of illegal things.
