41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What kind of Altcoins have a future? on: December 03, 2020, 12:58:43 PM
I will always advise people to stick to Bitcoin, ethereum, XRP or the top 10 cryptos in the coinmarket cap. others are just gambling. If you are good in trading, you can utilize your skills in holding the rest altcoins. Knowing when to buy and when to sell to avoid loosing your funds. currently, this is a bull market and it is not advisable for people to invest in any altcoins Now.

Choosing top 10 coins on Coinmarketcap will reduce risk of losing money to scams, but it's no guarantee for sure long term profit. When you wrote "others are just gambling", I guess not. Reason being that some coins in the past which were among top ten are no longer top ten, others replaced them and the cycle continues. Crypto investment generally involves risk, so choosing a few altcoins after proper research to invest in is not a bad idea entirely, just be cautious of risk management.
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH 2.0 is LIVE!! on: December 02, 2020, 10:53:50 PM
please guys ... stop calling the start of the beacon chain ETH 2.0
The start of the Beacon chain is simply one of the milestones on the way to ETH2.0
There is still a need for sharding (phase 1) and the migration of accounts and smart contracts (phase 2).

I really like this enlightening, many ain't aware of this. Most people think ETH 2.0 is only about this staking aspect, many more milestones to be achieved. I hope to see some aspects like reduction of fees and faster transactions come to lime light. I'm holding ETH for extremely long term, I hope I'm right at the end.
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin pump and dumps ! on: December 02, 2020, 07:23:09 PM
this is pure speculation and an attempt by the first to make money on the rest how can you treat this well?
I consider that this is just mmm and to expect that you will earn on this, it will cost yourself in the first place more expensive.

I pity those who follow pump and dump channels on telegram and discord. A friend of mine followed a pump channel on telegram for paid pump signals, they normally send alerts when they will pump a given coin. He staked small on his first attempt and it worked for him, even though some other guys got caught up when the dump came. However, he got greedy and used big funds to buy the next pump coin, but to his greatest dismay, the dip came almost immediately after he bought. It's more like gambling with your funds, the gains are not certain.
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The use of stable coins or no? on: December 01, 2020, 09:56:00 PM
actually i think stablecoin is the great things in cryptomarket. it's useful as an alternative of fiat money and i'm actively research interesting  stablecoin projects and defi to invest

You research on stablecoin to invest in? I'm still trying to comprehend what you mean by that. Stablecoins for sure are very necessary, traders mostly use them to lock profit when the market is unstable. For me especially, when trading altcoins, I prefer USDT pair so that when my sell target fills or stop loss hits, the funds will be in USDT which is not volatile compared to other alts.
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP price Hit $0.9, suddenly goes down in second on: December 01, 2020, 05:49:50 PM
I sold XRP at the ATH price in November, but I had no luck with the buyback during the correction because it had not yet reached the predetermined buyback target. I applied for short trades because it will give you many times more profit than you hold for now, but I have to consider correction targets for buying back.

At least you sold at ATH, the most important thing is making profit. Sometimes not entering a trade position is also a wise decision, if for instance you did not get in again because it didn't go to your desired buy entry level, then its OK. Personally I don't force trades, even though I made some profit swinging XRP.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BCHA go to the moom 2021 on: December 01, 2020, 01:32:40 PM
The current price for BCHA on Binance is around 15$+ and it's not a bad entry in my opinion. But honestly I'm yet to see reasons why I should hold BCHA long term development-wise, even though for the fact that it's a BCH fork, then it's worth holding. However, I'm still considering if I'll add BCHA to my portfolio for long term, could be a future gem.
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you find out about new projects? on: November 30, 2020, 10:16:32 PM
You wanna checkout altcoin part of this forum where you'll discover what you're searching for. There are sites that may assist you with picking a project yet you have to investigate their announcement thread and see what sort of reaction they are getting, add their social media performance of twitter

I check altcoins section on this forum to get updates on new projects which is very helpful. I also check icodrops for new project updates, and turn on their Twitter notifications. It's good to see people's reactions on new project social handles and threads, but some comments can be misleading. Some reviews from people's comments and by ico rating sites are paid, so when doing research it's unwise to take decisions solely based on such ratings.
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whats your thought about New projects? on: November 30, 2020, 08:18:19 PM
My take is, everybody should be extremely careful this period regarding new project as scammers are everywhere couples with the fact this is season. We really need to be very careful and vigilant to afford entering wrong boat called presale or uniswap already listed projects. Many have already lost alit through this medium and would be sad to see more loose.

This is absolutely correct, most new projects nowadays are scam. Investors need to be extremely careful since these scammers have studied the crypto market and know how to go about a successful token sale. Imagine some projects doing fake KYC with Lidprotocol and doing their token sale there, or using Bounce Finance to organize ICO. Some go as far as paying influencers to create hype around the project, luring in unsuspecting gullible investors who get scammed at the end. However, there are few new projects which do extremely well, it's now left for investors to do proper research and hope luck shines on them.
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tron for 3x. Here is my logic on: November 30, 2020, 07:09:22 PM
tron' supply is 71,659,657,369
you say 3x it means that trons will be $0.1 dollar. and marketcap of tron will rise to 5th biggest coin after tether.

it is impossible.

Nothing is impossible in crypto, it's extremely difficult for TRX to attain that price but don't say it's impossible. Same way many talked about LEND wayback, now AAVE but when it did about 50x, everyone who talked negative was dumbfounded. It's always a matter of patience, I'm not holding TRX at the moment but it's one of the coins with good prospects from all indications.
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stable coins for bounty hunters on: November 29, 2020, 10:57:32 PM
It'll be good if that happened.but reality & imagination both are difficult thing.i don't think that possibilities to happened as they are here because of earn money.created tokens & sell those in market is hard task to make money.so they neglect bounty hunters & focus only on tokensale.instead they would try theirs best, offering hunters to give the reward via token, to avoid loss. Some projects at first promise to pay hunter's reward via BTC, USDT, ETH but most of them got scam at the end

Some bounties in the past paid in USDT, I remember Probit bounty they paid 100,000 USDT to hunters instead of their exchange tokens. I think this curbs the blames put on hunters for dumping tokens, even though sometime its not necessarily hunters fault entirely. In essence, it's very possible for campaign rewards to be paid in stable coins, atleast the value remains same as stated and no one is cheated.
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You can't always hit the right target on: November 29, 2020, 05:25:47 PM
Not only about bounty hunting, also in real life. You can't always get it right. In as much as you don't the end from the beginning, the end is only a probability until it happens. We just to be lucky.

This makes sense 👍 In real life you can't be perfect, when you set goals you can't meet all goals always. So it's not a matter of bounties or trading or any other related crypto activities. Sometimes you see a project with hype and join their campaign or buy in, at the end it turns to failure. As a crypto enthusiast who understands its never a win win situation all the time, we move on after failures.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto market is plunging on: November 29, 2020, 05:04:02 PM
Fast forward 3 days later now it's up again. It's a market correction and that happens frequently with the market that's bullish or after experiencing the pump. Now that the market correction has happened I only expect the market to go far up
since our bitcoin has long been stagnant and stuck at the same price level for quite of the time.
Bitcoin retirement plan, paypal adoption and many more. Hopefully those are enough to drive the price up significantly.

Majority of crypto enthusiasts buy into coins only when price start plunging up, and are not always interested to buy when prices are down. I think best strategy is check when a coin retest a good support level and immediately wants to bounce up, rather than buying when prices start rising and if there is a major resistance, prices might fall from there. Everyone is optimistic that this current uptrend will continue, well its a good thing if bullrun continues for BTC, even though right now just few alts are following the uptrend.
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New feature on AltcoinsTalks forum - you can teleport your rank from bitcointalk on: November 28, 2020, 10:48:10 PM
Teleporting rank from Bitcointalk to altcoinstalk has pros and cons as well honestly. The good part is that it makes it easier for bounty managers to easily maintain their rank, hence bringing bounties to altcoinstalk more, the bad side is that it makes people who do not have high rank on bitcointalk but ranked up from scratch on altcoinstalk to feel cheated, since no effort will be made by those who have high ranks on bitcointalk. There should be conditions for such privilege, it shouldn't be open to everyone with no strict rules. Personally I like it, but some people might have reasons not to.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Undervalued Project that will suprised us in the Long Run on: November 28, 2020, 09:11:08 PM
I think the Binance DEBIT card 💳 will be advantageous to the world at large, not only African nations as emphasised by OP. However, I'm not a holder of SXP, even though I traded it for profit couple of times. Its true its a good coin to hold for long term, looking at the product which is massive. I'm considering to hold like 500$ worth for long term, will need to chart it for a good entry point.
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH high gas fee on: November 28, 2020, 06:48:40 PM
Some people suggest that ETH 2.0 will curb the issue of high gas fees, but no one knows precisely, since it wasn't categorically stated by Ethereum founders. Sometimes the high gas fee for ETH is so annoying, and this result to higher fees even when withdrawing ERC20 tokens from exchange. This is the more reason why I usually choose TRC20 token standard when withdrawing USDT, since it has lower fees and even faster transactions. I hope to see a time when Ethereum will be more scalable, with negligible fees.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SHARE YOUR EXPERIENCE on: November 28, 2020, 06:14:59 PM
I make money online mainly from trading, I will say 70% of the funds I make online come from trading. Then the remaining 30% from bounties and community management jobs. When i started trading, I lost a lot of money as a noob especially from futures trading. I had to go back to my roots and followed the "learn to earn" principle, which worked so well for me. I took few months to master Technically analysis thoroughly, and then tried out combination of many signals in confluence, then I got to understand the strategy that works best for me. I'm not usually lucky with token sales, be it ICO, STO or IEO.
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DONT MARRY YOUR ALTCOIN BAGS on: November 27, 2020, 08:44:46 PM
I am totally agree, altcoin is unfit for long term hold, most of them worth nothing are their final result, only a few of altcoins survive eventually. Even if it is on the top 10 of crypto market, price will also fall several times, not like BTC.

This is true, Prices of most altcoins decrease over time, some projects get extinct and just a few are sustainable and stand the test of time. It's normal for prices to fall, but if there is downtrend for a very long period of time, investors lose hope on the project, thereby dumping their tokens. Wise investors take profit from altcoins, even though sometimes taking profit too early leads to regrets.
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Seeking for knowledge on: November 27, 2020, 11:41:30 AM
Hi guys, I have a question for you all about crypto wallet, must a crypto wallet be fully open source to have peace while using them to store large amount of money? And is trust wallet a half baked open source wallet or full open source? Thank you

I'm not sure if trust wallet is full open source, but to store harge amount of crypto assets, it's preferable to use hardware wallets than software (hot) wallets. I  store some of my crypto in trust wallet, but keep a bulk in ledger nano x. I think it's not even advisable to store all coins in just a single wallet, share in 2 or 3 parts if your portfolio is too large, but no need for small portfolios. I'll still do some research on this, to know which crypto wallets are full open source.
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you choose which altcoin will you buy? on: November 26, 2020, 12:54:36 PM
I always check coins in coinmarketcap new listing page. And then I check them one by one. And if I saw any potential project then I add to my waitlist. Check them time by time and if I think the project is worthy investment then I go for that. Now I am into a project called vite and their one more token called vx. I am into it at this moment. And I think they have great potential in upcoming days.

Nice concept to get new projects with potential, I think getting to know about new projects is not enough, but follow up on the projects and then deciding whether to invest or not reduces risk of jumping into outright scam projects. I seldom invest in very new projects, but if I must do, I invest with little funds unless it's a project with already existing product which just introduced tokens like UNI 🦄.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto trends in 2020. How are you making them sweet gainz? on: November 25, 2020, 10:49:57 PM
Honestly I've made more profit this year from Uniswap DEFI projects, even though I mainly swing trade them, not investing long term. Once I do my research, and make sure liquidity is locked for at least a year, team tokens locked and maybe with a scheduled release, team is public, there is a product or MVP (just to mention factors I check), I buy in early and sell in profit. With closed monitoring, I dump my tokens if there is a reasonable FUD to avoid regrets. I made a lot of money from LAYER and recently TRU tokens. I'm not usually lucky getting into Binance IEO /launchpad.
