Hello everyone! Good news!
Over the last couple months we have been working on a lot of new code implementations and bug fixes. Today we are excited to announce the official release for the upcoming hardfork with a lot of tweaks and bug fixes. The fork will take place at block 194,672 or approximately on September 21st, this is a mandatory update so please be sure to upgrade before then to ensure the process goes smoothly.
History of changes: - Implemented Hard Fork 1 fixes
- New fork choice rule
- Implemented a more strict policy for staking
- Implemented locked coins mining support
- Difficulty adjustment function turned into a more smooth way
- Fixed rare deadlock situations in Core and in GUI
- More friendly for basic instructions set for CPU ( hardware __popcnt disabled)
- Fixed bugs with Contract cancelation
- Issues with master password fixed by rewriting entire code related to it
- Added proper monitoring of free hard drive space
- Implemented --deaf parameter for simplewallet, which let’s to have safely running wallet in rpc mode with performing staking(rpc calls ignored)
- Fixed bugs in zlib helper
- Implemented Contact’s feature in GUI
- Fixed RPC API to consider burned coins as returned to emission
- Implemented more debug information, including call stacks in crash dumps for windows
- Fixed potential problems with ethash library
- Added signing of windows builds
- Fixed bug with wallet deactivation on a poor connection, related to PoS mining failures

......... I copied Dedian-9 template to Standalone-VM, and installed BBR in it following instructions from BBR README.md for Unix server version(without GUI). The message also occurred first time i started a daemon, after it downloaded data4.mdb.pak. I have that OS on two machines, same thing
I think it could be related with "-march" option in clang/gcc compiler. If it still makes sense, you can try explicitly configure it with passing ARCH variable, try to pass "-D ARCH=native". Let me know if it worked or not if you find time to try. Mistery solved, neither time i gave it enough head room to unpak downloaded pak So, that message is displayed when it runs out of disk space when bootstraping with mdb.pak mechanism, at least in a virtual machine Ok, got it, created a ticket for it: https://github.com/cryptozoidberg/boolberry/issues/94 Thanks for providing info!

Dear friends! We had stopped coinswap service and updated BBR daemon on STEX and BTC-ALPHA so swap operations won't be possible there any longer. Coinswap is officially over, glad to see every new Zano holder! Congrats!

So how am I supposed to swap boolberry to zano? I downloaded the latest boolberry wallet and it ran for about 3 hours dowloading database or something till it completed and now it is stuck saying "connecting" for more than an hour and says connecting "connections 0", "height 0", "software version --". Nothing is happening.
Hi wixie! Try to remove p2pstate.bin file. Sorry about that issue, this is happening because in p2pstate.bin you have a lot of old nodes that are not online anymore. Actually was thinking about that long time, created a ticket in github: https://github.com/hyle-team/zano/issues/71 Hey, I removed the p2pstate.bin file and the GUI wallet started downloading precompiled database and after completing that started synchronizing but it's really slow and at this rate it's going to take weeks to synchronize even if I left my computer running night and day. Hi, I made a new build with new pre-downloaded blockchain, this should get online in 20-30 minutes after downloaded blockchain. https://github.com/cryptozoidberg/boolberry/releases/tag/v0.3.0.96Hi to all From a latest daemon i get $ ./boolbd 2019-Jul-27 18:47:33.698023 Starting... 2019-Jul-27 18:47:33.699264 Boolberry v0.3.0.95(2256653) 2019-Jul-27 18:47:33.699818 Module folder: ./boolbd 2019-Jul-27 18:47:33.701058 Pre-download not needed(db size=6503600128) 2019-Jul-27 18:47:33.701424 Initializing p2p server... 2019-Jul-27 18:47:33.702680 Binding on 0.0.0.0:10101 2019-Jul-27 18:47:33.703490 Net service binded on 0.0.0.0:10101 2019-Jul-27 18:47:33.703854 P2p server initialized OK on port: 10101 2019-Jul-27 18:47:33.704110 Starting UPnP 2019-Jul-27 18:47:33.704446 Initializing currency protocol... 2019-Jul-27 18:47:33.704697 Currency protocol initialized OK 2019-Jul-27 18:47:33.704929 Initializing core rpc server... 2019-Jul-27 18:47:33.705139 Binding on 127.0.0.1:10102 2019-Jul-27 18:47:33.705509 Core rpc server initialized OK on port: 10102 2019-Jul-27 18:47:33.705610 Initializing core... 2019-Jul-27 18:47:33.705758 Loading blockchain... With regards to July 30th, it may be that not all BBR holders are aware that a deadline is already fixed, and so close did you get this solved?... if not message one of the Mod's on Discord we can help faster over there We have never seen anything like that before, what OS and hardware conf you have? You can contact me on discord to provide details or DM here. It was Debian 9 in a virtual machine, switched to real machine and it works I forgot how fast BBR refreshes wallet even on low end hardware! Can I ask, did you build binaries from sources or downloaded from the website ?

The Boolberry project will be replacing by ZANO ? Zano is an evolution of Boolberry. But Boolberry will be supported after coin swap is over. It is not planned to do active development, but the network will be kept healthy until there some hash rate. If the project(BBR) continued to be interesting to miners/investors then we'll do a few improvements over the BBR wallet and GUI, it all depends on market.

.....
Great! I hope you can figure something out, it sounds like the ideal solution. Thanks for taking the time to answer all my questions.
Sure, thank you for interest to the project and bringing up these important questions.

........ Thanks crypto_zoindberg. What you say about not being able to lock or use a multisig address for coins that are staking makes sense. Will you have to take any special measures to ensure the security of the premine?
Well, we as much concerned about the safety of our main assets, so I don't even think that it's a good idea to share any details about special measures. I appreciate you wouldn't want to give out any specific details of technological measures you might want to take. My point is, without multisig or time-locks isn't it difficult to ensure that no one individual is in a position to steal the funds (or fake their theft) and pull an exit scam once the coin hits a certain value? Obviously you might reply that we should feel confident placing our trust in the fine upstanding people of the Zano Foundation... and that may be true, but something requiring a little less trust would be preferable and would help ease my worried mind. At this moment we are considering to implement a feature with upcoming hardfork, which let keep locked money available for PoS mining in some specific way: after creating PoS block asset that was used for it will remain locked, but reward will be issued as a regular(unlocked) coins. This will let us lock dev funds for a certain period of time but still doing PoS mining from this and use it to cover expends. But the decision is not made yet, we do consultations and reviewing code, need to find out how much time needed to implement everything related to this, beside what is already planned regarding PoS improvements.

You running boolberry as a GUI or as daemon + simplewallet ? Can I also ask you to send me log files (DM here or our discord https://discord.gg/wE3rmYY ) windows gui wallet logs location? can't find anything except "profile_details" It's normally located at C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Boolb Filename is Boolberry.log You can send it to discord I guess, or upload somewhere and send me a link to it in DM.

All exchange supported swap, or need withdraw coin in local wallet?
It's best to use the latest BBR wallet and latest Zano wallet to trade.... IMO. It only takes a short time to swap. Also, we tested swap on STEX and BTC-alpha - it should work fine there. Just do withdraw to Zano address and this is it. Hi, but on STEX is not listed ZANO..how to do swap? Here is an explanation in Medium: https://medium.com/@zano_project/coinswap-launch-b76e78192366Here is an explanation on the coinswap website: https://coinswap.zano.org/#howHere is an explanation at the documentation part: https://docs.zano.org/docs/coinswapAny of this explanation is works, but basically, all you need is to make Zano address for yourself and simply send coins from Boolberry wallet/exchange to Zano address.

Some questions: 3.6m BBR have been swapped to Zano so far. If only 6m BBR in total are swapped, then you will burn the remaining unclaimed 7.8m Zano from the swap pool. After the burn, the usable supply would be around 9.8m making the premine of 3.69m around 37% of the usable supply. Plus you will be staking the premine as previously stated. - Will you burn a proportionate amount of the premine to bring it down to 20% of the usable supply?
- Who controls the premined Zano?
- Are they in a multisig address?
- Will any of the premine be locked for any period of time or is it all immediately spendable?
- Who decides how they are spent/distributed?
- Will you be selling any of the premine (privately or publicly) to get funds in fiat or Bitcoin?
Thanks. Hi OrsonJ! Thank you for your questions, I believe a most of Zano holders/supporters interested to get answers to these questions and it's important to make this clear and transparent. We preparing a post about premine structure on medium and will publish it in next days, but I'm happy to write answers here on bitcointalk. Will you burn a proportionate amount of the premine to bring it down to 20% of the usable supply? No. We won't burn premined coins from dev fund, finance structure will be explained in post that I mentioned, but basically, we need to get the number of coins mined from dev fund to cover development, marketing, and PR expenses. Who controls the premined Zano? Zano premine is controlled by Zano Foundation, which consists of founders and advisers(team and advisers will be also published on the website in next days). Are they in a multisig address? The nature of multisig is not allowing to do autonomous PoS mining. Will any of the premine be locked for any period of time or is it all immediately spendable? All coins that supposed to be involved in PoS mining can't be locked, because the actual process of creating PoS block is basically sending a coin to yourself in coinbase transaction. Who decides how they are spent/distributed? As it was answered in another question, Zano premine is controlled by Zano Foundation, but most of the development funds are planned to keep as an asset for generating coins. This provides us a long term source of financial support for the project. Will you be selling any of the premine (privately or publicly) to get funds in fiat or Bitcoin? It's possible, we probably would consider this type of deals for some potential partners, but these deals(if it happens) will be public and transparent.
