Of course not, you'll still be earning from the index and platform and all the other things Iconomi are working on. It will just be the small, high risk fund you're missing out on. I suspect there will be a limit as to how much participants will be able to invest into the performance fund because it doesn't need to be big. Potential profit margins are high, but they will be on relatively small amounts. It's the cherry on the cake... not the cake. |

Will ICONOMI.performance invest in ICOs only or will it invest in other coins when they're expected to moon?. (i.e. New product launch or New coin launch on Poloniex)
They'd invest anywhere they see a quick profit, I imagine - flexibility is crucial. They would be looking for quick profits from instadumps, large spreads, hype, unexpected news, where ever they see an opportunity. They could have gone nuts with ZEC over the last few days, there were short term takings to be had all over the place.... |

Yes, but the art of manipulation is to cause big movements with small amounts of funds, anyone can move a market with loads of BTC . It's a risky game and minimising your exposure is paramount. |

You guys don't understand how this works.
A performance fund is similar to day trading, taking advantage of unexpected movements and high-risk investments in the market. It is only possible to invest relatively little amounts in these short term markets because you need to be able to buy and sell very quickly.
There is no point having a vast reserve of BTC for these funds because most of it will not be used, but it will dilute the profits for all.
It needs to be small and nimble.
