41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which cryptocurrency is the fastest? on: August 16, 2018, 11:39:43 AM
For me, almost all the transactions that I have made are swift and instant, and I did all of them have good transaction rate. I can exactly pin point one and say it is the fastest. Transactions are always very fast for me, no matter the coin I'm sending or receiving, and they appear or disappear instantly from my account.
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Whitepaper determined credibility of an ICO on: August 15, 2018, 04:41:08 PM
I don't think that whitepapers determine the credibility of an ICO.  It takes more than just a whitepaper to gain the trust of an audience, most especially one that has found out they live in a scam environment, and the scam projects sometimes have even more convincing whitepapers. Whitepapers only help in giving an insight as to what the project is about and what one should expect with a project.
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to spot a Scams on: August 09, 2018, 05:58:17 PM
If somebody emailed or called and said they were from the IRS and said you owed back taxes that had to be paid immediately… would you send them money? Believe or not, many people do. The old school method is to have the victim wire money via Western Union or transfer funds to a bank account. Now con men are contacting victims and demanding that victims transfer Bitcoin to their wallet. There’s an easy fix—don’t trust those calls or emails. Legitimate authorities wouldn’t contact you that way – and they won’t ask for Bitcoin, as you can imagine.
44  Other / Archival / Re: What you will do with your altcoins? on: August 09, 2018, 10:34:45 AM
Well, there are a number of altcoins one holds, and mine mostly are for sale, truth be told, we are all here to make money in the long run and the lats i have are quality coins that will ain value overtime, the market is currently red but they will gain valuation at some point, then i will be able to sell off then
45  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WHAT IS THE IMPORTANCE OF BITCOIN AND THE FUTURE BEHIND IT!! on: August 02, 2018, 09:37:49 PM
The emergence of Bitcoin has sparked a debate about its future and that of other cryptocurrencies. Despite Bitcoin’s recent issues, its success since its 2009 launch has inspired the creation of alternative cryptocurrencies such as Litecoin, Ripple and MintChip. A cryptocurrency that aspires to become part of the mainstream financial system would have to satisfy very divergent criteria. While that possibility looks remote, there is little doubt that Bitcoin’s success or failure in dealing with the challenges it faces may determine the fortunes of other cryptocurrencies in the years ahead.

46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I invest only in ICOs on: August 02, 2018, 06:27:37 AM
If you are certain of your investment choice then there is nothing stopping you and if you are sure of the decisions you are making then go ahead and commit, just be careful not to commit too much money in an ICO, these are projects with no certainties nd might fil anytime, only invest what you can afford to lose
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it normal to wait for 6 months for a bounty reward? on: July 31, 2018, 03:03:37 PM
6 MONTHS S QUITE a long time to wait for bounty rewards, sometimes it takes a long time for these bounties to pay especially when the participants were many., But waiting for 6 months is rather strange as most bounties pay mostly after three months, there are chances that you might have been a part of a scam campaign, don't however be too quick to give up, the wait might just turn out to be worth it
48  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: DONT INVEST IN BTC IF YOU CAN'T OR AFRAID OF TAKING RISK on: July 27, 2018, 09:01:13 PM
You are kind of right. People who can't take risks should definitely stay away from cryptocurrency. Cryptocurrency is not for weak heart as well. People who get depressed easily should avoid investing too.
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most alts are worth Zero on: July 25, 2018, 08:30:58 AM
Well, lets not say most but its safer to say that some are worthless, the market is highly competitive and lots of focus is on quality, yt a number of alts especially n ones does not have as much value.
50  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In Germany, bitcoin was recognized as legal tender on: July 24, 2018, 07:57:34 AM
This has been the case for some period of time now, Germany was one of the first to adopt crypto, especially BTC,  which was a good move, some countries chose not to embrace the coin, but germany did well to give the technology a chance
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is crypto industry dangerous ? on: July 18, 2018, 04:40:49 PM
I can't say if it is dangerous but it is a fun ride.

There are crashes. There are scandals. There are ruin for many, there are those left behind moaning it isn’t fair. There are giant fortunes made. A new industry rises and a new generation of billionaires spring from nowhere and strut about.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: except for bitcoin, what is your prefer? on: July 18, 2018, 10:51:01 AM
Apart from Bitcoin i preffer ETHG, its easily one of the best coins there are in the crypto market, and the promise its showing is quite good, the rate at which its developing is quite rapid,  an maybe someday in the near future it might claim the top spot in the market, There are other promising coins to But eth IS a step ahead of most of them
53  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is it the Future of Banking ? on: July 12, 2018, 01:21:24 AM
Yeah it can be. It is not only future, it is present. Many banks are already considering to use blockchain for banking. Though, there rules would be different but it is still good.
54  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you actually use Bitcoin? on: July 11, 2018, 02:58:11 PM
Yes I do. I use it as a method of payment as well as an investment. Bitcoin was mainly created as currency which could be used as mode of payment but now people use it more as an investment which is totally fine too. Once bitcoin becomes stable, more people would start using it as a currency instead of investment.
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Strategy to invest in crypto ? on: July 10, 2018, 06:05:01 PM
Your strategy looks good enough and can be sustaining as well, BUT it definitely wont work in all coins, what if the coin valuation don't get to the all time high when you can sell at double the price?? some coins will gain value overtime while others will not, The best thing to do is always research on the coins before commiting money
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: shall i convert my bitcoins to ethereum? on: July 09, 2018, 05:17:52 PM
I Yes you can convert your BTC to ETH, you can convert any of your coins to any that you like or any that you find suitable, thats a decision you are free to make anytime and no one will bother you at all, just ask yourself the reason as to why you are doing it, If you fiND ETH more attractive then go ahead and convert, just make sure you don't regret the decisions you make
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The most frustrating thing about crypto on: July 05, 2018, 01:55:16 AM
When they hold your purchase in que for so long that the price changes so much that you have to cancel your purchase and buy it again because if you want that coin, they do not give you the option of getting it at your original purchase price. They do the same when you are selling your coin. They hold on to it until the price drops so much that you have to change the price if you want to get rid of the coin that upsets me.
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Never invest no product ICOs on: July 03, 2018, 03:00:43 AM
It's a right advice but there could be some exceptions. But I agree that we should try to avoid risk as much as possible. Also if an ICO already has huge user base with the product then it is even better.
59  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin hits a new low since 2016 on: July 03, 2018, 02:44:52 AM
Yeah, that's worrying. I do think that it would be better by the end of 2018 but all of my earlier predictions didn't come true so I am not sure what is gonna happen next.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why people don’t believe in crypto? on: June 29, 2018, 12:54:05 PM
Whenever something is new, people are hesitant to accept it. But I still think cryptocurrency is growing much more rapidly than anything else. Those who don't believe in it are the people who don't know much about it.
