Although I invest in Bitcoin, my parents have never invested in Bitcoin and don't trust it that much. But currently our parents believe that since we are connected to Bitcoin, and we are able to earn money from Bitcoin, they trust Bitcoin. My parents believe in Bitcoin, but they have not invested, even though I have told them that Bitcoin is a good investment project and a great trust. But they asked me to invest, but they won't invest but if I invest then surely it will be a place for me to earn good money in future. Also, I told them to give me money so that I can invest bitcoin and earn good amount from it in future. But they did not agree to this proposal, rather my parents said that you should invest a small amount from the amount you earn. Anyway, as I am not thinking of investing their money, but I will and have invested my money so that it will lead me to higher level of profit in future. But I believe that our next generation who will definitely be able to tell others that their parents invested in Bitcoin and were related to Bitcoin. My parents also know I invest in bitcoin and am making good profits from it. But contrary to you, they offered to give me some money to invest in bitcoin and I refused immediately. Although bitcoin has potential and will grow strongly in the future, there is no guarantee of that and I don't want my parents to get depressed or have to be hospitalized if something unexpected happens. So I personally don't like my parents participating in these risky investments. My parents have worked hard all their lives to take care of my two brothers and now it's time for us to show our filial piety by providing them with money instead of continuing to take their last money to get rich for ourselves. So I really don't like the idea of convincing or taking money from my parents to invest in bitcoin. |

Keeping the technical aspects aside in layman's terms I would say it has survived for over a decade and faced all sort of challenges from being threatened to be banned to being called scam and being targeted as a medium of terror funding but it has survived of of these accusations and sabotage that's itself is enough for us to understand Bitcoin is not a bubble or weak asset and it would continue to sustain.
Bitcoin is already surviving every stumbling blocks on it's way to becoming the dominant digital cash, that will take over from all the digital fiat. In the early days of it's creation, people were skeptical about it, including me, it was called a Ponzi scheme in my locality, but as the years went by, it's reputation has continued to increase and more people have seen that it's a store of value, hence the adoption continues to grow. Although I believe that most people that hodl Bitcoin, is for investment purposes, to collect profits from it, because it's an asset that continues to increase in value, hopefully in the future, it'll be used more as a digital cash to make payments for items.I do not doubt the existence of bitcoin, simply because I am a bitcoin investor. I believe that it will not only last, but in the future it will become as popular an asset as gold or more. But to expect it to become a means of payment or become a currency, I don't think that will happen. Transaction fees as well as bitcoin processing speed are issues for it to become a currency. If it were you, would you be willing to spend a few extra dollars as transaction fees when your bills are only worth a few dozen dollars, let alone bills that are only a few dollars? Second, governments will never accept a currency that is not controlled by them, which not only makes it impossible for them to control the people but also makes it difficult for them to control the economy. It's hard to believe that bitcoin will become a currency in the future while it remains a decentralized asset. |

I think the government needs to step in and immediately calm all this chaos. Inflation has existed for hundreds of years in our economy and the Covid pandemic has only made it worse rather than being the leading cause of inflation. Many people seem to only start to care about inflation since they invested and they always emphasize that inflation is due to the pandemic, the government printing money...They do not know that there are many causes of inflation and that it always exists even when our economy grows well. The government is still trying to reduce inflation and raising interest rates is one of their many efforts. But the problem of controlling inflation is not as easy as we think, we don't just need to stop printing money and inflation will disappear, things are not that easy. inflation isn't new. Prices have always fluctuated in economies. Not just a pandemic or policy, but many kinds of events provoke this. People have more money to spend when economies are thriving, which boosts demand for products and services. Unless firms can meet demand, prices will rise. In summary, inflation. So the true question is how to handle inflation, not why it happens. Raising interest rates is a typical government tool. Higher rates increase borrowing costs, which are supposed to reduce spending and chill the economy Interest rate hikes aren't magic. Numerous unforeseen effects can result. Business expansion, innovation, and job creation are hindered by higher rates. Layoffs, budget cuts, and a distinct economic slump can result. A precise balance is needed, and interest rates are just one factor. Our economy needs long-term solutions like structural reforms that make it more resilient to shocks and an educated populace I agree, increasing interest rates is like a double-edged sword. It can help control inflation, but if we overuse it or do not make appropriate adjustments, it can easily cause the economy to fall into recession. But the problem is that besides raising interest rates, do we have any more perfect solution to curb inflation? I am not an economic advisor and do not have much knowledge about economics, I've tried researching but haven't really found any other effective solution. I really want someone who can come up with serious solutions to discuss together. |

A country with a developed economy needs to have good domestic and foreign policies, attract a lot of capital and create many jobs for people...Besides, national security also needs to be prioritized as in the case of El Salvador, the country with the highest crime rate in the world even though it is only a small country. Developing a country's economy has never been easy but people seem ignorant and naive to think that simply adopting bitcoin can improve a country's economy. Let's also not forget that bitcoin is not the only anti-inflation asset in existence, gold is also a pretty good anti-inflation asset. If stopping inflation were just about using an asset with a limited supply, governments would have done it long ago without the help of bitcoin. |

That is really going to be a surprise for everyone. Well, I guess you cannot expect anything better when you have Shanto as the captain of Bangladesh. How the hell is this guy the captain of the Bangladesh cricket team in all three formats of cricket? Captain is supposed to lead from the front. Meh, I would rather keep money on Bitcoin and gold, no other precious metal is allowed in my portfolio. Let it rise, not interested in in any of that rise just in case you have not been holding silver all this while, in which case you should sell and dump to get back some profits.
You never know how this rise might change course. It might drop down which would make it a poor choice to buy at the high, it might rise more which is also possible. Metal lovers might have some opinions on the cause but it all ends up with zero correlation.
In case someone reading has never invested in silver, dont start it now. Its the golden rule, dont buy at the top, sell at the top.
I would also choose gold instead of holding silver. Silver has had impressive gains recently, but that doesn't mean it will continue to maintain those gains. Not to mention, thousands of years have passed but why has silver never equaled or surpassed gold? So there's no reason for me to move into silver just because it's up over 32% in the past year, and if I remember correctly, gold is up over 25% in the past year as well. If comparing these two assets, gold is clearly still the better choice because it is safer. Just like we compare bitcoin with ETH, ETH will definitely bring better returns than bitcoin in the upcoming bull season, but why do many people still choose bitcoin and not ETH? |

Luckily, in the last match of the season, Union Berlin managed to win over Freiburg and it was not an ordinary victory considering that the additional 3 points were very important to keep them in the Bundesliga next season. The La Liga is technically over already.  Because there is no competition left for any target. There won't be any change in top 7 no matter what the results of the final week are. Scarcity is important just as the hard cap limit, but these things have never defined the value of something. The most important thing is use cases. Real acceptance.
I can give you many examples of things that are scarce but not really valuable, just because nobody needs them for anything.
Take tellurium - one of the least common elements on Earth. It's not that expensive for something that rare. It costs $80 per kg, which is much cheaper than silver, not to mention some other, rare metals like ruthenium that's over 10x the price of silver.
Rarity, cost of production and all that does not equal value.
Bitcoin is not the only asset with a limited supply, and creating tokens with a limited supply has never been difficult. It's sad that many people still make the mistake of thinking that supply is what determines the value of bitcoin. I wonder if bitcoin has no use case and no practical application, how does the fact that bitcoin has a limited supply come into play? There is no denying that limited supply also plays a role in bitcoin's increase in value, but it is the use case that determines bitcoin's demand. Higher demand combined with limited supply, in turn helps bitcoin value increase. I think Gold used to be a good investment but it just simply doesn’t provide high enough returns any more to interest me. We’re here on a Bitcoin & cryptocurrency forum, Gold is a boomers investment. Bitcoin is here to take over, I see no reason why anybody under 50 would want Gold now.
There is nothing wrong with someone wanting to own gold in this day and age, gold is still the asset considered the best inflation hedge and safe haven. That was most clearly shown during the recent inflationary period, when crisis and inflation attacked the world economy, gold continuously increased in price and was always the top choice of the Government as well as billionaires. And the reason we choose bitcoin is because we want to get rich quickly, we don't have too much capital and we want to become rich with our little capital. It is true but many people are trying to hide it and are starting to criticize gold and real estate, assets that they seem unable to own. |

Gold is bulky so storing and moving around can be difficult at times, but bitcoin also has associated risks such as being hacked, forgetting the seed phrase, and how can we use bitcoin without internet?...No asset is perfect, and each asset is used for different use cases. Even though we are bitcoin investors, we don't need to exaggerate bitcoin and badmouth other assets, because that doesn't make bitcoin any better. |
