If anyone is is still having trouble sending coins to exchanges you need to fix your .conf file right now, even though your wallet may be in sync, you are on the wrong chain, that's why anything you send to exchanges isn't going to work. . We have already confirmed Mintpal, Bter, and Cryptsy are back on the correct fork and is working fine. How many people actually use bittrex for Flt? I've looked sometimes on there and it doesn't look like they have 1 btc volume per day. I think for now we should just use the ones that work unless someone wants to email bittrex and let them know they may be on the wrong chain.

The cryptsy wallet was offline for 11 days at the beginning of the month.
That really had nothing to do with the coin. Kid put out an official update and cryptsy should have updated also. Me and a lot of other people were tweeting for them to fix their wallet. I don't use cryptsy myself but when I heard others in the thread I sent messages for them to fix it. There was really no excuse other than being lazy for that to go on for 11 days like that. I have always used mintpal and they never have had problems. Even when the coin got messed up the other day, I emailed them telling them and got a response from them within like a hour and they have everything up and working fine now. |

It's time to open the throttle a little bit. - if you are in sync with explorer.fluttercoin.com please consider modifying your fluttercoin.conf to change connect to addnode, and changing listen to 1
Edit: I did sync twice today using this fluttercoin.conf, but there is a possibility of bad peers still in the network, which is why I suggest using the one with connect in them. - First part is from OP post for fluttercoin.conf, other addnodes are the same as connect, but this allows you to start joining other nodes, and syncing them.

Gotta love the irony of "Proof of Transaction" on a coin you cannot actually use for transactions. This coin has been unusable for almost half the month of June. Guess its my own damn fault for thinking I could move it between exchanges this latest time when it was down for 11 days at the beginning of the month.
What are you talking about down for 11 days? This coin has been fine up until last thurs/friday. I have been trading and or receiving PoS this entire month up untill last friday and so has everyone else. |

For now, some kind of fix needs to happen so we can all be on the block explorers chain and get things back to normal. If that means PoW has to go, I don't mind. Would that do anything to mess up PoT / PoS ?
As for Kidcoin. He did tweet saying something about releasing the anon update on July 3rd or 4th. That is next thurs/fri. I think if by then he hasn't responded here, or anywhere where really, it would be safe to say he isn't coming back. We could then start to move forward with whatever else needs to be done. I am still holding out hope that Kid comes back and isn't injured in some hospital or something worse. He may not have had the best attitude at times, but he knows his stuff and PoT is a great idea and what defines this coin from everything else out there.

Coin basically forked over the weekend. We pretty much have it fixed except we need verification from Kid to make sure the explorer is the correct chain. I've sent emails, twitter messages, pms and still no response yet. He posted on twitter monday so he is around just have no idea why he doesn't come here and update us all. With all the updates and everything he was working towards and the community finally starting to come together, it would be a shame if he just gave up on this coin. |

You can have performance issues as other bad nodes connect into you. This is normal until the majority of nodes resync (everyone needs to check this, if they haven't!). You can move back and forth as needed if you are trying to do something. I wouldn't try to do anything else at the moment, just hold... Bumping this back up encase there are still people out there having trouble with the wallet. |

Can't really do anything until we hear from Kid. We could maybe pay a % like you said but the reason why they have that many blocks is b/c they were basically mining by themselves on the wrong fork the whole time.

I had lost about 100k FLT mining at the very beginning of this coins life when it went through the 3 fork troubles. Wasted a few days mining and never got any compensation for that. That's just how coins go. Do we even know if they were the ones that created the fork with all the hashrate? Even if we were to add that node like they ask, who runs the block explorer? It may be Kid that owns that so then we still couldn't do anything until we hear from him.

How many coins can they be getting with block rewards only at 20 ? If they have to split that between everyone, it can't be that much total for each person for one day. You would get way more mining through the multipool than with block rewards at 20. I was getting about 3500-5500 coins a day mining with x11 on the multipool. I stopped mining though last friday whenever the fork and all this started though so not sure if the multipool is still going or what

We need to give him some time. I seriously don't believe Thekidcoin is just going to abandon his creation all together after all the progress that has been made so far. PoT is his original idea and I know he isin't just going to give up on it after the work he has already put into it. It would be nice for him to come here and just let us know that the block explorer is indeed the correct chain we are all supposed to be on and any other updates he has. For him to just not respond at all is indeed strange but we don't know if he has had some kind of family emergency, really busy, on vacation, or anything really. I say we give him a week or two and by that time if he hasn't responded at all, then we can probably assume he isn't coming back. Or unless some new coin pops up that has PoT lol j/k.
I also think we should bring back the official fluttercoin forum b/c it will be a lot easier to find things when we want to get things going with the coin instead of trying to go back through multiple pages in this one thread.
And what is the meeting and where is it going to happen? June 26th is tomorrow so what time will it be? I live in Central time so if its during the day, I may not be able to make it since I have to work but if its after say 5:30pm central time, I could join in.
Two weeks? have you looked at the price? 220 right now, and sales pressure is on. Shall we predict the price after two weeks if the dev is still hiding? For the hundredth time, we all know what the price is. Two weeks is plenty of time for him to respond or not. We can't just automatically take over the coin b/c we haven't heard anything in 5 days even though he has posted on twitter 2 days ago. The price could be 100 in two weeks, doesn't really matter as long as we have the people and community that will take it over when the time is right. It would be pretty dumb to take over the coin when all this anonymous work, twitter/facebook tipping, and marketing stuff Kid talked about is being worked on. Lets just say he does never come back, do we have devs here that can do all that anonymous stuff etc for this coin? |

My wallet is 151 off explorer this morning. Debug shows a pot transaction and then errors on accepting the next block. Exact same issue I saw when this first started.
Most of the peers appease to be matching explorer. I'm going to see if my wallet can reorganize itself or if I have to resync. My test wallet is in sync.

Nevemind my PoS is working now. Computer must have shutdown during the rain and the time was stuck a couple of hours ago. After restarting the wallet it synced up fine and my PoS are all good.

Our main wallet is now in sync with the official explorer and we've processed all pending deposits but we'll be leaving automatic processing off for a little while until we're 100% confident we're not going to get stuck on an invalid chain again. I've also put up another temporary block explorer on a personal machine based on the above list of known-good nodes incase it helps. http://199.48.164.89/fluttercoin/i have verified that my 100 and 19.99 are in my balance now. I have not run further tests at the moment. Same here, my test 300 FLT also went through. Lets just hope that this is the right chain lol. |
