41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PRE - ICO] LUST: DECENTRALIZED SEX MARKETPLACE WITH ESCROW! on: August 17, 2017, 01:32:09 AM
I'm already waiting for the platform to work somewhere in Utah. Or in Muslim countries.

In the Muslim countries will not work, I'm sure of it

Probably, there are regions where prostitution is not so harsh

Let's face it - this platform is unlikely to work in Muslim countries at all

There are United Arab Emirates, one of the most technologically advanced countries in the world

You judge only by Dubai. It is worth going to the interior of the country - and this is an ordinary Arab country, not unlike Syria or Iraq

I do not agree. It is unlikely that the Emirates would develop only one city

May be. But what about Turkey? There exactly prostitution is not encouraged

This is a large country, the market there is probably big

Yes, the issue of promotion remains open. And what do the developers say about this?
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PRE - ICO] LUST: DECENTRALIZED SEX MARKETPLACE WITH ESCROW! on: August 17, 2017, 12:45:38 AM
I think that the most effective method of promotion will be advertising on thematic forums. Or simply output the platform to the top on requests in the browser

It is very expensive. Just imagine how much you need to spend on getting to the top in all the major world languages.

To begin with, enough English

Chinese is also needed. And then, local languages are very necessary. I do not think that in Asian countries, where prostitutes are many, everyone knows English.

Yes, take at least Thailand. The minimum number of English speakers there

The project definitely needs promotion in Spanish. All South America speaks it, except for Brazil

Oh yeah, Mexico, Argentina and so on.

Oh, come on. Which country will allow it to enter its territory?
Almost any progressive country. You misunderstand this app. This is an information platform, the developers do not sell sex itself

Well, who needs it then? Than all this differs from the usual site of escort services?

Guy, read the white paper again

No, I'm serious

Read again, everything is clearly described

Can anybody explain to me? So as not to wade through 2,000 messages and a few pages of white paper?

Security. You do not provide any bank data, cash is dangerous. No one will know, neither your wife, nor your voters, if you understand what I mean.

I think cash is traditional for this sphere, is not it?

In addition, if the system works only in countries where prostitution is legalized - this is almost half the Earth. The market will still be gigantic

It's all clear, but how to make prostitutes use this service?

Guys, interesting project?

Try to read the documents yourself

Yes, I read it. And this is legal? That is, I have nothing against developers, but this is prostitution

I think it's interesting, but for now I'll watch the project from the side. I'm a bit suspicious of risky ventures.

Hate to chime in just to whine - but boy this block is a doozy. Are these the first PPLNS shifts that closed at zero?

I shouldn't even complain, yesterday's luck was amazing. Just a zero-sum game...

(Edit: I originally posted this at 9:38:35 EDT. Then we found a block at 9:38:38 EDT.  Grin )

HD5750 X2 (crossfire)
Windows 7 pro legit updated
Latest non beta catalyst drivers
Latest non beta AMD SDK driver
cgminer 3.7.2 (3.8 does not support GC anymore) with cgwatcher (latest).

-I 18 -g 1 -w 256 --thread-concurrency 6016

I have improved the conf, i'm on 400 Kh/s now.

btw you should really mine x11 or scryptn on gpu

Yeah, indeed.

I hate to point you toward other pools, but clevermining doesn't offer these algos, and scrypt GPU mining is like running a very expensive space heater.

Check out Coinsolver, a smaller pool which supports scrypt-n and x11, which has short tutorials.

Scrypt Miner  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Zeus Blizzard-X6 3.6+Mh/s 110W

That's the one!

I'm really curious how this guy came into possession of it without having any idea what it is.

Op, care to enlighten us?
59  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: help for a noob on: August 22, 2014, 03:13:12 PM
If you're using the custom branch of CGminer that Rockminer distributed. They hacked the Icarus driver to work with their hardware. The Icarus is actually an old FPGA miner. What do you mean by Icarus Erupter?

Try using the current version of BFGminer or CGminer. Both should support the R-Box and your other hardware. Good luck.

Personally I'd suggest getting a Raspberry Pi to run your R-boxes. Much lower power consumption than a computer. Distributions like Minepeon make setup rather easy.
60  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: S3 Firmware Update on: August 22, 2014, 03:05:35 PM
The good news is the firmware update ALMOST completely silences the beeping. Why you can't silence it completely without desoldering the speaker, that I do not know.
