41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Elastos (Decentralized Operating System) with the NEO ecosystem on: March 24, 2018, 09:26:34 PM
Elastos is worth following but I will try my luck on a lower price.

I think it's too expensive now and the market will push it down to under 15-20 USD within 2 months. I'm planning to buy then. If it never goes so low, bad luck. There are plenty other good projects around.
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time to Buy More? on: March 24, 2018, 08:12:44 PM
Nobody could predict the future market moves.

I used the current market conditions and bought a lot alts who lost 75%-90% from the January ATH but I still find for perspective - HAT, HPB, PRL, ELIX and few more.

43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC Data leak on: March 24, 2018, 07:52:45 PM
And this is how your passports get on the dark web.

https://thenextweb.com/hardfork/2018/02/07/sentinel-chain-ico-leak-passport/

Thats why I never invest in ICOs what wants my personal data. This is a crypto world and it must be simple - choosing a project and sending ETH. That's all.

And some people are giving their passports for airdrops...

44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Does anyone have an idea of what this means for OCN holders? on: March 23, 2018, 10:05:06 PM
Yes, they sh*t themselves and now are trying to cover things as much as they can.

Odyssey is dead. Period. At least for me.
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you learn about other cryptos? on: March 23, 2018, 09:53:13 PM
Mostly from ads on CMC and the signatures here.

Before I was reading the new topics in Ann section, but now I don't have time for this. I a project can't afford an ads or signatures, then most probably it's for skipping anyway.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CREDITS - Legit or Scam ?? on: March 21, 2018, 09:14:31 PM
I think Credits are one of the most successful ICOs this year and I'm already beginning to regret that I sold all their coins ...

I think the same - Credits is successful ICO and one of the few already shown x5 gain.

But after reading their announce about the Alpha version and the achievement of 480K transactions per second, how they did it on a hardware level? Too many IOPS for ordinary hardware. I own nearly 20K CS, but I will wait for public beta and to test it myself before buying more.
47  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin marketcap touch $1 Trillion in 2018? on: March 21, 2018, 08:54:56 PM
Hey guys
My question is simple.
Will marketcap of Bitcoin hit $1 Trillion in 2018?

To have a Trillion Bitcoin cap, you need a $65 000 USD Bitcoin.

Simply... NOPE in the current state of market, regulation news and FUD.
48  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Making 1% Daily on: March 21, 2018, 08:28:44 PM
Don't aim on fixed daily profit or anything like this.

AIM into taking the right decisions, the good decisions. Then the results will follow.

Don't be result oriented. This is the way how bad traders are thinking.
49  Economy / Speculation / Re: Long or Short since Bitcoin reached 8800 again? on: March 20, 2018, 10:09:11 PM
I'm shorting until a week after the G20 meeting and all the upcoming news.

For me it's profitable for now.
50  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you think there is a lot of money to be made in Bitcoin Acccounting? on: March 20, 2018, 09:55:04 PM
As there are a good amount of people who are trading crypto, trading bitcoin, and so on and so forth. Do you think there is a lot of money to be made in doing accounting / tax work for people who need it in the bitcoin space? As I would think a lot of people who are involved in trading, exchanges, etc aren't complying with IRS / their tax authroity rules which they have to be complying too.

Plus, how many of you actually do your taxes for bitcoin anyway?

I don't think so. At least not in EU.

In EU you are paying Capital Gain tax in most country, only when you are converting crypto to fiat. For example, I'm converting just few times per month and I need to fill a simple line of info for each transaction in the end of the year. I'm doing it myself. It's simple and I don't need an accountant for this.
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which App Do You Use For Crypto? on: March 20, 2018, 09:18:14 PM
I'm trying to not check prices very often when I'm off computer for few reasons. But the main is that I can't do nothing from my phone and I don't want to anger myself for nothing. So I'm checking just a general market state from time to time through Coinmarketcap.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: EOS DUMPING ETH? on: March 20, 2018, 09:01:40 PM
Hi I just wanted to understand the ramifications of EOS dumping a sizeable chuck of the eth they raised through ico on the market. Is this more of an issue with the long term prospects of ethereum or EOS?

They moved 50 000 ETH to Bitfinex but it's not a hundred percent proved that they already dumped it.
My guess is this is a competitor moves to put down the ETH price and make people notice EOS more.
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Year of altcoins or down again? on: March 19, 2018, 10:13:24 PM
I think this year will be the year of altcoins and tokens, and a lot of real business will switch to token payments.
Mostly not because they believe so hard in crypto's but because this will save them money and bring new clients.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is most ICO creator from India on: March 19, 2018, 09:57:34 PM
Actually from my observation, most ICO teams are from Russia. Indian teams are on 2-4th positions by number of ICO's.

People in developed counties have more secure income. People from other counties are trying different ways to make some money.
55  Economy / Services / Re: SELLING BTC in EUROPE LARGE VOLUME! on: March 19, 2018, 09:42:55 PM
I don't understand why anybody would be interested in purchasing large amounts of BTC from you when they have endless options that are safer with more reputation. You didn't mention how many coins you have for sale, you did not mention a rate or why you are selling them in this manner. There are too many questions, and too little effort being put into your "proposal".

If this is not a scam, which I doubt, my guess is that he want to deal P2P and don't pay taxes for converting crypto into fiat.

BUT I suggest everybody to stay away. If you are converting fiat to crypto, you are from the winning side of taxation.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Useless top 25 Cryptos which will not be there in 2019 on: March 19, 2018, 09:25:12 PM
ETC will disappear. It's pointless to have it.

BTG could survive due card mining.

But one coin that definitely need to be in this list - DeepOnion. It will die very soon after the airdrop ends in 4-5 weeks. It's useless.
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ukraine to Legalize Crypto Mining as Economic Activity on: March 17, 2018, 08:27:19 PM
"The government in Kiev has taken concrete steps to legalize cryptocurrency mining. Ukraine’s Minister of Economy has ordered several ministries, agencies, and the National Bank to prepare the documents necessary to include mining in the state register of economic activities. "

https://news.bitcoin.com/ukraine-to-legalize-crypto-mining-as-economic-activity/

Thought this was pretty interesting.

But is crypto mining even profitable at this point? Idk if it's worth it for btc, maybe some other alcoins?

What do you think?

It's interesting.

Mining there could be very profitable for big players because it's cold and you could arrange very cheap energy. Like $0.05 kW/h. Still, the security could be an issue.
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Hold or sell and buy back lower on: March 17, 2018, 08:21:26 PM
In past two month I did it with almost all alts I have, because it was /it is/ a general tendency now. In almost all cases I succeed, but in few I buy backed a lot higher.

Overall I'm on a plus from those trades.
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 10 BILLION USD of Ripple moved and ready to be dumped? on: March 17, 2018, 07:41:27 PM
And what are you expecting to happen with a coin created by banks and corporations?

Exactly. The bad part is if there are ready for dump, it will drag the real coins down.

But I don't think this is a pre-dump move. It's more likely to be a big bank to bank deal.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Petro-Coin on: March 16, 2018, 08:14:02 PM
Does anyone know where Venezuela's Petrocoin can be obtained or if it's even available to the general public?

I don't think Petro will be available to the general public in next few months.

But I will not support it anyway. It's like the first blood coin. If I want to trade with petrol, I will do it with fiat.

Yeah I see what you're saying. It's definitely a difficult topic, but I feel perhaps this can aid Venezuela by providing some sort of economic relief.

But you will help Maduro to become richer. It's like splitting money into his own pocket. He's 'mining' the coin, he's selling it.

The ordinary Venezuelan will not gain anything from this.
