Dear Community,
As you are all aware, Vsync has been disabled for maintenance on Coin Exchange.
The Vsync team have actively been conversing with the Coin Exchange team and the issue has been established.
On March the 20th & 21st, the Vsync team updated the wallet with new features. However, CoinExchange did not take the mandatory procedures in updating the wallet, highlighted by the Vsync team weeks in advance.
Because of this Coin Exchange experienced issues, where they forked off onto the wrong chain, allowing users to withdraw VSX during this issue. As a result, invalid transactions took place on the correct chain, leaving Coin Exchange with a negative balance of 2.1 million VSX.
They will not reopen the exchanges until the negative balance has been paid. The Vsync team are willing to match the highest donator to resolve the Coin Exchange problem.

I have to admire some people that smart enough to know that CE running in fork chain and use that lope hole to create an opportunity. From what i have read in telegram that those people create new account in CE, send fork vsx to CE, trade and wd in btc. |

this is good news,, i hope this news is true, and not only a hope because others exchange is needed for VSX but, i have vsx in coinexchange and i don't know what should i do now,, About problem with CE, we (community and dev) should working together to sort it out. Compliant to each side will not solving the problem, they just keep telling us and blame the other side. We also dont know what the real problem, its CE or VSX side since the beginning. Yes, its true that right now, the coin is seem running good, but this problem start long time ago, maybe there is something wrong with the coin at that time. |

The dev team can do nothing about coinexchange because theres nothing wrong with the coin... the issue is coinexchange only, so they need to fix it (the exchange needs to fix their end)
You are right! Vsync team have nothing to do with coinexchange.io. After latest wallet version, all things have worked smoothly, both staking and masternode operational procedures. Therefore, the current issues in coinexchange.io are totally from their platform, not from Vsync team and Vsync wallets, network. The exchange should handle their issues by themselves, without charges. Has anyone from the Vsync team formally requested that coinexchange sort out this issue ? Dont know. I think they are busy to ask a donation for listed in Cryptopia. Just dont make sense that why dont they manage current exchange with no cost and keep pushing to others exchange. Now the volume is so low that if someone dump few of their bags, the price will drop like hell |

What is going to happen is going to happen, you or me are not going to change it. If some farm in China calls BM and says I want 10,000 machines for XYZ algo you think BM is going to tell them NO, THAT'S A GPU ONLY ALGO? Hell no!!
My only comeback would be; "There's nothing BM can do to fulfill that potential client's order if software developers have rendered an algo virtually ASIC resistant or at least made ASIC's pretty much on an even keel with GPU's. I like @madmartyk comment I dont think "ASIC Resistant" is a value selling for those GPU mining coin, all have have two sides, which should be consider carefully A big word IF that not us to be decided. |

vsx not only cannot be withdraw or deposit, also cannot be traded.
So, why not directly send your questions via support tickets to coinexchange.io? Vsync team should focus entirely on developmental progress, and they should not be responsible for technical issues of exchanges. I dont need open a ticket and i am sure many vsx holder and trader already done that. so vsx need dev/team to contact to point out the problem since if its not just exchange issue, as i see others coin just fine. if vsx in coinex isnt vsync team concern as it was vsx main volume, well... i dont need to said more, just hope is not the voice of the team.  |
