Talking about trust and Crypto project I choose ETH as a trusted project which I see it's future more brighter in 5-10 years to come with big increase so I can highly recommend it for long term.

In some case, diversify can be important and helpful because not all successful projects can survive for long because even some is listed it can still drop or increase on price but most reduces and that's why diversify comes in to lower the risk of getting something at least.

There could be fall of coin sometimes but it doesn't stay like that forever, always remember this is Crypto which means rise and fall can occur and if you plan on holding for long I don't see any reason for you to panic because to my view the market will be back to it's position even more. I agree with you, we don't really need too much Altcoin though the market will be competitive since there has been Altcoin coming after BTC it wouldn't want to stop there and this creates chance for more Altcoin.
