My new wallet is up and running. It took the better part of a day but the sync is complete and everything seems right as rain!

Can you launch please? I wait for a long time.
The team is not interested in launching a "coin" so you can quickly profit. They are interested in launching a "product". A product that can be used by the masses. I for one am extremely excited about that! What coin in your portfolio has a use case right out of the gate? Just my two satoshi! - Good Day - pokeytex

I for one am extremely happy with the DMD cloud mining service. I invested sometime in 2014 or 2015 and have received consistent payments from Cryptonit! Thank you for being such an honest, stand up person! I will consider any service you offer in the future! - pokeytex

I have a question about the new 3.0.0.15 wallet. I thought this was meant to fix the wallet corruption issues when power suddenly outs. I just had short power cut and my wallet running in windows 7 VM got corrupted. It did ask to rebuild databases which i clicked yes to, it then gave another error about unable to read memory at location (couldnt copy n paste exact error)
I still had to delete all but wallet.dat to get it opening again
Would this be because of running in a VM?
3015 should be able fix most power outage chain issues at least in a way that at itself start to resync from zero at a restart but there was a handfull possible nasty results of power outage it can be that one of them is still unsolved we keep monitoring error reports for future improvements I would like to remind anyone that is having "power outage" issues that you can put your computer or mini computer on a battery back-up device which will have an alarm when the power goes out. It should give you enough time to start a shutdown sequence.

Ok...
I purchased enough VGS to set up a MN the other night, because after a little research, I was impressed with what I found with VGS.
I have made a few posts on here as well as the Discord channel, requesting assistance with a few things, and none of them have been acknowledged. I know that everyone (including myself) is busy, and while I don't expect anyone to drop what they're doing to assist me, at this point, I am wondering whether I made a mistake getting on board with this coin. I have set up enough masternodes in the past to know that sometimes it takes a little legwork to get things going. I didn't expect it to happen immediately, but at least a response from someone on here would be nice.
@jimmy24651 - One thing I have learned in Crypto is that patience is a virtue! This is a active page just not as active as you might want. It is best to address someone directly as I have done here with your handle. Otherwise you will have to wait until someone who knows the answers to your questions can answer. Unfortunately, I do not know the answer to either question.

@vegasguy - is there a guide to setting up your masternode? I mean a specific one to Las Vegas Coin?

Is this the superblock release?

And as the mother coin falls, she takes all of her kids along with her.
It's actually pretty hilarious there was a rally today. Meanwhile... https://www.msn.com/en-us/money/markets/did-bitcoin-just-burst-how-it-compares-with-historys-big-bubbles/ar-AAuNGT0Watching news outlets cover cryptos and predict them is hilarious. Like right when the articles print drastically contradicting things happen in the crypto world. Don't worry guys it's just like the stock market. There was a article the other day claiming the only currency that was doing well during this decline was tether... And you're just like ... They don't even understand what they're talking about when they write it down. Tether in a ideal world should never be above or below the price of BTC-USD or other FIAT pairs, it was 4% higher, that's really bad. @bensam1231 - LOL - I was thinking the same thing yesterday! I was looking at Blockfolio and then at the news outlets and say, "Something is not matching up!". LMAO

Not sure what to say to all these messages... Do I suck at communication? Yes I do.. That said, I keep silent for how long? 2 weeks (posted some in slack though)... And all hell brakes lose again? Don't like how things are going? You know the doorway to the market... Nobody is asking you to invest, hold or whatever... About the exchange, I've asked some previous colleagues to review my code the last couple of weeks.. And in their opinion it's not fit to go online in it's current state.. There are still some security concerns.. This is the second time it's a no-go for the launch.. Maybe I'm just not up for the job, I don't know.. I do know that I need to think about this project as a whole and the way I imagined it when I started this... At this point I'm not sure if I can pull this off the way it was planned.. I have some backup ideas and such, but I need some time to think about everything and for most our future first.. Call me whatever you want.. I really don't care.. If I wanted to pull the so called "plug" I would have done so a loooong time ago.. I'm closing down Slack though.. We're switching to telegram once I have things sorted out.. If anyone has any info on this guy please pm me
And then what? lol.. Like I've said above, if you don't like how things are going, feel free to sell your coins... Nobody told you to invest or hold or whatever man... Just leave... It's so simple.. Can't sell any coins - Yobit is in maintenance.

Exactly why do you think it will increase in price?? Based on what? Easy you say? There's a lot of low valued coins out there with a low amount of coins in circulation! Take time to read the white scroll (white paper). Tech is solid, Carsen is doing great work. Just the speed of transfers is impressive. Look at the wallet compare that to other wallets. You can see the effort that went into making that. Cant say the same for other coins I have seen. DNR is here to stay. People are starting to realize it. I am a denarium for life. Let's not forget the impending masternode release. That I am sure has a lot to do with it. I believe it is 5000 dnr to run a masternode?

Staking time went from 3 days, to over 2 weeks now on 200+ DMD. I'm out. Better investments out there....

Gateless Gate Sharp 1.1.3 alpha https://github.com/zawawawa/GatelessGateSharp/releases/tag/v1.1.3-alpha* Added support for Pascal and Ethereum(Ethash)/Pascal dual-mining. * Improved compatibility with Dwarfpool. * Fixed a bug in the CryptoNight support. * Added OpenCL binaries for some algorithms. * Optimized Lbry. * Updated device settings for new algorithms. * Various bug fixes and improvements. Here comes a new version! A lot of work has been put into it. Enjoy! @zawawa - Thank you for the new miner. I get "Failed to launch miner" error when trying to dual mine eth/pascal on (2) 1080's... Any idea on a fix?

There is a command called: setstakesplitthreshold=xxx I think it should work here too. Type that into console and set it to 200. Then it will stop splitting your stakes when the pile would go below 200.
I tried and that command does not seem to work with this wallet.

@zawawa - is dual mining of lbry active now on nvidia pascal cards?
|
|
|
Quick question - how do i get the wallet to stop splitting my stake blocks smaller and smaller? I started with 200 block stakes and then they split to 100 now 50 and so on?
|
|
|
@zawawa - Dual mining of LBRY doesn't work on Nvidia? Mine is greyed out.... Please advise.

I have a new wallet ready in a day or three.. I basically re-organized the entire layout, added some new things, moved some old things.. No protocol changes, this is pure a visual improvement...
@BanzaiBTC will it be a mandatory update or just suggested?

@vegasguy - very weird! - I updated to the new wallet and lost all of my stakes from previous wallet as well as the 50 vgs bounty you gave me a couple weeks ago? Why did that happen?
Ok we had to go onto a new chain. So all you have to do is run your new wallet, then find the folder LasVegascoin 2 , then move your wallet.dat over to it and restart. This has been performed many times and has worked. Let me know if you need further assistance. You also may need to go into wallet repair and use zaptxes=1 Vegas Ok - All fixed. Whew! Was like what-da-hell! I see what happened. The new chain has all of my transactions in one line now but the total is correct. Thanks for the fix. I did zap transactions and it cleaned up the wallet! - pokeytex
