Sorry but amber dev has always been fast on answering, they must be more then 1 using the account, after all this time they would have already answer. I feel like we caught the scam and they wont show up now.
Dev was online when all this fud started and not a single answer for me its a very bad sign.
If you feel like you caught the scam then sell all your Amber. Quickly. Or you have done it already?  For other shareholders I will post some explanations later today that could help to understand the current situation better. As I can see only one post approaches to correct understanding of what has happened. And one more thing is clear for me - all the dumpers are completly incompetent in economy. Still testing out different difficulty settings for Myr-Gr for Digibyte and nothing is working out. It would definitely be worth looking into as it's worth mining more then Quark right now, even without the SP enhanced version (using Tpruvot).

for stakes as i remember it was announced for first year 25% than it was goin down for 2nd 3rd. am i wrong? as i remember 2nd year was also 20% or 15%
i didnt check all the messages but i remember we talked about it around here.
everyday we getting good news so i believe prices goin up with big gap.so who is selling now could be sorry after couple days

The way i understand this is. People will want into this and get their 10k ambers to be eligible in the revenue sharing. When the company keep on selling their shares at higher prices, others will see an opportunity to jump in via the market. If they fill that 250k amber at 21k sat, the market should shortly follow around if som1 wants in cheaper then their sell price. The thing is there is very few ambers on the sell walls it could fly realy quickly when no1 expecting it. I like what I see so far. You have to remember that people are either not in the know on Ambercoin or haven't done the math on their return. I am actually shocked that rounds last as long as they do. With that said, I try to buy as much as I can afford because one day the community is going to wake up and realize, damn, I should have gotten into this when it was cheap. Once Ambercoin hits the main stream people will be scrambling over themselves to get in on the dividend. At least that's my crazy imagination. -pokeytex |

I have been doing some more research during the evening.
I might go with three EVGA 970 SC cards instead.
It will be alot easier to sell the cards when that day comes and i will save some space.
From what i found in this thread a descent 970 will do around 18Mhs Quark at around 280w ?
I definitely recommend the EVGA 970 SSC - cards. I run (3) 970's, (9) 750 ti's, and (1) 960. The (3) rigs pull about 1400 watts of power. That includes the motherboards, cpus, gpus, etc. I run all cards at stock clocks and pull about 115Mhs Quark. I like the EVGA's! -pokeytex |

LOL - It is a great ride. I think some folks get antsy (nervous) and dump into buy orders thinking they're going to lose out some how. Anyway. I have been there to pick up some of those Ambers. Whatever someone's motivation, it is their business. One day I might need to purchase something. I feel good to know that someone will announce my sells for everyone. next stupid assumption is wrong system clock, it certainly can cause orphans in hybrid coins, maybe pure pow as well Hrmmm - checked and clock is good. Blockchain just downloaded and mining started again. I will give it some time and see if it fixes itself. All seems to be working again. Tks for the help. |

i woke up to a stack of new found blocks, clean and shiny. just check your chain against BE: https://chainz.cryptoid.info/j/I appear to be on the right block height - but I woke up to (23) generated but not accepted blocks. It is the first time it ever happened. I will keep mining and see if it fixes itself. I am mining the quark algo. maybe it's a stupid assumption, but are u sure your wallet is in quark mode ? restart may help anyway Yes it is in Quark mode. I am now resynching the blockchain. |

personally i little worry about it
I heard news on tuesday so i took all my balance tuesday which some people has problems for btc transfers. But nothing happened on my transfer also i transfer around 0.1 btc at the same day. But on local forum there is one guy who try to transfer 10 btc its on pending still. They annaunce they just have problem on btc transfers My theory is that many people are trying to withdraw at one time from Cryptsy so that may be causing the delay issue. Think about it. The news came out from Coinfire, people panic, people withdraw all at once. There may be nothing going on but the perception is trouble. On a side note I withdrew some BTC from Bittrex and it was practically instant. Not sure I buy the BTC network issue. Once again this is only my opinion and not fact. -pokeytex |

Hey guys, thank you for your insight. Its a bit more enlightenening to hear this from a couple of hero members as i figure you guys are less likely to lead me astray. Your both appreciated.
For the time being my cards are mounted to the mobo. My third card has a good enough gap from the other two that it actually (obviously) runs significantly cooler.
When/if i expand on my rig the cards will be on risers and will have more air to breathe.
Ultimately i needed to know if these temps are safe and taking your words for it, ill be alright. Again, thank you for the clarification.
If you have a garage and can get some shelving like this put the MB's on tile which dissipates heat. Spread the GPU's out and use the USB powered risers. The setup is very cheap and effective. Most products are accessible from your local home depot or lowes. This is my rig. In the heart of summer I have an oscillating fan that blows on the rig. It runs pretty cool in the summer but SUPER cold in the winter! Win win.  -pokeytex |
