@zawawa - I tested on my 1070 and the following bat file line nets a total of 120 sol/1070  Cry

gatelessgate.exe --threads 1 --use 1,2 -c stratum+tcp://us-east1.zcash.miningpoolhub.com:20570 -u xxx -p xxx

Looks like we are in the clear on Bittrex!  No more threatening banner!  Shocked

BTW @just2laff, rhinomonkey, pokeytex and sugarfly

Please tell me your favorite altcoins (next to SPR and BTC ofcourse) that you want to see listed in the spreadwallet rightaway.

Dissecting an altcoin (it's specifics, network messages, behaviour etc) as part of "altcoin taxonomy" takes up some time, and is an ongoing process, and I don't want to waste it on altcoins that none of my patrons find useful right now!

Currently I am hard-coding "altcoin-genetics" like this:

edit...

@Georgem - thank you for that offer.  The main coins I am in right now besides Spreadcoin are DMD (Diamond), XVC (Vcash), and PIO (Pioneershares).  Thank you for your consideration.

What do you guys think of this "patronage" idea:

I agree with this 150% - please find another donation below for your efforts.

Thank you Georgem - without your efforts there would not be a spreadcoin to talk about!

Btw - very nice preview video!
226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Woodcoin [LOG] Pure Skein POW, Logarithmic Release, No Premine nor ICO on: December 06, 2016, 12:05:26 PM
Does anyone have a Windows wallet binary that doesn't set off all of the virus alarms?

Hmm can you give some more details on the scan or findings?  I understand some scanners throw an alert when discovering satoshi mining code, but if something else is going on here we better get to the bottom of it.  Even if it is that, we can tweak it to get rid of the alert in a new compilation.

Thanks.

@funkenstein - this is the error I keep getting...

Nicehash just released a miner that's supposed to do over 250 on a 1070. Can anyone hack it to run on other pools?

What link?

Only 7 more days to go . Hold onto your PIO Smiley

What are you talking about?what will happen after 7 days? Are you from the official pio team?

coldfusion is a longterm supporter...  Wink

But yes... The BETA is planned for the 25th... (could be few days later, found some issues that needs attention.)

I hope this clears some things up  Wink

I've had my code reviewed by 2 old collegues I have a lot of respect for, and learned about 50% of my crafts from..

Without going into detail to much.. There are some things I need to rewrite from scratch.. I hope you all understand I take things very seriously when it comes down to security issues.. Long story short.. I was advised not to go BETA yet, and improve the code system even further.. I will keep you all updated on the progress..

I do want to apologize for the delay.. Maybe it's better to work without setting dates..

@BanzaiBTC - I for one would like a secure exchange - so if a problem is found that is understandable.  In regard to setting dates - don't do concrete - just give relative time lines.  example - beta will be ready in 2-4 weeks or 1-2 months - something like that!
230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v7.4 (Windows/Linux) on: November 25, 2016, 01:01:57 PM
UPD 2 Mr.Claymore I can repeat this bug now. It happens only with "big" config files and happens only when killing the EthMan.exe process in the Task manager. I also see that EthMan is trying to save the config file, even if it is killed abnormally. And I suppose it just has not enough time to finish the save operation and flush the disk cash.

Why do you kill EthMan from TaskMan? EthMan saves data at exit and it can cause this issue. EthMan cannot detect that you kill it abnormally, TaskMan sends normal WM_CLOSE message firstly, in Win7 it waits then, don't know about Win10.

@Claymore - do you have any plans to incorporate the Nvidia Zcash miner into your dual miner?  I really like your dual miner but would also like to mine Zcash at the same time.

I guess 4 threads per GPU were just too many.
If the new version is not working for you, let me know which video card you are using *with the memory size*, and I will change settings accordingly.

I just uploaded new Windows binaries with the most recent updates:

https://github.com/zawawawa/silentarmy

I can clearly see now why other devs kept saying a major rewrite is necessary.
Since other devs seem pretty busy, I will tackle this task myself.
Advice/tips/pointers/feedback are much appreciated.

Hrmm same - 0's across the board.  Did a parameter change by chance for the bat file?  I was using:

@echo off
setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0
setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
silentarmy --use 1,2  -c stratum+tcp://zcl.suprnova.cc:4042 -u pokeytex.cgar -p x

@zawawa I feel an uncontrollable urge to tip you!  Thank you so much for your hard work making my EVGA 1070's rock.  Please post a BTC address.  I will send you .05 BTC as a tip.  I know it is not a lot but if a 100 Nvidia users do that that would be a sweet pay day!  Grin
235  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: FLYCOIN ANN : Mandatory update to V2.4.3 (Nov 17 2016) on: November 20, 2016, 09:01:12 PM
Go to bed get up late, miss 30 posts.
Our assumption initially was the malicious code
was a false positive but, Vegas jumped on it to
investigate when the 1st report was made on the thread.

One thing about Vegas - he is always is out to protect you
the users and holders of FlyCoin and, of XDE2 coin.

The results are the process worked. Questions were asked,
Users were immediately warned, investigation made of code
by 2 developers, explanations posted.

All in all, Vegas, Griffith, and everyone involved handled
it very professionally. False positives can occur but, better
to be safe than sorry.

So aside from the "false positive" why are your and vegas's anti-keyloggers disabling?

Frankly Im sick to my stomach and heading to bed.

Vegas

Take care Vegas..

Fingers crossed this is all a big misunderstanding..  Undecided

@vegas - I did a time consuming scan of all of my drives last night with Avast and Malwarebytes.  Nothing turned up fishy in my Flycoin folder.  With that said - I never downloaded wallet 2_4_3.  My last wallet download was 2_4_2.

Hehe - Some people are getting the word and buying their PIO from Yobit!  There has been a lot more action on the exchange the past couple days!  Black Friday release!  Unfortunately, I will be sleeping on the couch with a turkey food baby!  Grin
238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: November 14, 2016, 11:18:37 PM
Right now 32MH on dagger earns more than 140s/s equihash.

Fast cuda equihashminer has fallen from 'urgently needed' to 'nice to have' category.

@antantti what is the best way to mine Eth (dagger I assume?) for 1070's?
239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: November 14, 2016, 11:46:18 AM
1070 are still good at mining zcash if you have cheap electricity even better, and anyway they have greater resell value than amd but it depend on the brand also

if everything will turn not profitable i'll sell them and wait for something better to mine or directly waiting for volta

@amph - what is volta?

Nvidia Zcash miner for Windows with dev fee:
https://forum.z.cash/t/cuda-equihash-miner-with-devfee/6492
1070 ~ 55 sol.
Did anyone try this?   Thx

Yes . Works with windows 7 but not with windows 10 .

2 gtx 1080 + 1 gtx 1060 => 165 sols/s .

Not bad ! But i suppose that it can be largely  improved !

On the other hand , overclocking has only a small impact on hashrate .

maybe i'm missing something but i'm doing only 230 sol with six 1070, what is the correct number of thread to use here?

Also have the same problem - (1) machine (2) evga gtx 1070 sc - 120 sols/s, (2) machine (5) evga gtx 1070 sc - 215 sols/s, (3) machine (5) evga gtx 1070 sc - 215 sols/s - very weird!
