Bittrex delisting is for sure a big hit at first, but the coin is prepared. We still got livecoin, crex24, cryptobridge exchanges and with DMDv4  a bittrex relisting is possible.

https://crex24.com/exchange/DMD-BTC

I have used this site before with no issues.  There just needs to be a market maker.

I know the new wallet is out, however, how do I switch to it and keep my stake rate I have been working hard to grow?  Is there any tutorial?
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Nexus - Pure SHA3 + CPU/GPU + nPoS + 15 Active Innovations + More to Come on: February 26, 2019, 11:21:28 AM
jesus you crybabies! im thinking about buying into this project but all the crying is discouraging. has anyone checked coincodecap? https://coincodecap.com/ NXS is rankes #70 thats pretty good. it shows the devs are working on it. pokeytex keep bashing them and your investment will go further down. i personally am sizing this project up and i think it has potential. its .29 with such a low supply it could easily go to $29 thats 100x and i think that this next bull run is going to be crazier than 2017/18 because of the hundreds of millions the institutional investors are spending to buy in. get ready people the bear mkt is over and its upside from here. stop bashing your investment. you did good to hang on through 2018 now just hang tight. i have held since 2017 and i have 70 different coins some went to shit but im not discouraged.

LOL - I am NOT bashing the project, however, I am bashing the stupid comment from the person above me.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Nexus - Pure SHA3 + CPU/GPU + nPoS + 15 Active Innovations + More to Come on: February 24, 2019, 05:59:06 PM
One year ago today Nexus was worth $2.18, or .00021367 BTC

As I type this it is worth $0.29, or .00007220 BTC

This is what happens when you constantly change "leadership" and have no business plan, no marketing plan, etc.

To the idiots who say "the price doesn't matter right now" what about paying devs?  How many devs and other employees has this project lost in the past year?

"Bear market" doesn't explain going down this much either.

How long until Tritium is "tested" and the average user can download and install it?

If you believe satellites are launching in March I have a bridge to sell you.  And the gutless "leaders" won't admit it's not happening.  Colin will just blame daddy (Vector) when it doesn't happen.

Colin needs to step down from leading this project.  He's demonstrated horrible judgment time and time again.  But everyone worships him like some cult leader.

All of this wisdom from a (9) activity noob?  Show us who you really are!

First Share Payment is done. It's not much obviously since we're just starting out here. Rome was not built in a day Wink

Received my percent.  Thank you!
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SpreadCoin | Decentralize Everything (decentralized blockexplorer coming) on: January 19, 2019, 02:48:42 PM
No explorer. No exchange. No development. No plans.

SPR is finally dead

LOCK DEV UP!

Why are you saying to lock the dev up?  What did he do exactly?  I am curious.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][HLM] HELIUM - Decentralized Services Digital Networks - GOVERNANCE LIVE on: January 17, 2019, 11:20:24 PM
We were just made aware that Cryptopia has suffered a hack. ...

Well, it was their turn wasn’t it?....
What is the response from HELIUM about this hacking? are they planning to enter another exchange?

We are on another exchange - amsterdex - there is a btc/hlm pair - just need people to start selling there lol.

They are on maintenance in light of the Cryptopia hack.  They are doing a security audit to be safe.  Should be back up on Friday.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XCN] Cryptonite - NEW Thread | 1st mini-blockchain coin | Bounties! on: January 17, 2019, 12:15:10 PM
Hello all.

We were recently added to a new exchange.  Sign up and check out the features.

https://amsterdex.com/exchange?market=xcn

Hi pokeytex.  Smiley  How you doing?  Ok Will check out the new exchange ...thx.  Smiley

Looks like it's in maintenance now: they probably want to be sure not to be vulnerable to hacks like Cryptopia ;-)

LOL - that is exactly whats happening.  The developer got spooked with the Cryptopia hack and is running a security audit.  He anticipates re-opening this Friday.

Hello @tbearhere - it's been a while!

To All - Nexus has been listed on a new exchange

https://amsterdex.com/home

I tested a deposit and set up a small sell side.  It all works.  Check it out.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Nexus - Pure SHA3 + CPU/GPU + nPoS + 15 Active Innovations + More to Come on: November 14, 2018, 11:34:08 AM
Tritium will be more than wallet, it is more than any project can release at the moment. Wow such amazing, but we all on Nexus knew that this is what we are going to get. Long live Nexus. Hold, stake, enjoy.

Well that's what I want to believe too but frankly the people that have been hodling are not exactly enjoying themselves... It's painful for anyone who (still) believe in NXS to see prices so low. And they keep on falling too.
Let's hope that changes soon.

The only way that changes is if you buy when the prices are "so low".
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [AMDEX] Amsterdex Shares - Exchange Dividend Payment - Platform Finished - ICO B on: November 14, 2018, 02:45:24 AM
In accordance with its name Amsterdex is this really established in the Netherlands?
Because there are many Exchange companies on behalf of their name from country A but their headquarters is in country B.

Yes, we are really based there... We we're formerly known as Pioneershares, and are around since 2016... Look us up..

Ik kan 't wel in 't Nederlands overnemen als je dat nodig vind? Al begrijp je daar waarschijnlijk niet al te veel van...  Grin

@BanzaiBTC - good to see everything moving forward again.  Do we have a deadline to swap or can I do it in a week or so?  I am re-configuring some machines and can use a bit of time.

I was started brand new dmd wallet because of issues with my old wallet and it was working 5 days :/
Now I have another time the same issue.

Staking is not active
MultiSend Not active

What is wrong with this wallet? What I should do with that? I have newest wallet version.

staking not active is not a failure
it could have many reasons
for example it could be u would a POS block and u dont have other coins who are mature in ur wallet
so logical staking is inactive until the coins who founda block are mature again

Ok but I've got the same issues with my old wallet which was working fine almost year and than after some update it started problems.
Aftter few weeks staking was stopped just like that.
After that there was problems with wrong coins balance, with sync after update, and wallet was regulary off because of some system error.

That's why I moved my coins and made brand new wallet with latest version and it was working good few weeks and than after last update problems are started again...

Hello, I wouldn't call it a problem with the network.  My wallet has been running with NO issues over 5 months or so.  I can't remember the last time I had to do anything with it.  It may be a hardware issue or software issue for you.  I am sure one of the devs will get you sorted out.  You may want to join slack for a faster response?

15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: DIY FPGA Mining rig for any algorithm with fast ROI on: November 07, 2018, 01:11:21 AM
I designed an air duct for use with open air cases that can be 3d printed. It will mount to a 120mm fan and sit the BCU inside of it. This should work for VCUs as well but the power header on the vcus is facing the top not the back so it wouldn't be ideal.

@senseless thank you for this.  I ordered (2) to be printed and will let you know the outcome once I receive them and my BCU's! :-)
For my information, what pricing did you get ?

Hello - I am using this service - 3dhubs - and he switched me from ABS to Eastman AM3300 - it has very high thermal properties.  The total cost for (2) units, printed and shipped to me is $152.21.

Here is a completion photo:

Now that it is on Cryptopia and MNO.

We have a discord too at: https://discordapp.com/invite/SfzUAvU.

We had a vote to move over the whole community some months ago. We're DAO enough for that to never happen but meanwhile feel free to join us on Discord: https://discordapp.com/invite/SfzUAvU

When clicked, the instant invite says expired.

19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][HLM] HELIUM on: October 20, 2018, 11:05:34 PM
It seems like the Helium project is about to grow. The price is rising over 150 percent in the last 24 hours, but the trading volume is still very low. I think Helium needs a bigger exchange.

LMAO - Let's enjoy the couple we JUST got on before exclaiming we need another exchange!
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ¤ DMD Diamond 3.0 | Scarce ¤ Valuable ¤ Secure | PoS 3.0 | Masternodes 65% on: September 19, 2018, 11:57:31 AM
Regarding the wallet crash problem after a PC shutdown, it is possible to block a shutdown until an application has been closed in a clean manner.
More about this function is here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/desktop/api/Winuser/nf-winuser-shutdownblockreasoncreate

Blocks corruption is only possible if the computer suddenly shuts down and synchronization is not yet complete.
If the wallet sync has reached 100% then the sudden power off does not harm the blockchain.
In other cases, any other causes of corruption are related to the automatic updates feature, which roughly terminates many system processes.

The easiest way to protect against this is to use a properly configured computer with UPS and disabled automatic updates.

For safety net, you can always create your archive with the folders blocks and chainstate and in case of damage to the blockchain, just to replace the data.
Delete old folders and unpack new ones to their place.
Then the re-sync process will only take a few minutes.

Sorry but not...

In my case, EVERY TIME I do a proper windows 10 shutdown, if I forgot to shutdown the wallet first, I get a wallet corruption error and it has to "re-verify" the whole 50 weeks. That is after been stacking for days (meaning, the wallet is fully synchronised)

I have 3 other stacking wallets running on that computer and this is the only one affected...
There is clearly something going on...

Doesn't have windows something similar to the Unix signals that you can subscribe to and close all the files as soon you you get the "shooting down signal"?

Actually thing jut got worst, since it last happened, every time I try to run it now, it aborts with the typical "Windows had encountered an error in this application..."

Any one knows a way to fix that?

Cheers
 MC

if you constantly have these problems, perhaps something with your system settings.
Try using a different location for the DMDv3 folder.
For example, another disk or removable device.
23. Q: Alternative way https://diamond-info.github.io/#q23-altway

It could be that my particular configuration is more prone than others...

BUT that doesn't take away the fact that there is a Fault in the wallet's programming.

I know that this kind of things happen, specially if you are writing something to the disk and the system freezes or the power is cut, but it shouldn't happen if you close the system the right way.

It shouldn't happen because the OS notifies all the programs that it is going to shutdown and they should trap this notification for do their "clean up".

I think there is one of two options; or the wallet is not trapping this signal for "committing" the pending work and close the open files. Or this "cleanup" is taking too long..  Both are a programming issue.

As I said, I stake more coins on the same system and Diamond is the only that gets corrupted when I shutdown the system properly

MC

For what it is worth - I also run Windows 10 64 bit and never have a problem with the wallet corrupting.  Whenever I get the update notice, I shut down all of my wallets, then I restart the computer in update mode.  When I come back, I restart all my wallets with no issues whatsoever.  Try that technique first before just choosing shutdown from the start button.  Also, do you store your wallet.dat and other files on the C: drive or another location?  Mine are saved to the default directory on the C: drive.
