41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH to hold now or not? on: September 27, 2018, 03:34:46 PM
If you are holding ethereum just like me, make sure you are buying more if ether at this low price. Buying ether as it dump will make you feel better because the more low price you buy, the cheaper is your average buy is!

You are right. this date in January some people couldn't afford one ETH. Now it's about 200$. 200$ is what someone can afford to lose if it goes haywire, but imagine if it does a bull run again. Just keep buying little by little now. Any spare money for that bottle of beer etc.
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trading exchange for beginner? on: September 27, 2018, 03:29:39 PM
How beginner can choose there first trading exchange?
Can anyone suggest me for trading exchange because there is a lot of exchanges are available, I m little confused so please suggest me the best trading exchange.

It all depends on the token or coin. You just can't have only one exchange. If you know the token you want to trade, then go to Coinmarketcap to see where it is trading and the higher liquidity. But if it's to trade generally, I'll recommend Binance, Bittrex and for newer coins Bitforex and Idax.
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still believe in the cryptocurrency market? on: September 25, 2018, 08:49:08 AM
If you’re still in crypto after you’ve:

- been scammed
- been dumped on
- woken up in complete shock
- bought the top of a pump
- panic sold the bottom
- listened to Official McScamFee

Say me why do you still believe in the crypto Smiley

The thing About revolution no matter the form, there's always ups and downs. As a well known Investors once said, during the Financial crisis in 2008. The wise ones were investing while the others were scared.

Relate that to Crypto. I'm not saying you should invest, but this is the time to if you wanna. Or at least keep monitoring.
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coins kept in exchange, are they safe? on: September 20, 2018, 11:00:59 PM
Just today Mercatox said they were hacked and coins in hot wallet were stolen.

Yesterday, "Tech Bureau Corp. announced that its cryptocurrency exchange, Zaif, was subject of a major hack resulting in millions of dollars worth of cryptocurrencies stolen" - https://cryptocoin.news/news/another-cryptocurrency-exchange-hacked-20380/

These all goes to show how unsecure some exchanges are. As for me, I prefer to store my currencies in a wallet I have the PK to. That's only when I can sleep easy.

45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are you using ETH for? on: September 20, 2018, 10:40:54 PM
What have you been using your ETH for?

For trading
To buy ICO
For long term investment
Other - explain

To be honest. I just use Eth to be able to transfer my tokens to one wallet or the other or to exchanges. My asset is mostly in Bitcoin.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why you should take bounty campaign seriously on: September 20, 2018, 10:30:06 PM
Bounties can be very profitable. For example, recently one of my friends received almost $6,000 worth of tokens for a single signature bounty campaign, which ran for just 2 months. But at the same time, I have to say that these campaigns can never replace the full-time work. Because there is no guarantee that the bounties are going to last.

Wow. That's a whole lot of money. Well for me I entered into Bounties because I'm a forex trader and needed something to take me off my charts. And I was lucky to find out about bouties. Keeps me busy so I don't look at charts all day, while paying me too. Win-win.
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: will humanity stop using cash on: September 20, 2018, 10:26:04 PM
Yes, this is very good, environmental protection saves resources. But this may take a long process, especially in some backward countries in Africa.

I have no idea why you'd call any country backward. Underdeveloped? Yes. But not backwards. Please let's be respectful.
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Set a goal for yourself on: September 19, 2018, 10:09:18 PM
Crypto is a very good business that can highly profit whoever participate in it with sets goals and determination. It is when you set goals for yourself that you will be able to know when to hold and when to sell. Don't just do crypto with no target of making wholesome profit. I have realized that it those who set goals that will keep moving  even when the road is rough. Set goals that will discipline you in your crypto activities and ginger you toward success in it.
and in fact many new members in this forum are only focused on seeking profits such as participating in a bounty
they just focus on that and don't want to learn really really about crypto and in the end they can't develop

I actually started learning and researching on the Blockchain when I venture into Bounty Article writing. So in a way, bounties have made me know more about Crypto.
49  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When you think of currency what will come to your mind? on: September 19, 2018, 09:58:03 PM
Currency is a name giving to what many people or a country accepted as a sign of payment within their jurisdiction for mode of exchanging things within themselves with a mutual agreement and understanding,

Every region or country come up with different currency that is accepted in their country and also the world to have a uniform mode of payment within themselves, and USD and some other currency like pounds were also accepted around the world.

Bitcoin to me is not a currency but a stock or asset which appreciate in value by way of it's performance in the market , we paired Bitcoin to USD to know it value and for this reason fiat can't be eradicate for bitcoin , but can only be valued as a commodity with usd which is cool to be called asset .

How's Bitcoin not a currency when it can be used to purchase stuff? Bitcoin is a Crypto-Currency. It just isn't widely accepted yet. But like with everything technology, it's only a matter of time.
50  Economy / Economics / Re: Why everyone only invest in the crypto market? on: September 19, 2018, 08:34:52 PM
With the current market downturn certainly the most fundamental thing is to move our assets to other investment tools such as fiat and gold because the risk we receive is very small and our money will not decrease in large numbers but don't forget what happened to Crypto even though many moved their assets but if we don't make a purchase when Crypto's price is below that level it will be very loss because we all often find unnatural prices on Crypto so that such moments are worth following.

With any investment that has a high percentage of gain also has a high percentage of loss. Crypto isn't for the faint in heart. I think the probability of high returns is why people still invest in Crypto. Especially those that don't care about the technology, just the profits they're going to make.
51  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to track changes in rules of bounty campaign? on: September 19, 2018, 08:27:33 PM
Hey guys!

How do you track changes in rules of bounty campaigns? Do you use any telegram channels or websites?

Thank you in advance Wink
First of all, bounty programs do really mostly being posted on this forum itself which means it would be just normal for you to check out every now and then on OP if theres a certain update came from the team or by manager itself. If you don't like to miss out any updates or informations then seeking out on telegram channels would be always a good option too.

For most of those who only participate in twitter and facebook campaigns I think they are not going to read the OP as they just keep reporting. You will notice this because even when the campaign ends, they still keep reporting in the bounty threads. Only those in signature campaigns are monitoring the rules changes as sometimes, the manager do change things.

LMAO okay that part about twitter and Facebook hunters still reporting even after the campaign has closed made me laugh. It's so true. Lol.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Hunters Dump Always? on: September 19, 2018, 08:23:00 PM
Most bounty hunters dump their token immediately they receive them in their wallet. This is such a nasty behavior from their part because they are contributing to the downturn in the market. The more you dump a token the less value the token has in the market. I huge all the bounty hunters to at least hold their token for a while before dumping it to savage the price in the market.

Bounty Hunters aren't the ones contributing to the downturn in the market. How can a 3% of bounty tokens dump and reduce price for 97%. It's high time people stopped blaming Bounty hunters. Pre Sale Investors actually buy more tokens at a lesser price than ICOs. And those are the ones with enough % to dump and shake the price of the tokens.
53  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to track changes in rules of bounty campaign? on: September 19, 2018, 05:25:14 PM
I usually use Telegram to track.. But instead of the normal telegram, I use Multigram. With Multigram you can Favorite groups. And there's a separate tab for announcements.

What I do is I favourite the bounties I'm in, mute normal chats and leave just pinned messages to notify me. This is to reduce the noise and be alerted when something of note is being said.

Hope this helps.
54  Economy / Economics / Re: Why everyone only invest in the crypto market? on: September 19, 2018, 05:19:31 PM
I personally keep a fair share of my investments in shares and bonds, but the absolute majority remains in crypto.
You see these stories of people who invest their life savings into Bitcoin and then go crazy when it drops a couple of thousand dollars.

That just seems crazy to me, how anyone can do that. I think most people would not recommend you put everything in crypto.

Well those people are probably those that "heard" Crypto is a get rich quick investment. They're people that do Ponzi schemes. They probably bought the first and saw it appreciated and then used their whole savings to buy more BTC so as to cash out faster. All stems from greed tbh
55  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When you think of currency what will come to your mind? on: September 18, 2018, 09:55:13 PM
I still think of Fiat. Crypto still has a long way to go to be widely available accepted. Also it being only online will make the adoption slower. What about people in not so developer countries that don't have fast internet for transactions.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Both Bitcoin and Ethereum are going to lose on: September 18, 2018, 07:55:53 PM
For now, as far as they're still the base tokens for ICOs, they're not going anywhere anytime soon.

I believe other currencies with improved transaction speed etc might come up with better use cases, but it'll take a whole lot of time to over throw those 2 Kings... It's like the dollar vs other currencies.
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: will humanity stop using cash on: September 18, 2018, 07:41:19 PM
It's very possible. I'm sure some people didn't believe Paper money would replace Gold too. Here we are. What I've learnt is with technology, anything can happen.
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why so many bounty campaign are extending? on: September 18, 2018, 09:36:42 AM
In my opinion I think the reasons most ICOs are extending is because unlike before where people think Blockchain is a get rich quick scheme. Now investors now peruse a project very well before they invest. And tbh most ICOs out there are just recycling ideas of others. Unique projects are still getting sold out.
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I want to protect MyEtherWallet from hacking!!! on: September 18, 2018, 06:48:32 AM
It's very difficult to hack a wallet except they get a hold of you Private key. So what I'll advice.

If you use a desktop, only use Metamask to enter Decentralized exchanges. Don't give anyone your PK. I mean Anyone. (Well except your kids as a will).

Avoid logging in Everytime to your Wallet. If you want to see your incoming and outgoing tokens, use Eth Explorer of your wallet address.

Then get a separate wallet of your very precious coins and another for the others.

Then if you're always on the move, get ImToken.

For Prevention of Phishing sites, download Metacert it's a browser extension, when you're on a real Crypto site, it turns green. Otherwise it stays blank. It prevents you putting your PK in phishing sites.
