we're not haters we just haven't been paid To clear some of the rabble, there aren't conspiracy nuts, there are current and currently-waiting customers with valid questions. Things unanswered: If people don't take the Widow deal, what's up for hosting customers? There is a deadline and no answers there. They will get to keep hosting
If hosting is stopping for GAW customers, why is it continuing for Zeus customers? To be more specific, hosting was a big deal for GAW, but our current info says GAW isn't offering hosting anymore but GAW is the company offering hosting for Zeus customers. It's confusing. Hosting is not stopping, its paused until our two new data centers are finished.
If we're buying pre-orders, can more detailed specs be released? Software support? We will release that next week.
People are coming out and saying shipping + hosting is getting better - awesome, that means GAW is listening. But there are still important questions like the above which haven't been addressed. We hem and haw at each other but questions aren't being answered. |

Hey Guys, Wanted to provide an update for everyone. I have heard you loud and clear. You're upset because we talked about price protection and a buy back program that we did not do with the last set of miners we released. While we ran in to some unexpected bumps, that's not an excuse. I should have figured out a way to make it work and taken care of those that have taken care of us. For that, you have my apologies. So here is what we are going to do to fix it: We are creating an upgrade path for all blade hosted customers that ordered before May 5th (before the price change). You will be able to upgrade from a 5.2MH/s Gridseed Blade to a 13MH/s Black Widow (week 3) for $500! Here are the rules: This offer will only be available until May 18th 12 AM Eastern. It's only available while our stock lasts. At the time of your order, we will take your hosted blade offline. The Black Widow you will be purchasing will be shipped to you (not hosted) by the Batch 3 Ship Date (June 9th). Those that want to keep hosting will need to sit tight for, but we will have something cool for you in the future. You will not be forgotten We will always do right by our customers, and we are in this for the long haul. As you may be aware, our astounding growth over the last few months has lead to an explosive growth in the number and variety of customer PayPal transactions. These payment, pre-order, which range in size from a few to hundreds of thousands of dollars, and originating from over 100 countries has created certain issues with PayPal regarding customer identity, fraud and regulatory authority compliance. We are actively engaged with PayPal to expeditiously resolve these matters. Please bear with us while we work towards an early restoration of PayPal facilities to our customers.

I have a small update. A VP as Gridseed just asked that they can do to make this latest price drop right. Here is what I said: Its pretty simple. First be fair to your customers. Stop charging as much as you can, just because you think you can. Its clear thats the case when you can drop the price by almost half in a few days.
Plus, this strategy is not going to work going forward anyways as new competitors are showing up. They may be small, but we (GAW) have the buying power to bring them global. Plus, I have a war chest of up to 100mm from my partners are Cantor to support other companies if I need to.
We need to do right by our customers, and what been happening is not that.
Specifically, with this situation. We should have the last two weeks of blade orders prorated to the new price so I can reimburse those customers. I don’t plan, or need, to keep a dime. I want to make it right to the customers.
Going forward the pricing should update on regular scheduled intervals. This way we can plan for this. And the customers can then decide when the right time to buy is.
