It seems they are cheaper elsewhere... A week after receiving two blades from GAW, Zoomhash now has them for $1100. Is there price protection there?
There is another reseller selling for $829 including shipping. I have seen them also, but their forum also has numerous complaints about getting DOA units, then having to pay for the shipping, and taking weeks for a return. Though some get lucky and have no issues. Also no warranty at all, if it dies it's over, can only return DOA units.

I want to let everyone know that I am actively working on your payments and you will receive them tonight (with some slight delay)! I've had a few run-ins with some fraudulent transactions and other small bumps, but overall it's looking good!
Thank you all once more for being our GAWesome customers!
Have a wonderful evening,
Rami - CMO

I have a small update. A VP at Gridseed just asked that they can do to make this latest price drop right. Here is what I said: Its pretty simple. First be fair to your customers. Stop charging as much as you can, just because you think you can. Its clear thats the case when you can drop the price by almost half in a few days.
Plus, this strategy is not going to work going forward anyways as new competitors are showing up. They may be small, but we (GAW) have the buying power to bring them global. Plus, I have a war chest of up to 100mm from my partners are Cantor to support other companies if I need to.
We need to do right by our customers, and what been happening is not that.
Specifically, with this situation. We should have the last two weeks of blade orders prorated to the new price so I can reimburse those customers. I don’t plan, or need, to keep a dime. I want to make it right to the customers.
Going forward the pricing should update on regular scheduled intervals. This way we can plan for this. And the customers can then decide when the right time to buy is.

I like what you are trying with gridseed. They did they exact same kind of overnight almost 50% pricedrop with the 5-chip miners. That's also exactly the reason why I didn't buy a blade or any extra 5-chip miners after my first order. I don't want to buy something that depreciates 50% overnight without any warning. I know asics depreciate fast, but it shouldn't be that fast.
I am considering ordering some new miners from you guys. One thing I don't understand is that the Fury, Falcon and Black Widow seem to be the exact same case, with 2x 8 pin (pci-e?) power. Is this correct, or are the cases actually different? If not, are the different miners upgradeable to higher speeds (Fury to Black Widow to Falcon)?
What I also would like to know is if the chip really is your design and product? So no sudden price drops from suppliers etc?

P.P.S. If you didn't submit a valid BTC address or submitted an actual address instead (you know who you are! ), I sent you an email requesting a Bitcoin address so I can send you your promotional payout. that's pretty funny, maybe, besides their btc, you should send them some chocolate btc coins by mail by the way, I bought yesterday 2 1mhs miners with one 5 off coupon only to find out minutes later that there was a 20 off coupon can i cancel and replace my order with a 20 off coupon ?

Now if GAW really wants to get jiggy with it, create a really kick ass pool for GAW customers only.

So the GAW branded miners do not contain the Gridseed technology? Or are those GAW miners made by Gridseed but rebranded by GAW? Just curious how that works?

So GAW Miners now manufactures their own Miners? If so that is great news!
