41  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If you want to be successful in trading.. on: May 07, 2018, 01:20:28 AM
I have seen a tip from somewhere that in order for you to be become successful always in your trading, you have to to a sniper rather than a machine gunner.. If you trade always see all opportunity, every indicator, every momentum, etc. before starting to trade. Don't be hasty to trade every signal day. You just have to find that one trade that can bring you good profits and not painful losses.

This is actually very underrated advise and i think a lot more people should listen to it and I wish I did.  The main reason people lose a lot of money is because they think prices will keep rising and so they stay invested due to the fear of missing out.  The result is a crash that wipes out a lot of their profits.  People should set profit goals and sell at those goals and then rebuy at a lower price.  This will minimize risk thus minimizing losses.

Hello, guys!
Could you tell me how do you earn stakes while participating in Signature campaign? I know that we should post the signature and makes posts but what they look like?

Im currently participating in a signature campaign for a cryptocurrency called DateCoin.  So far it's been a great experience and the Campaign Manager, Avante, has been very professional.  To find these campaigns you can go to the service section under marketplace.  The problem is that your a newbie member and campaign do not accept newbie members.  If youd like to participate in these campaigns youll have to get to a full-member or higher and youll have to have a quality post history.
With that being said, dont start spamming the forum trying to get your post count and merit up.  Just post when you think you can make a solid contribution to the thread and enjoy your time on the forum.
43  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bulls are back on: May 05, 2018, 05:21:13 PM
I dont think we're experiencing a bull run just yet because the volumes are not that significantly high but we definitely are experiencing a recovery (hopefully its not a bull trap though).  With that being said, Eth and BCH have experienced a lot more gain than bitcoin which leads me to believe that they were either way under valued or that some of that money will flow back to bitcoin and we'll see bitcoin at 14-15k in the near future.
44  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin the best Long-term Hold? on: May 05, 2018, 05:01:08 PM
yes of course bitcoin is great for long-term savings because I think bitcoin has a very limited total supply that makes bitcoin prices from year to year incurs a very significant increase and provide benefits for those who have bitcoin when buying cheap prices.

Although i do think bitcoin will never go away and is a decent long term investment (crypto wise) i have to disagree with you on the fact that its not the best crypto investment long term.  In my opinion, Ether is the best long term investment due to the fundamentals behind it.  Its the only crypto that provides real value by allowing you spend the token in order to run any arbitrary program.
45  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do I stop panic selling cryptocurrency? on: May 05, 2018, 02:07:10 PM
The though process behind panic selling and panic buying are not unique to crypto investing and they can be found in any market such as the stock market.  However, due to the volatility of crypto and the massive ranges at which the prices move, these habits are more apparent in the crypto world.  Newbie investors will have to get over these habits and like you said, the need to learn to hodl.
46  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WHAT IF the GOVERNMENT wins over BITCOIN? on: May 05, 2018, 02:04:11 PM
I definitely think some regulations that will affect the trading/investing aspects of cryptocurrencies will be put into place and they need to be put into place.  However, i dont see the U.S government actually regulating the use and capabilities of cryptocurrencies because it would be too hard to track everyone using crypto and those people can virtually make themselves 100% anonymous.
47  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Some Gurus still think Bitcoin can go 5500 level! on: May 05, 2018, 12:53:42 PM
These self proclaimed "gurus" dont know what theyr taking about and just spreading FUD in order to suit their own agenda.  If i were you i would completely ignore what these "gurus" have to say and i would base my price predictions on the technological aspects of bitcoin and crypto.  Furthermore, it is still very possible that bitcoin could hit $5500 but i honestly doubt it will.
48  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I have about 50$ where to invest ? on: May 05, 2018, 12:51:06 PM
Hello;

I'm new in bitcoin and like to start investing on it .. I have about 50$ and want a good company to invest on it ..

I made some searches but don't know where to start ..

Can anyone help me ?!

Thanks alot

Honestly, $50 is a very small amount to start investing into crypto with but it is still doable.  Due to the volatility of crypto i think you could make serious money if you make a few lucky trades with some cheap volatile altcoins.  If I were you i would convert that $50 into btc and send it over to poloniex and begin trading.
49  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you see this one coming? on: May 05, 2018, 12:48:40 PM
Hey BCTalkers!

I am pretty sure everyone is in the hope that bitcoin and other crypto currencies should start spiking now. But do you think it will happen this month or the later one?

I think yes it will happen because bitcoin is behaving that way only. The prices and market cap is growing day by day with at most steps and thus creating good stability. I mean its not too rush as well its not too slowness in the same.

Systematic growth is what going on and thats why I do think that it will be filled with goodness in the price soon.

Any thoughts about this one.

I think were definitely in a recovery phase and we should be breaking $10k bitcoin today, at this current rate of rise.  However, nobody really knows for sure what were experiencing right now and for all we know this could be another bull trap.  Hopefully, it is not and i really dont think it is due to the fact that BCH and ETH have risen substantially over the past month.
50  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin too complicated for ordinary folks? on: May 03, 2018, 09:50:17 PM
With mainstream media still taking an interest in Bitcoin, do you think we have lost perspective of what is important, and are there to much focus on price? or do you think we will find back to the possibility of bitcoin and blockchain?
For inspiration i included my article on the matter
https://cryptoms.online/2018/01/30/is-bitcoin-too-complicated-for-ordinary-folks/

I dont think bitcoin or crypto in general is too complicated at all but many of the older people in the world will probably have trouble using it and will definitely have trouble understanding it.  I think crypto is a thing for the younger generation but as the older generation dies out, the more technologically literate, will fill up the world which is when crypto will become more popular.
51  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will cryptos be so volatile forever? on: May 03, 2018, 05:28:05 PM
When will we reach the state of more of less stable cryptocurrencies or it is in their nature and will never end?

It's really hard to tell at this point because even after the prices rose significantly, the prices were still very volatile.  The reason for this is more certainly due to the fact that money is coming in due to hype rather than the technological aspects of crypto.  In order for prices to stabilize i think we'll need to get rid of the get rich quick investors and need more educated investors to enter the market.

I definitely think were experiencing a slight recovery but theres no telling how long it will last.  From what i see as of now, a lot of the altcoins are booming while bitcoin is being left behind which means that bitcoin will have to experience a large spike in the near future.  With that being said, i still dont think were out of the woods yet and the market could crash back down again.
53  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Thoughts on Straight HODL vs Trading on: May 03, 2018, 04:22:29 PM
What I mean by straight HODL is that your hold through the crashes and the rises until you inevitably cash our and by trading I mean that you hold for a few months and then sell into fiat and wait for the expected dip/recession.
What i've noticed over the past years is that if I was less greedy and just cashed out after a reasonable profit and then held until the inevitable crashed, I would have made much more money than if i just held or bought another coin.

An example of this is when I bought eth at 475 and sold at 1380.  Right after I sold I bought ltc at 230 thinking that it was gonna skyrocket after some of the money from the eth will flow back into the other coins.  The problem with that was that the entire market crashed and so if I were to just hold my fiat i would have been able to easily double my money.

Let me know what your guys's thoughts are on this.
Whether straight HODL or trading, it’s all good and none of them is bad. I know a lot of my friends that are making a lot of money from trading and also using HODL as a form savings and growing their wealth. So if you’re good in trading cause that’s the main biz, you can do it and store the rest of your coins and HODL them to grow a bigger amount of money. But if you’re not a good trader then HODL is your best bet, you can still trade a little bit to be trying your luck as you learn it.

I've came to more of a realization that what your saying is actually very true.  I definitely have not had any success daily trading but for those who have, i bet theyr making a killing.  I think the only thing stopping me and many others from succeeding at daily trading is knowledge barrier (like you said) which will only come from trial and error which costs a lot of money.
54  Economy / Economics / Re: New investor and prices on: May 02, 2018, 02:36:46 AM
If we have less new investors, so the prices tend to fluctuate less? How much dependent of new investors the prices are ?

Price fluctuation isnt really dependent on new investors, but it can be.  It's usually a combination of that and current investors putting their money back in.  The reason prices arent fluctuation right now is because people are sitting on their crypto or fiat and watching the market to see when they should do a trade or they might just be waiting for a price to buy in at or sell.
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Hodl ether ? on: May 02, 2018, 01:22:53 AM
Should I hodl Ether or sell and invest in something else ? And if yes, then what should that new thing be ?

Even though im not currently invest in Ether, i still think it is the best long term investment out of any cryptocurrency.  No other crypto allows you to use token to run any smart contract on a network powered by miners.  The combined computation power of all the miners is a very valuable asset which is what gives Ether its inherent value.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Shall I buy ETH? on: May 02, 2018, 12:37:58 AM
Is buying ETH currently a good idea, or should I be going with Bitcoin?

I think Ether is the most valuable altcoin and will experience the most growth over the years compared to any other cryptocurrency.  Ether actually has actual value, unlike most other altcoins, because it is basically fuel for running smart contracts on the Ethereum Network.  Many people compare it to oil which is a very good comparison because oil is our main source of energy in the world as of now.
57  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 4 factors that could destroy your Trading on: May 01, 2018, 10:43:29 PM
I think greed and fear are truly the main the factors that negatively influence peoples gains when it comes trading.  The invincibility feeling that people get when they prices rise astronomically is what causes them to miss out of gains because many of them end up holding thinking the prices are gonna keep going up when in reality they end up crashing.  Furthermore, the fear of actually buying in or the fear of further losses is what causes people to lose significant amounts of money because people end up either never investing, or they sell during a crash because they think its going to 0.
58  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The Bear may be good for us on: May 01, 2018, 10:37:05 PM

We are in a bear market, (granted, it's easing up a bit), but it's a huge dip, since we had the $20,000 ATH hit sometime in December 2017. So here are the Silver linings in the dark clouds..
More FUD resistance. Well consider this just like a vaccination. We all have that Fever that follows vaccines. But the good thing is it shoots up our resistance, our nerve. To handle bad news
Okay, at least with passing time, we are seeing less of useless forks. Why? I truly believe by next bull run, most useless forks will fail to gain use and market shares and would eventually drop off, and original ideas will dominate
No more shitcoin.  Coins like bitcoin gold, diamond, platinum, sapphire, ruby etc etc. If this market continues for a 1 more month, we would be rid of shitcoins.
No more moon-heads. This particular issue can really rankle me up. You won't read 2 posts without a 'when moon' or 'when lambo' post popping up somehow. Especially in Telegram threads
Mass adoption. Technology will advance. I With tech advance we will see adoption rates going up. Technology like Ripple, Nano would get some look-ins
The real HODLers would be shown. And this would show peeps that really believe in projects. Not just 'get-rich-quick' guys

I think bear markets are a good way to make people realize that they arent invincible and that they can lose what they gained just as quickly or even quicker than they gained it.  It definitely helped me come to this realization and now i'll be aiming for more realistic gains next time a bull run occurs.
59  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Advice For New Comers To The Crypto Verse on: May 01, 2018, 10:34:09 PM
I can provide some information about trading/investing in crypto.  The first thing that you need to realize before investing in crypto is that prices are very volatile so if prices spike in a direction that doesnt favor you, you shouldnt be too worried because they can easily go up back up just as quick.  Also you should know when to sell, some people see prices rise 300% and dont end up selling because they think prices will keep rising.  This is what causes people to lose some money because prices end up crashing after such a big rise.
60  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Possibilities of regulating cryptos... on: May 01, 2018, 07:15:01 PM
The fact that digital assets like cryptocurrency uses blockchain technology gives it the advantage of not being controlled by anyone even the government. That is why some governments prefer to ban cryptos just not to give oppurtunity for bad people to use it for their bad motives/actions. Regulating cryptos are not as simple as peeling of a banana, it'll take long talking and discussion.

As to the left and right scams involving the name of bitcoin, fraud and other illegal doings that bitcoin's name is being dragged, what are the possibilities that cryptos will be regulated? Thank you..

I think crypto trading and crypto transactions might very well be regulated in the future. Regulation when it comes to trading/investing is already in place when it comes to dealing with USD but i think new regulations will be implemented to cover non USD trading too.  Futhermore, i think governments will try to implement regulation to remove the anonymity of transactions because it limits their ability to track money.
