41  Economy / Reputation / Re: QS - 10 years on the forum on: June 15, 2024, 12:03:35 AM
Sadly, some of the forum members I had the opportunity to get to know and talk to have died. I honestly cried when I saw that o_e_l_e_o had locked his goodbye/farewell thread.

Wow, what an exceptional piece of shit you still are after all those years. Could have composted yourself into oblivion or at the very least have the decency to not lie so blatantly in your "me me look at me 10 years look at me" thread by bringing up someone you so viciously attacked in the past.

But that's not how sociopaths behave, is it.
Go fuck yourself. You are a piece of shit.
You had to expect that some might give you some shit or a piece of their mind. When I 1st joined the forum I thought you were 1 of the good people of the forum who were IMO smart and helpful at the time, but as we all know, your true colors shined through.

TBH I'm shocked you didn't disappear when the escrow deal came to light.
42  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What if you have a casino? on: June 14, 2024, 11:26:28 PM
A little guessing the thoughts of casino owners and gambling dealers when they see gamblers playing in their casinos, what might come to mind?

The name of the business is opening a casino definitely wants to make a profit, while people who come to the casino to seek profit too, although not all, but focus on one object of people seeking profit.
If you were the owner of the casino, what would you think when people like that gamble at your place?
I used to own a site called bubblesbit back when Moneypot allowed anyone to make a game and use their investor bankroll to fund the site. It's not as easy as make a game and everyone will want to play it. My game was dice with some visual effects on each bet and some days we were dead as hell. So when I'd wake up and login to the site and see that we had players playing and had a few all throughout the night, I felt a little like the product was a success.

It's alot of mixed emotions honestly as 1 day we might have 1 player all day and other days we had 20 players. If you market your product in an effective manner, you will end up with players playing religiously. Some will win and some will lose, you just hope more lose than win.

New scam site is up, basebet https://www.basebet.io/ How long before BT users are shilling?
https://uspto.report/company/Sorsis-Chatwin#google_vignette
I don't see the community getting behind these guys again. They were given a second chance on this site and tossed it in the garbage basically spitting in every users face who thought they might be worth giving a chance to. How can anyone actually believe that the new site will be different?

Weren't you promoting them at some point? Zero fallout for the people doing that I noticed, even after defending complaints. We both know if the money's right, at least one person will try.
I did promote them a few years back and at the time they were running like everything was going fine. Noone can tell when a company will or won't scam though. Anyone who is managing a company that turns scam is immediately expected to stop promotion of the company, not like managers tell companies to scam everyone long as they pay us.

I had long left promoting the company before they started doing their shady shit to users.

I went through the betnomi thread where there was multiple legit complaints, which you defended against whilst promoting. Icopress did the same up until they realised it just looked bad. The point is no one really gives a fuck until the money stops. I guarantee basebet will not only be promoted here but successfully.
This will be my last reply on this issue as arguing with you is pretty pointless, but while I was managing their campaign there were scam accusations but how many were true? 90% of the accusations made against companies here are just pissed off users such as you trying to pressure a company into paying. Basically extortion attempts.

Like I said, I stopped promoting them well before any serious allegations came and someone else took over, what happened while they were promoting has nothing to do with me. Your issue isn't with me, so let's keep it that way.

45  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A man is unable to collect his price cos he forget where he bought the ticket. on: June 14, 2024, 08:16:37 AM
I noticed on the news that a man won a lottery and when he arrived to claim his prize, he was requested to state or provide information about where he purchased the lottery ticket, which he couldn't do because he didn't know where he obtained it. It drew my interest, and I wondered if forum users could still tell where they purchased all of their lottery tickets in the previous six months (For those who still engage if physical tickets).

If you’re interested in the news you can read it here: https://toronto.ctvnews.ca/ontario-man-can-t-collect-lottery-prize-after-he-forgets-where-he-bought-ticket-1.6924708
I have never heard of a lottery not paying out because a person forgot where they bought the ticket. I would be having myself a long court battle if it were me, but let's get to the question you asked.

I only buy lottery tickets every once in awhile and usually only from 2-3 different gas stations, so if I were to win a big prize I would have no issue cashing in my winnings or whatever.
46  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam or Legit on: June 13, 2024, 10:27:06 PM
I wish people would think before doing. What I mean by that is, why did this person message you? Were you looking for an investment opportunity and they saw that then contacted you? Was it a random message?

Whatever the reason be, think before sending anyone money. Do some research. Use platforms such as this 1 to ask questions and maybe save yourself a headache.

I don't think Sorsis will bother to return here, he knows better that his new casino is already tainted, marked, and extremely likely will get flags and negative trust the instance it created a representative account on the forum. If his new casino succeeded out there, the more likely scenario than not will be like the one with 1xbit, they have name out there, but a very much untrusted casino in here.
When you talk of 1xbit bitcoin casino, then you remind me of something else, since I've been seeing a platform of casino have not seen a platform that act like a 1xbit so I don't think that there is anybody that will like 1xbit to come back again because when they were in this full room that was a lot of accusation against them which they were unable to clarify such accusations even though people who don't know them cannot like to associate with them when then come back because they have already had a bad name in their  casino platform
This is not about 1xbit casino or any of their brands. This is about Betnomi and their unprofessional behavior towards their players and this community. Maybe you mentioned the wrong casino by mistake, but that is also another casino that has a trash reputation in the bitcoin world.

49  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: June 13, 2024, 03:01:43 AM
Wasn't sure where to go tonight. Took Boston 0105.5 total, Dallas -5.5, and Dallas -3.5. All straight bets and likely win 1 lose 2 or lose 1 win 2. I don't think there's a shot at winning all 3. Would love to see Kyrie and Luka dominate in front of the home crowd. Guess we shall see in 20 mins. GL everyone.

Porzingas ruled out, Mavs love that.

Nearing the midway point of the 3rd quarter, not loving anything except maybe the Boston o105.5, even that is iffy currently.

No Porzingis ? No Problem says the Celtics, they're currently 15 points ahead going into the 4th Quarter.

I don't see the Dallas Mavericks turn this around within 12 minutes, except of course they can start the quarter brilliant and get stops consistently defensively, maybe they should force Celtics to take some 3 with the hope they miss, but at that too they can't afford to give up any second chance opportunity to Celtics.
Mavs got it to within 1 in the 4th went on a 22-2 run or something crazy. Looked like a game til Luka fouled out and then you kind of knew it was game over.

Like I thought though 1 win 2 losses on my bets. Boston will take the crown this year, no way Dallas wins 4 in a row.

51  Economy / Gambling / Re: [Just For Laugh] What kind of advice is this? 😂 🤣 🤣 on: June 12, 2024, 11:17:55 PM
Well, let me start by saying that this is nothing serious really, apperently, I was just scrolling down my reddit feeds and came across this post of a guy in a reddit gambling who said he was owning $6k as a result of sports betting, and obviously; he's not able to pay the money, and in other for him not to be disturbed by the lender, he changed his phone number, and he was asking for advice on what more to do to keep evading paying back that debt..

And another reddit user in the form of a comment chipped in an advice which after reading, I was really helpless with laughter 🤣🤣🤣, this is the funniest thing I comment I read on the internet today.

I just thought I should share, and maybe you guys have something to chip in too, find details in the shot posted below...

Sadly that is how some gamblers are. They borrow and hide til they have the money and when they get too deep they kill themselves or get killed in some cases. Lenders know that they are taking a risk by lending to degenerates, so they prob don't let someone get too deep.

53  Economy / Gambling / Re: ITF TENNIS MATCH FIXING LOOKING FOR BETTORS on: June 11, 2024, 03:41:27 AM
if you have a fixed match coming , then why need us to bet for you when you can sell your house and even your mothers house as this is a sure win?
you don't need to bother others to take 50/50 when you can have it in 100% not unless you are not so sure that this is really a fixed match . and besides I have seen several thread similar to this recently but every one of them fails to prove the fixing matching existence . so sorry but none of us are interested specially you as newbie and wanted to use telegram account to hide your plans .

Finding players is easy, the issue is betting espically for low leagues like ITF, most sportsbook will limit amount or eventually close account or KYC.I said in post I can show proof.

You can't make money any other way so you look to cheat in life? Anyone with a shred of decency should scroll past this offer and not sell your soul for a few bucks, not to mention the risk of scam.

I don't know if the Celtics to cover their spread remains the unpopular opinion here, but that's what I'm riding with but with a "Likkle caution", I'm going Boston Celtics -4.5 @ 1.62 Odds.
I also got the Celtics spread, even though this game points to the Mavs likely covering, I believe the Celtics can finally break the trend this time.

I've also heard the injury news about Doncic, but I doubt that'll be an advantage for the Celtics when he's always up for the task, and continuously puts up big performances.

Celtics have just taken their first lead of the game, 36-35 in the 2nd Quarter, and I must say it's been all down to Luka Doncic he's score about 20 of the Dallas Mavericks 35 points so far.

It's been a more balanced game this time around, but the Celtics have been somewhat awful from 3 points attempt so far here.
Boston 2/14 from 3 point land in the 1st half, pretty much what I expected. They were red hot in game 1 and we all know Dallas would make adjustments for this game. Close game but Boston up at halftime by 3. Wouldn't be surprised to see kyrie turn it on in the 2nd half and Dallas win the game.

Looks like the final count was 3/15 on 3 pointers in the 1st half for Boston. They made 1 in the last minute when I went to the bathroom. Now Boston looks to have taken control of the game and is up by 10 in the final minute of the 3rd. Dallas better wake up at home or we are looking at a sweep.

Kind of seems like maybe they are using kelly criterion and you can only win a certain % of the bankroll at 1 time. In this case looks like 1-200th is the max win. Can you confirm if you win 13btc or any amount does the max win change?
57  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Team strength as the main predictor. on: June 09, 2024, 09:45:44 PM
I know that many experienced sports bettors place the greatest importance on the strength of teams (in team sports) or the strength of individual players (in individual sports). They believe that this is what plays a decisive role, and not other factors. For example, the advantage of home games only appears in competition between approximately equal teams. And when teams or players are not equal in strength, then comparing the strength of the teams becomes of primary importance. You may also cite other factors, such as:
1. Coach.
2. Judging.
3. Player injuries.
4. Season of the year.
Some other sport-specific factors. For example, for tennis, the surface on which the game is played matters - artificial or natural.
The strength of teams or players is usually expressed in rankings.
What do you think: is the strength of teams or players the main factor in the forecast or not? Is ranking the only way to determine the strength of teams? And if these are the main factors, then how can you predict in advance the outcome of a game in which outsiders beat experienced teams?
You kind of grouped it all together as to what to consider when picking your bet. You cannot just rely on 1 thing and have to consider all the facts. The ranking can only be considered when considering the teams they have played to this point. If a team jas only played the bad teams, they will shoot up the rankings fast.

Just look at what you wrote and put it all into your thought process and you'll give yourself the best shot at picking a winner.
58  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sweet Bonanza vs Gates of Olympus on: June 09, 2024, 06:26:43 PM
🍑

Right. but keeping the chances of winning or the track record of both of those slots aside. I am personally interested on your opinion of the design, aesthetics, the animation and the graphical design in general of them.
For example, in a precious lost I talked about how Sweet bonanza looks after the aesthetics of Candy Crush and how that may be very appealing to young gamblers who associate Candy Crush with their childhood or even the elderly who discovered Candy Crush when it was new and popular and now have become gamblers in their golden years.
The opposite can happen as well, that being people getting into candy crush because of Sweet bonanza, but I think it is less likely to happen.

What are you thoughts ?
Both games are visually appealing, so IMO an opinion cannot be based off of that factor alone. When you are gambling and deciding whether or not to continue playing a certain game, you are looking at how often the base game pays, the RTP, how much money you are losing before spinning into a bonus, and how much the bonus pays on average.

If you had $100 to spin on both slots, and started with Sweet Bonanza, you would likely get 2000-2500 spins at $.20 a spin and hit the bonus 5-7 times. Most of those bonuses are going to pay 20x-40x and eventually spin you to a 0 balance.

On gates you are going to average the same numbers as Sweet Bonanza, but your max win potential is much better.

Both are slots by the same provider and no slot is just going to pay pay pay. You have to factor in the potential and the potential on Sweet Bonanza is less. Design has no facotr in my decision.
59  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: bc.game and stake.com originals casino games are 100% a scam on: June 09, 2024, 03:21:46 AM
I must say that OP is not a lucky gambler at all and that's why he faces so many losses one after one. OP instead of blaming those sites I think you must try to learn about the provably fair system and all those games come with that system.

The casinos can't manipulate that system so it's your own luck that made you lose all those bets consecutively. You should take a break from gambling and try something else or you may try sports betting if you're not sure about casino games.

How about this video for example, you think a ball moves like this? https://www.reddit.com/r/gambling/comments/1bqk7lg/insane_ball_spin_i_was_arguing_saying_how_stake/
The ball you are seeing has really nothing to do with the result. It's just for visual effect, the result is already predetermined once you click bet. It's just something to make the game more entertaining for those betting.

Actually this is a "live roulette" table, this is not just for visual effect. I have seen the same video on reddit actually and it sure looks off. That's why I never use the stake casino. Too many ?? about these games in my opinion.

Don't know why you would not see/know this is live, it's more than obvious.

Well 1 i didn't click the link as the guy is complaining about house games, not live games. Assume it's a plinko drop. Obviously live would have 0 chance to be manipulated.

Maybe I should click the link instead of assuming right?
