Network hashrate jumped X10 times! WTF??? [...] Now fethercoin mining gives negative profit.
Not for very long. There were 4 such "tests" over the course of a day if you look up wrapper's initial analysis of it on the main forum. Diff is slower to come down than it is to go up, and from a shock like that it had a longer way to drop, but it did, and was back to "normal" levels pretty quickly. What it will do is throw people off mining FTC based on whattomine's long-term average profitability sorting. ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif)

time to stop using cryptopia and other problems exchanges.. theres a new player in the horizon, looks like it might be a really good exchange. http://www.altcoinexchange.comThere are no problems with Cryptopia. They do business very well. He's spamming everything with a referral link... /ignore no actually im not, i added to about 4 forums i frequent and its in my signature line.. thats it. "Advertising spam is not allowed, this includes mining pools, gambling services, exchanges, shops, etc. Mining pool ops should make a thread within the Mining section of Alt Currencies. Most OP's already link to pools available so advertising your pool is unnecessary and leads to too much spam. Exchanges, shops, gambling sites, etc, should make a thread in the Marketplace section of Alt Currencies."

no rage dude, you are supporting a shit that have no devs or project, the actual owner is just making money on your back and you are happy lol ...
So in your frame of mind you think I'm "raging". Huh — interesting, but not really, just silly. I don't know ghostlander from Adam, and neither you nor he knows me (but I also don't hide behind a silly forum avatar talking smack either - how about you?). Try taking the time to know who the coin devs are, what they've done or said over the years, and not denigrate older coins because they don't have a huge list of (typically broken) promises on a "roadmap". I can't figure out your logic in how "he's making money off my back"; all I've done is what you've done — mined some coins, kept some, sold/traded some. No-one pays him a thing; in fact, just the opposite — he has to pay out of pocket for all those servers that support his own coins. There's a reason ghostlander/John picked the "Welcome to Hell" avatar... ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

why you dont mine directly to exchange ? you are wasting time by downloading the blockchain, this is just a shit coin dude, mine and sell ...
Spoken like someone who: — likes to talk shitcoin, cause it's cool to say shitcoin — probably mines with his gamebox when he's not playing Witcher — has never touched anything but Windows because, y'know, JEUX — has no concept or appreciation for crypto technology — just loves saying shitcoin, 'cause it's really all about that FIAT Either go away or, better yet, go make a coin that ain't shit according to you, so you can show us all what that looks like. ![Kiss](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/kiss.gif)

Many pools are down
what to do now where to mine Phoenix
i think you can continue , this is only the front end who is down. but i suggest to wait to be sure, dump that coin , and wait for the hack to end You can always mine PXC at a p2pool like http://atlas.phoenixcoin.org:10554/static/Yes, yiimp-based pools (hexpool, zpool, altminer, etc.) were hacked, but altminer is indicating pool wallets may have been compromised. I can confirm payouts were continuing, albeit at very reduced levels, so miner beware... Cryptopia's PXC wallet node list is being updated — notice just posted today: 9th September - We have added new nodes to the wallet and have put it into maintenance to give it an opportunity to catch up to the block-chain.

Hello everyone. Feathercoin [FTC] added to https://umine.org/Low fee 0.5%, payouts every 2 hours! Happy mining! Don't see it listed. Besides, you're a yiimp site, not sure why you're still online and didn't get hacked like every other one this morning... other than you may not have been in the hacker's gunsights because you've only got three coins...

anyone know what's up with the ftc wallet on bittrex?
I submitted a support question to them. Wallet is only listed as "offline", with no reason given such as upgrade/sync. so BTER and bittrex are not accepting deposits? ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) any exchanges left? Cryptopia's is working.

i am getting 6,8k kh/s with 6x gtx 1070 ,tell me if the result is good and what i must increase memory or core clock?
If you took the average at zpool for 1070's on neoscrypt, you're about in the middle of the range. GPU brand, o/c level, miner fork and cuda version all make a difference, of course.

Cryptopia apparently has 0 active nodes so they won't process deposits. Is there anywhere else we can trade PXC?
I see they still use v0.6.6.0. It's better to upgrade to the latest release. Not sure if I'm understanding correctly. I'm using v0.6.6.1, are you saying we have to wait for Cryptopia to update on their end? Seems so. Although both versions are compatible, v0.6.6.0 is 3 years old after all. I've made a few deposits and transfers of PXC in and out of Cryptopia in the last month, had no problems then. Doesn't mean there wasn't something temporally wrong during his attempted transfer, which could simply be a site problem and not the wallet/PXC.

also new here ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Does anyone mine on GTX 1060? cannot find any sensible calculator for neoscrypt so wondering if 500 kh/s is okay with ccminer? gtx1060 3gb Hynix 630kh/s core +175 memory -500 pl 100 gtx 1060 hynix core +150 mem -500 Plimit 100 >> 710Khs evga 1060 3GB cheapest one, no idea what memory brand it is, don't care 775 KH/s core +200 haven't played with memclock much, and who cares about power limit when it's only pulling 110W... Also, most importantly: good old ccminer-sp-neoscrypt, fresh compile with cuda8 on centos7

Sorry, I don't see a single block turned out on your site, should be something by now if you're set up right... even with 5% <1%? of altminer's hashrate... 9 Miners currently. Come on everyone spread that Hash out, were more then capable of taking it! ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif) Down to 5, may be why.

I did like the concept but not the execution, thats why there are leftovers from others. Iam aware of you compiling issues, upgrade is planned to newest bitcoin core.
So again, why, when it basically duplicates ORB? Getting bored with FTC? Wanted a coin to call your own? ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Bored with FTC? FTC has a whole different concept and I was just part of the Team and helping where I could. Its not a duplicate, its an improvement. 1min blocktime, down from 2min (and 400 million coins total instead of 4), with lightning and segwit on the way. Ok. A better ORB, essentially. I'll mine some when I can get an address. Don't mind supporting it; you're a known quantity of course. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) And "TrezarCoin"... Onomatopoeia for TreasureCoin, I suppose. ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

No wallet for non-widows users; git doesn't compile (on centos7, "key error" core dump, I don't do ubuntu)... Oh well. ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) Havent had any compiling problems so far, but you are right. MAC wallet is in the works, should be ready tomorrow, added a compiled linux one by a BCT user. Will look into centos7 tomorrow. Doesn't produce a cli binary, only trezarcoind. Had this problem with ufocoin too. Besides, this looks like you (and ghostlander?) copied it wholesale from orbitcoin, same blake2s blockhash/neoscrypt pow/sha256 pos... and git files still have old novacoin, peercoin, orbitcoin references in them... What's the deal here? ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif)

I think UFO Core 0.9 will be coming up over the weekend
If you can, please remember us Mac users. Still only have 0.8.8.1. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) I'm having "fun" attempting to get bushstar's recent 0.8.8.3 compiled into ufo-qt on 10.11; lots and lots of c++11, homebrew libs, etc. issues to overcome in the existing git master, but that was the case with all 0.8.8.x releases. Wonder if it would make sense to add a Mac branch... Got a ufod, but running the qt .pro file is another ball of wax... almost there, almost there... Still fun though. ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Who did the 0.8.8.1 ufo-qt?

PHX is a fake Phoenixcoin, most likely a ponzi scam. PXC is the real coin.
Might be related to that LCHFC scheme a couple months back. I crossed some bullcrap mining pool a while ago with a ton of junk coins on it, had one called Phenaxcoin (PHX). Might be why people were confusing it with PXC.

Wrapper (bushstar?)
wrapper is a long-standing dev and moderator among many on forum.feathercoin.com. bushstar is founder Peter Bushnell's handle here on bitcointalk and on the feathercoin forum. Good idea, I also regret buying this coin, it looks like this shit coin
This coin lost too much traction. Litecoin at 80 and Bitcoin at 5000!
I think dev should close down FTC and relaunch it as an ICO, that seems to be where the money is at the moment.
Exactly the kind of short-term quick-profit thinking that leads to all of those short-lived shitcoins in the junkyard. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) I certainly don't mind people who want to trade/arbitrage crypto like fiat. But to denigrate the technical value and fundamentals of a coin because of its current fiat value greatly misses the point.
