Hey,

I put ACP and another coin in a competition to see which one could sync faster with a fresh download of their qt wallets for windows and blogged about it.  ACP won hands down, but there is a warning that says it's obsolete.  Are you re-branding to E-Ledger?  Blog is at www.chainsurance.info Cheers.

The myr-grs block versions(6) are higher than the sha256d(2). This is basically saying that more than 50 of the last 100 blocks are myr-grs or (another version than the sha256d)
This code will be changed in an update as we are looking at adding another algorithm(keeping gpu mining available).
Changing the warning to something more informational or an update to the code itself.

The re-branding has been on the table for some time, you may notice other small changes that have been pushed out slowly (Acp intstead of AnarchistsPrime) & such.
This "coin" is just over three years old & a re-brading is something that needs to be pushed out over time rather than some massive hype thread filled with fake btctalk accounts.
My wallet takes about 25mins to sync also so not sure if your internet is a different speed.(commenting on your blog)

If there's anyone who would like to share a myr-grs pool they are running please post.

We're running ACP on myr-gr: http://pool.hashrefinery.com/site/gomining?algo=myr-gr

Thank you for sharing, I've noticed the amount of constant nodes increase & suspect it is soloers for myriad-groestl algo or pools
I will put your pool up on the website and ANN on the next update.
I encourage anyone else running a pool to please post If you are watching so we can allow more options via new comers who want to start mining

Not illegal
Expensive bug bounty

illegal *

And if there's a bug in the code that allows hackers/thieves  the ability to go against the consensus rules of the chain, that would be considered illegal creation of coins as they did not follow the rules laid out in the code.
Yeah what would top off the show is if the exploited "coins" got sent to a burn address.
It's better that this was seen sooner than later or slowly over a long period without such noise may have done more damage or could have already been doing damage for awhile.

look 1st post: "...

EDIT: On 05. April the attacker started again and mined about 12k blocks again:

I skimmed the logs and saw the attacker started the new attack at around block 2014060 and stopped just now at block 2026196

..

12k blocks this time Lets say 10k... so additional 10.000 + 1560 = 15.600.000
"

How can an attacker get 1% out of mining? This attack must have taken much longer than a few hours like people were saying yesterday.

I'm quoting @OCminer  from a previous post

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3256693.msg33956498#msg33956498

The attack started on block  2007365 and ended on block 2010039 = 2674 blocks, okay lets say 2500 blocks...

One Block makes about 1560 coins, so you have 2500 * 1560 = 3,900,000  "extra" coins generated (at least!) ....

-
This means the attack lasted for enough time to allow 3.9 Million XVG to be created illegally.

That's 32.72 BTC at current prices   or  $223,902  USD

Ha I just saw that as I went back to check the mined addresses.

We are now looking at a total of  ~ 3.9 Million + 15.6 Million

~19,500,000   XVG have been created illegally

Equals to 166.725 BTC or around  $1,147,034.43 USD

Not illigal
Expensive bug bounty

bible_pay so? ROBOT oni-chann and his destroying this concept with ROSETTA? any steps from your side?

I don't think we can do anything about a situation like this, it really is up to Rosetta.  Even if Oni was kicked from the team (which I'm not advocating at this point) they would still have all the tasks and none would be freed up.

The issue in part is Team Biblepay is accounting for roughly 25% of the work of Rosetta@Home, and this happened basically overnight.  So if you're the Rosetta managers, having to increase your work units by that much could be a bit problematic on the short term.  We were on track to be 1/3rd the work done, which is a massive increase on what is typically a pretty consistent project.

I do think it becomes a higher priority to see if the project can handle our work load or if other plans (backup projects) should be made.  Even though it doesn't mesh well with the timeline, making sure PoDC works consistently, becomes more important in my book than new features.

Whoever it is they are helping with research, there's a massive cpu mining community also so I suggest less micro managing. There's a lot of guys with massive servers who mine. It's apart of going cpu.
I personally have five tasks left with a three day deadline. If you want more tasks get some more cpu power.

(I believe it is a matter of being included into the first superblock to start the process of  Mag , my task weight and weight are 100 & 50k ect ect, maybe must keep patient because I can't see anything I'm doing wrong here)

Looks pretty nice. Please wait till next PoDC block and we will check if you are already in it.
Ok thanks for the assistance. I really like the idea of rosetta + Boinc research, I've reached out to a few people to spread the word.
Have a good, good friday!
Peace BBP team

I am also terribly confused as to what the heck has gone on, I mined this quite a bit when it first came out, getting many coins per hour. now i get less than 1 coin an hour? and that coin is like .003 cents? I understand this is not all about profit, and have no issue with that. BUT, with no real information on what quite a few of these changes are..  like the whole RAC/staking thing. If i have to have 500k coins to get full mining reward, that is just crazy.  Also, there is absolutely no clear information on this whole staking portion..when you stake, generally you get a chunk of coins a day.. i've been mining again for over a week, on a ryzen 7 1700x, and havent even recieved a payout, yet i keep losing coins to the PODC Update.

People should not have to surf through 300 pages of forums, to understand the significant changes that have been made. It would be very beneficial to get links on the biblepay.org website to reddit or other posts that actually discuss some of this. I totally understand you are trying to get people that are new to crypto also, and you do not want to freak them out and lose them, but you also can not alienate more in depth people and make information darned near impossible to find.

I've been "mining"/"staking"  PODC for a week also, 8 core not one coin & mag is 0 my rac is not zero and never included in any superblock(way over 50k coins also in wallet) so it stays mag 0. I do have a free heater on the positive note via the 8 core.
(I liked the idea of using rosetta but I've not been included all week in a superblock )

Hi ACP, I'll try to help if you like. First off, could you please post results of

exec getboincinfo

then please try

exec podcupdate true

Please also check your transactions and let me know if your PODC updates have been coming out.
Please also let me know what version BBP wallet you are running.

I assume that
a) you are on Rosetta and on team BiblePay
b) you leave your computer on and BBP wallet open

The scale of this fraud is massive.

ACP is just trolling around.
To blame the user for having funds on C-cex exchange it's simply ridiculous.

They are responsible for not taking any action to solve the mess they created, not the user.

I basically was watching people buying the token now they are not and now I know why. That is all , small trolling but I put in buy support as well to help you guys then I read all these things and felt insulted
