If anyone wants to buy a sanctuary:I have 1'500'000 BBP that I'm looking to sell for 0.45BTC (0.00000030 BBP/BTC). This deal will take place outside of the exchanges and because of my positive reputation I think we can do it like this: -We exchange BTC and BBP addresses -You send me the BTC and I'll wait for confirmation by the network -I then send you the BBP If no-one wants this deal (because of trust-issues or whatever) I'll sell it on an exchange. I could also make you a deal for the full 1'550'001 BBP if that's more convenient for you. The BTC is for the New Exchange Fund btw ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) More information: http://forum.biblepay.org/index.php?topic=97.msg3284#msg3284

Does anyone know why does purepool ratio behave strangely? It should show 'Amount of your shares required until a block was found in average', but if you look at this one for example (and there are many more) https://pool.purepool.org/main/miner/BS8B8E1tgT3jgtvtLZ6f7hWi9s5sxbohLU/ , it shows value of 11k, but this miner never broke 11k shares in one day, so it can't possible have 11k shares per block found.

I think we have to be patient with Rosetta@home. You have to understand that this is a research project, calculating actual scientific jobs. That means that not only do they need many many scientists to create these jobs (i.e. develop a mechanism, create an initial guess structure, create the job-files etc.), but most importantly they need the manpower to evaluate and interpret the results. Otherwise the whole purpose would be lost. Over the last couple of weeks our contribution created a large spike in their network's hashpower (as some of you already mentioned correctly). I know from experience that in the scientific world NOTHING major happens over the course of a couple of days or weeks! Enlarging a certain research project takes at least several weeks, if not months, because this depends largely on the scientific coworkers this project can pay for. I bet all these guys worked overtime the last couple of days, and still couldn't keep up. So maybe it would really be useful to have a backup project (or several ones). That being said it would also surely help if we didn't have guys with huge amounts of small to tiny machines starting several thousand jobs, not being able to finish them, and then blocking them and crippling the whole project.... On another note: since yesterday I cannot withdraw any BBP from the main pool anymore. It sends out the email with the link, but the linked page is just a blank page and nothing happens. Also the balance on the pool account doesn't change, so that's good. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

The ratio is calculated not for one day, but for 3 days right now. One day wouldn't be enough for most smaller miners to give a fair impression. The system takes the amount of blocks of the miner and the shares of the miner for three days and calcs the shares per block that way. Then it compares this number with the shares per block of the other miners (there average is "100%"). In your example, the miner needs 2.5x times the shares to solve a block. To make it more fair for everybody, this miner is getting more difficult hashtargets because of this. Most of the time, this is only temporary. The system checks the ratio every hour and set it new if the miner looks good again.

Ensure that the date and time of your system is correct. One or two minutes difference can be important.

Have you already tried a reindex? 'Tools > Wallet Repair > Rebuild index' not used rebuild index. don't know how to use this feature. Just click on the button that says 'Rebuild index' ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) (You can find it in the menu: 'Tools > Wallet Repair > Rebuild index') Or are you using a wallet without a graphical interface? Then you have to stop the wallet and restart with './biblepayd -deamon -reindex' And what Lichtsucher said: make sure your system-time is correct!

bible_pay so? ROBOT oni-chann and his destroying this concept with ROSETTA? any steps from your side?
I don't think we can do anything about a situation like this, it really is up to Rosetta. Even if Oni was kicked from the team (which I'm not advocating at this point) they would still have all the tasks and none would be freed up. The issue in part is Team Biblepay is accounting for roughly 25% of the work of Rosetta@Home, and this happened basically overnight. So if you're the Rosetta managers, having to increase your work units by that much could be a bit problematic on the short term. We were on track to be 1/3rd the work done, which is a massive increase on what is typically a pretty consistent project. I do think it becomes a higher priority to see if the project can handle our work load or if other plans (backup projects) should be made. Even though it doesn't mesh well with the timeline, making sure PoDC works consistently, becomes more important in my book than new features. Whoever it is they are helping with research, there's a massive cpu mining community also so I suggest less micro managing. There's a lot of guys with massive servers who mine. It's apart of going cpu. I personally have five tasks left with a three day deadline. If you want more tasks get some more cpu power.

I just saw that oni-chan has changed his name to 'scapegoat' and I agree with that person. A lot of what is being said here is speculation until there is clarification from the Rosetta@home team.
Our system works in a certain kind of way, and maybe that system has some facets that weren't apparent from the start, but should we blame the people that use the system for what it is?
I think we should work on improving the system itself instead of pointing fingers at users of that system.

1.1.1.3 (64-bit) Windows 10 64-bit Hello having a weird issue, just installed windows 64-bit and fresh install on BBP. The software shows a black logo where the bars should be.
also noticed the peer list keeps jumping on and off. Left it on for a few hours and nothing. 42 weeks behind, tried re-build index and reinstall.

Ethereum’s Founder Joins With OmiseGo (OMG) To Give $1million To Refugees https://bitzamp.com/ethereums-founder-joins-with-omisego-omg-to-give-1million-to-refugees/
The company opened its donation drive to the public in 2013, and since then it has raised over $200 million. Now it is looking to work more closely with the crypto industry, both in terms of high-profile figures and crypto enthusiasts themselves who can take part in the Uganda campaign by donating to the charity’s crypto wallet directly.

Gridcoin team has gone down 500.000 RAC in few days, I wouldn't be surprised if some of them had moved to our project.
If we are not getting Rosseta tasks/jobs soon then what are we going to do? What is the DRP? DR = 'Disaster Recovery' You can find the chart here: http://wiki.biblepay.org/Distributed_ComputingBiblepay Operational Mode Chart (Disaster Recovery Modes) DR Leve Algorithm Name Calculation Level 0 Heavenly UTXOWeight * TaskWeight * RAC Level 1 Possessed by Tasks TaskWeight * RAC Level 2 Possessed by UTXO UTXOWeight * RAC Level 3 The-Law RAC = Magnitude Level 4 DR (Disaster-Recovery) Proof-of-BibleHash Only (Heat Mining Only) We are currently at level 2 I think. We're still at level 2, so currently we don't penalize for TaskWeight. I noticed that I have tasks on my home ryzen and my 10 watt cube PC. I wonder if the storm has passed with Rosetta or if some users still cant get tasks.

Do we have any Securities and Exchange commission attorneys online that can give us free advice, or any cryptocurrency attorneys that know legal ramifications for cryptocurrency banking here on the forum, preferably an SEC/Crypto attorney that knows both?

Just got a remark from someone. He asked which one is correct: 'Biblepay' or 'BiblePay'. I always use the lowercase one, and the logo is written like that. But other users use 'BiblePay', and also, when I open Github, it says BiblePay in the browser tab: https://github.com/biblepay/biblepay
