41  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A lot of people in this section do not understand basic gambling concepts. on: May 25, 2024, 07:27:33 AM
In the glittering realm of casinos, amidst the allure of flashing lights and the adrenaline rush of high-stakes games, there's an undeniable truth that often eludes many hopeful players which is the house always wins. This unwavering principle, rooted in the mathematics of probability, ensures that even the most skilled or fortunate of players will ultimately succumb to the relentless advantage held by the house over the long run.
Simply put,it's the statistical advantage that the casino holds over the players in any given game. While it may vary depending on the game and its rules, make no mistake as there is no game where the odds favor the player over the house in the long run.
In the popular game of Texas Hold'em poker for example, where players pit their wits and strategies against each other in pursuit of the elusive pot of winnings.Despite the illusion of player to player competition, the house still manages to secure its share of profit through implemented fees.Whether it's the rake in cash games or the tournament fees in competitive play, these seemingly innocuous charges tilt the scales in favor of the house, ensuring that a portion of every pot flows back into its coffers.
Everybody or almost everybody knows these basic concepts yet they want to try because the max win in a good slot machine makes these walls put in place by the casino to be always in profit look like walls of sand.
42  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2023/24 Season on: May 24, 2024, 08:17:40 PM
This disappointment is not going to be all that easy for Leverkusen because I do not think that they will be here for a long time. The thing about Europa is that if you are too good then you are usually at UCL, and for example Leverkusen will be at UCL because they won their league. If you drop from UCL then you are usually not the best team in the world, and could end up losing.

Reaching to Europa finals with 50-51 unbeaten games means that it is one of the rarest things the history of football has ever seen. If you are a 50+ games unbeaten team, then you are usually at UCL. So all in all, this type of chance will probably never hit Leverkusen again and they know this. This is why it is a very upsetting game and I bet that they rather lose like 3-4 more games (whatever helps them stay champions at bundesliga) at league instead of lose this one game.
Due to their wonderful performance and consistency in all their matches in Bundesliga and in Europa games, made everyone to believe that they are capable of winning Atalanta who was underestimated by Leverkusen. Just the way Liverpool underestimated Atalanta and received a shock, is the same way Leverkusen underestimated them and the same thing happened to them

Atalanta coach is a man with so much wisdom in the sense that, he used his second choice players in Coppa Italia against Juventus and rested his key players, he only brought them in the second half to keep them fit and from fatigue, because he knows that match is not as important to him as the Europa finals. While Xabi Alonso have been using his first squad in all matches, which made it more easy for their opponents to study their game pattern and know their weak points. While Leverkusen was feeling big with their unbeaten record which made them not to be careful with Atalanta.

I think more it was because Leverkussen underestimated Atalanta deep down, not their coach but most likely their players did,Xabi Alonso was not able to keep his team motivated enough as to stop them from going euphoric before such an important event for them.Maybe the players were tired and their main objective to win the first title in all their history in Bundesliga was achieved and they didn't care much what would happen in this final yet it would have been quite a great ending to the season if in the same time in history,in the same season they to have won both the Bundesliga and Europa League.

Big congrats to Atalanta who won for the first time I think in their history an European Cup and they are in history books now in Italy as another new team to have won a title, especially in a time when Italian teams are not doing good at all in European arena.
43  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Trying to find a Sweet Bonanza Max win Video. on: May 24, 2024, 07:57:33 PM
I checked at Pragmatic website for "Sweet Bonanza 1000" and nothing showed up except the two Sweet Bonanzas we know, the original version and the Christmas one.Maybe you guys are confusing it with Sugar Rush as that has a Sugar Rush 1000/Supreme where you can buy the Super Bonus for 500x your bet. That game is not as extremely volatile as people think of it as that can give you a huge win anytime when you hit a nice Super Bonus buy,it all depends on your balance and bet you want to play that game,if you have enough balance to make like 20-25 consecutive Super Buy Bonus I am sure in such buys you will have a chance of hitting a nice substantial win,now I don't know if you will recover the bonus buys but one thing is sure and that is one Super Bonus will pay you dramatically well.

It appears a Sweet Bonanza 1000 has indeed launched just 15 hours from now, still I stand to what I said for Sugar Rush 1000/Supreme.
Nope, Sweet Bonanza 1000 is already available at some platforms (mostly white label casino), you can check it on BC.
The official Pragmatic website is usually late in reviewing new games which are sequels to previous games.

They were fast enough with Starlight Princess 1000 and Gate of Olympus 1000 who were sequel to well known games like Sweet Bonanza,I guess they have lost it lately, anyway regarding this new Sweet Bonanza it is even more highly volatile than the first one and guess what, although we will see people getting the max win which will be only very lucky few, unfortunately we will see so many people losing all through this game. The reason is simple,if you see on reputable casinos the number of people playing Sweet Bonanza is easily over 500,I imagine the new one with the Super Bonus which starts the multiplier from a minimum of 20 rather than 2 would have even more hardcore fans.
44  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Trying to find a Sweet Bonanza Max win Video. on: May 24, 2024, 07:33:03 PM
Sweet bonanza has never been max won I do not believe. It's probably possible but highly unlikely. I've gotten a few 2000-4000x wins on it myself, but never acheived anything higher than that.

The new sweet bonanza 1000 I think we will see a max win on before the regular version. I bought the super bonus last night and got to see a 1000x multi drop, but didn't have any connections so I got nothing from it.

The new version is available on Gamdom and Stake for those interested.

I played it on SlotsLaunch website in FUN mode as I couldn't find it on the Pragmatic Play official website yet and I played now quite some bonuses now and I hit the 1000x twice with the default bet of 2 dollars, first time I hit a 13.000 dollars win from it and the second time did not hit anything on screen.Based on this I also strongly agree that the new version will hit the max win very soon and it may also hit it quite some times over time because once that 1000x connects and we see like 1 or 2 of such symbols on screen with symbols paying big and not fruits it is going to max win at 25000x.

One thing I noticed during this game play is that is behaving like the old Sweet Bonanza regarding volatility,so people playing it be ready to be crushed and to lose all your money in a fast amount of time.
45  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Trying to find a Sweet Bonanza Max win Video. on: May 24, 2024, 07:11:22 PM
Snip
Actually, Im still pessimistic that we will see the max multi in this new Sweet Bonanza 1000, also maybe the max multiplier symbol of 1000x will only appear in the Super Buy Free Spins.
And this super buy is very expensive, it costs $100 for a base spin of $0.2.
But its quite worth it due to the min multiplier symbol on this super buy is 20x, 50x and 100x symbols must be not that rare anymore.

Sweet bonanza in general is already volatile including the regular bonus buy. Purchasing the super bonus buy on the 1000 version makes it level the volatility on the highest level since the 1000 version makes the game more volatile.

Everyone  already struggling to make a decent win on the regular version so I’m really confused about the existence of this 1000 version while no one still get max multiplier even on the original version unlike other games such as sugar rush, gates of olympus and other pragmatic slot games which max win is frequently hit.

By the way, have you seen this? : https://x.com/RBR_Daily/status/1793999851698708486

F2 driver Isack Hadjar could have crashed into Miyata if he didn't have those insane reflexes.  Sad  Thankfully Formula drivers are focusing on improving their reflexes much more than a normal person. That tunnel is really dangerous for such moments. Because you are getting past it at full speed and there is a blind corner there which is open for accidents.

Coming back to F1, Hamilton was really impressive in FP1. But will he maintain a solid performance? I doubt that honestly as the car is generally so slow.

This track is all about driver's skill but also the car can impact you a lot,the maximum speed on this track is 293-297 Km/h or just a bit more and this means it is a relatively very slow track that if the cars are setup near equal or someone have find the better balance of the car.It is all about driver's skill as I said paired together with a great setup for the track of tomorrow, that setup I am talking about can make a huge difference in the single lap to give someone the pole which most likely is going to be converted to a win.

In fact in this track I have never seen someone winning starting from 7th place or below and even place above 7th,usually most of the times it has been either P1 or P2 from the starting grid that have won the race here, that is why it is going to be a boring race and the pole here is much more important than any other track.
47  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The madness of gambling addicts. on: May 24, 2024, 05:42:48 PM
these days I read a very sad article and when I saw this thread I immediately went looking for the article and managed to find it, it's a sad story that talks about a guy who, because of his addiction, destroyed his life and that of his family, in this article we can see the dangers of addiction, when people are unable to go to the doctor early when they notice the first signs of addiction it becomes a very serious problem, this can be seen in this guy's story:

~

source: https://www.wilx.com/2024/03/21/youre-not-alone-madness-being-addicted-gambling/
~

That's a very sad story and it shows exactly why we shouldn't allow young people to engage with gambling. He was nine years old, FFS! What were his parents doing? It's the toughest fate if you win in that age, and that's what happened to Ritzenhein, the main character in the story. He was turning his life into hell afterwards(and the lives of all those around him too, I'm sure). It's good he found strength to call Problem Gambling Help Line. Hope they will help him.

9 years old, tuff one
we should treat gambling as a drug so age restrictions are probably a good policy
the thing is that many parents don't care that much or don't put such a good filter on this...
crazy but true.

So what can this kid do when he grows up if he at 9 is already gambling.I can predict with a high efficiency that most likely he will be a thug,a thief or even a killer as this way of life brings you up only if you are already gambling at the age of 9.In here full responsibility is on the parents of this kid and they are the sole people at faulty for what this kid was able to do,it seems that they lack completely the level of education to give to this kid and maybe they have focused on their careers to improve their lives and provide this kid a better future yet by doing so they have unintentionally put the kid into gambling because they had no time to educate him or to spend with him to learn him the good and bad things. What a waste of parents.

She had game is never bad it is good yes sometimes when you find some good games and you feel like you want to share with your friends you can hundred percent guarantee at least a little bit sure about it again sometimes when you did something and it didn’t work out the way you want it it doesn’t mean that it’s gonna work out one day sometimes again You should edit game subtraction, very well arrange it to your own understanding

While there's certainly an element of luck involved,it's true that our experience can help us make more informed decisions, especially when it comes to activities like sports betting. However, even with all our knowledge and insights, there's no foolproof strategy to guarantee a win.
Just recently,I heard about someone who was trying to turn 0.05 Bitcoin into 1.70 Bitcoin to cover medical school fees, but unfortunately ended up losing it all. It's a reminder that no matter how confident we feel, there's always a risk involved in gambling. This story is just one among many similar ones, highlighting the potential pitfalls.Perhaps it's time we consider stepping away from gambling altogether.Instead of risking our hard-earned money on uncertain outcomes,we could redirect those funds into more stable investments, like savings accounts. This way,we're not only avoiding the stress and disappointment of potential loses, but also building a more secure financial future.
49  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you believe in match fixing? on: May 23, 2024, 09:02:35 PM
I used to hear people say that most of the matches are being fixed by the football body such that they make sure that the matches play according to how they fixed them to play and the reason why the VAR was introduced was even to help in actualizing the match fixing. How true is this because what will be the benefit of fixing match without any benefits or do the football body do some secret gambling and makes sure it goes in their favour? Even some players are sometimes suspected to have been part of a match fixing just like in the match between Tottenham and Manchester city when Son Heung-min was one on one with Manchester City's goal keeper Ederson but he played the ball directly to the goal keeper and after the match, Pep Guardiola went to shake him and people were wondering if the match was fixed to favour Manchester city. So let's deliberate on this

Most notably the fixed matches existed and exist in lower leagues, yet let me remind you of that 2-2 draw in an Euro Cup between Sweden and Denmark as that was the only result that would qualify both those teams and let Italy out of the group stage.Guess what?Yes the match ended with that exact result and all the world witnessed that theater but could not do anything about it,the goals were more than regular and even if VAR were invented back then as this happened years ago it would not have solved anything as there was nothing for VAR to review. The odd for a draw 2-2 which normally is 11-15 or more at that game was only 1.70 so the bookies knew about it yet they got ahead and put the game in despite knowing they will lose a lot of money and indeed bookies lost millions back then because everyone was betting that correct result and everyone won it.
50  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2023/24 Season on: May 23, 2024, 08:44:42 PM
The unexpected outcome of the match came as a significant surprise, and while I aim to remain impartial,it's hard to overlook the potential influence of bookmakers in such situations.Prior to the game, bettors worldwide heavily favored Leverkusen to secure victory, whether through a straightforward win, extra time,or even penalties. The financial stakes for bookmakers were undoubtedly high, and a Leverkusen triumph would have resulted in significant losses for them.

While I am not making any accusations,it's worth considering the hand bookmakers may have had in shaping the outcome.Atalanta, while a good team in their own, might not have been perceived as strong enough to overcome a side like Leverkusen, especially one boasting an impressive 50-game unbeaten streak. However, the unpredictability of sports betting is undeniable, with surprise results often defying expectations.
51  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling bad to the society? on: May 23, 2024, 08:27:39 PM
The consequences of irresponsible gambling is very high and it can make the addict look unkept like someone insane. This is why as a gambler, you should be able to have prevention measures on addiction in order to gamble happily and enjoy the fun in gambling. I agree with every points that you highlighted, but the problems lies on the people who see gambling as a means of making profit, and they will go at extra miles to make sure that they continue gambling even though they are running at big loss. Such people needs to quit gambling and go on a long break, if not they are doing more harm to themselves. If most gamblers can key into the rules of gambling and only gamble for fun, we will have less gambling related problems in the society.

Addiction can have detrimental effects for everyone involved. The allure of slot machines is particularly concerning,as they have the potential to wreak havoc on one's mental well-being.Those who are drawn to gambling, especially the majority who favor slot machines, are at risk of developing serious addiction issues.

Slot providers employ tactics that can deceive objective judgment and exacerbate addictive tendencies. They manipulate outcomes in a way that disorients gamblers, often by granting consecutive wins in buy bonus features, followed by abrupt losses. This cycle can be dangerously captivating, leading individuals to chase losses even when the odds are stacked against them.I have personally fallen prey of this several times these last 2 months,I am trying a way out but this fucking slots are so fucking addictive that I simply can't.

52  Economy / Gambling / Re: I would like to place a $1,000,000 bet on: May 23, 2024, 07:51:19 PM
I think there are enough options as where to place such bet in many reputable casinos if you ask first by betting such amount. What made me really suspicious is how can someone throw 1 million dollars on Sweden 1st division which is Superettan,Allsvenskan being their equal to top premier division. Are you this sure that you are going to win the bet or do you have insider information that you are willing to throw 1 million dollar on such a league when we have tons of leagues available where information is better regarding the teams we want to bet.Even so I would never suggest betting 1 million dollars on a team on any league as surprise results can happen, unless you have inside info don't throw away your money.
53  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: May 22, 2024, 08:12:38 PM
I think this shows plain stupidity from the club management to remove a coach which was finally able to build a winning team in the last 10 games of the Premier League.Sure it took some time but right when it looked that things were changing greatly for Chelsea then comes this senseless decision which to me is a wonder, the 8th wonder as they say.

Why on earth would a club management want to remove a coach that has just built a solid team that in the last games of the Premier League produced the best of results and they are ready for next season to improve, this coach now knows the key to improve further this team and boom it comes this stupid decision,Chelsea the team of wonders  Grin.
54  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to maximize winning potential and control excessive gambling habits on: May 22, 2024, 07:56:21 PM
Some members or gamblers on this forum have used only two to three paragraphs to describe how to manage bankrolls in different topics, but you seem to be writing way too much for just a few points that needed to be grabbed. Well, bankroll management is a very vital aspect of gambling, and if well managed, a gambler can hardly become an addict. And, like you said already, new gamblers who find it difficult to manage their bankroll are the people who are in danger of addiction. Bankroll management can even make a gamble to be more careful because they are aware that if they gamble recklessly and lose all the money, they cannot continue until next time.

Bankroll management is indeed the top of the top of successful gambling, yet it's often easier said than done. It's understandable how financial pressures can cloud judgment and lead to impulsive decision-making.Your experience reflects a common struggle faced by many, where the pursuit of a max win becomes ever consuming, making you going from prudent to being a straight loser.

Recognizing the pattern of behavior you've described is a crucial first step towards regaining control.Seeking professional assistance or guidance could provide valuable insights and strategies for managing both the financial and psychological aspects of gambling.Whether it's through therapy, support groups,or financial counseling, there are resources available to help break the cycle of compulsive behavior and cultivate healthier habits.
I have suffered personally from the compulsive gambling behavior these last 2-3 weeks as I lost everything pursuing that max win and I think I need professional help myself.
55  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is boxing the worst sport to bet on? on: May 22, 2024, 07:47:06 PM
Betting on sports involving human combat is,in my view, among the riskiest type of sports betting. The reason behind this assertion is straightforward and that is,the potential for manipulation is very high. It's not impossible for someone with significant resources like a reputable casino to impact the outcome by corrupting the favored participant to take a dive,or by orchestrating circumstances favoring the underdog, especially if the betting trends heavily favor one side, either favorite or underdog.

The inherent unpredictability of human behavior further complicates matters.Unlike in more regulated sports where factors like form, strategy, and statistics play a more pronounced role, the element of human variability introduces a level of uncertainty that is difficult to quantify. One can question if some of the fighters have taken adequate training, physical and mental I am talking about and they have not gotten to drink alcohol which greatly weakens their performance, something that can be impacted as I said by the reputable casino with huge funds at their disposal.

56  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why Lotto Winner Takes Time To Claim Their Rewards, What's The Point? on: May 22, 2024, 07:32:52 PM
Here in our country, if you hit the jackpot, you are given one year to claim your rewards. There is also a security feature on the back of the lotto ticket where you can write your name and sign it, so you are the only person who can claim the jackpot prize, and you have a year to claim it.

I read that some lottery winners take weeks or even months to claim their rewards, but what's the point?

What if you keep it and will surprise your family after a month, but you have an accident and you get into a coma?

Or you let it know to your family, but you decide that you will claim it after a month but some members of the family spread the news will this put your family and yourself in jeopardy

Do you think it's a good idea to claim your winnings a day after hitting the jackpot or wait a few weeks?

How about you? When do you think is the right time to claim your winnings?

Taking a moment to let the waters settle before claiming a reward is often a wise approach, and I completely endorse it.It's commendable that your country allows winners a full year to claim their rewards—a decision that reflects thoughtfulness and consideration. In contrast, our national jackpot lottery compels winners to appear on live television the following Sunday, coinciding with the weekly jackpot draw. While the winnings may not always reach exorbitant sums, with the maximum prize hovering around 150,000 EUR and an average of 32,000 EUR per week, they nonetheless represent a significant boost towards achieving short-term goals in many circumstances.

Adversity is an inevitable part of life, yet adopting a mindset that anticipates catastrophe at every turn would paralyze us from ever venturing beyond our doorstep. While it's true that unfortunate events can occur, dwelling excessively on them would render us immobile to fearing that stepping outside might invite a fatal encounter with a passing vehicle.Such apprehension,if allowed to dictate our actions, would effectively halt the progress of the world itself.

Isn't it fantastic? There's Stake website currently offering free buy-ins for what appears to be Texas Hold'em poker.I can see nine players at a table, which strongly suggests it's Texas Hold'em.If it's not, they're making a huge mistake because most people prefer playing that variant. It's widely regarded as one of the best and is familiar to many, especially since it's showcased on TV,like on Pokerstars.

I'm definitely signing up for tomorrow's 9 PM tournament.Unfortunately,I just missed today's since I noticed it after 9 PM here. But the good news is,they've indeed chosen Texas Hold'em for the tournament.I can't wait for tomorrow night,I'm feeling confident I'll dominate the competition!  Grin

Let's say that the future promises well with a challenge between Max Norris and Leclerc.

However, a lot will depend on the car available.
Redbull is still the main force (with Max) but it is no longer dominant like in previous years and now they have also lost the Messi of the engineers.

You saying we'll see the tide turn this season with the McLarens and the Ferraris catching up in car development in the next few races?  :/  If so, yes please...  I for one would love to see a more competitive season among the guys at the top.  Throw in Mercedes in there too.  They have been lagging the last couple of seasons.

Anyway Joylon Palmer has something to say about McLaren and closing the gap vs Red Bull.  Enjoy...

Are McLaren Closing The Gap On Red Bull? | Jolyon Palmer’s F1 TV Analysis

I think McLaren surely is and the problem is this exact next track during this weekend which we will be in Monaco. This can be a double edged sword as it can prove very much beneficial to McLaren which can win the race if they get the pole position as we know how difficult if not impossible is to overtake in this track. If they have problems though and they start from the 2nd row of the grid or even lower it can impact their race for the worse.Whichever the case one sure thing in Monaco is that will be a boring race as the pole sitter if he gets out first from the first corner most likely will win the race.
59  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Never borrow money to be able to gamble on: May 22, 2024, 08:06:58 AM
Borrowing money to gamble with is the highest level of addictions, because as a normal gambler you have to know that gambling results are uncertain and unpredictable,  so for that if you have the well withers you should already know that by Borrowing to gamble with you are already signing up for debts and debt is the primary feature of those that are already addicted.

For that, why should anyone go into Borrowing when you are going to lose the money I gamblein, gamble with the amount of money you don't need to solve any serious life responsibilities,  don't let your greed to mess you up.

People have different situations. What if someone does not take wallet with him or have spend daily card limit, but he is in a company where everyone bets. What should this person do, stand and watch?
If borrowing is a high level of addiction, then what is taking a credit then? Whole world lives with credits. Does it means everyone is addicted to spending? I will use a default phrase for gambling - it depends. If a person is ready to take a risk, is smart enough to earn money in future, is a reliable person, then why it would be bad for him to borrow money?

Surely it depends but even if this person is in a company where everyone bets still it does not mean that this person should start gambling, get addicted and ask for borrowing money from co-workers.It heavily depends on the moral values of the person working in such an environment,if he does not care and never cared before for gambling he will still not care and if he didn't gamble but deep inside he always thought of making easy extra money he may start to gamble because of this environment. In this world everything it depends and gambling is much more relative than other things.

I would definitely love for him to be coaching again in the Premier League and especially Newcastle is also of my liking. The reason is that Newcastle this past season did not perform that well in the Champions League and I think this was partially due to the coach of Newcastle not reacting like he should to situations when Newcastle was conceding the first goal.If Mourinho is to coach them now I think Newcastle with the players they have can achieve quite some good results in both Premier League and Champions League.
