41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top 10 Altcoins in 2018 on: May 08, 2019, 09:09:06 AM
My top 10 altcoin for this year which i buy and hold is Ethereum, Litecoin, Cardano, Digibyte, Electroneum, Binance coin, IOTA, Stellar, Nano and XLR. I will hold and i will wait until a bull run.

very reasonable choice in my opinion, there will be definitely a bull run sooner or later, so you just have to wait

My top 10 for this year is:

1. Ethereum
2. Cardano
3. Litecoin
4. Dash
5. FuturoCoin
6. Ripple
7. Nano
8. Monero
9. Stellar
10. Binance coin

Ethereum and Monero are very fundamental to me when it comes to long-term investments, i have huge trust in this projects, and i think that they can give a nice income after a while. Dash and FuturoCoin are similiar (FTO source code is based on dash, but they did some redevelopment couple weeks before, introducing new masternodes system) due to their high community engagement, really like those projects, hope them best. Can't wait to see the future of bnb tbh
That is a good list of some good Altcoins and I have some of my favorite coins also listed there. Ethereum and Ripple and Binance coin are my favorite coins of the year when it comes of altcoin. The reason behind this is the increased growth that has been attracting eyes since long. Normally speculating in these Altcoins can give you return if your cost of investment is low.
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It's time to buy altcoins on: May 08, 2019, 08:30:05 AM
For the majority now I think buying altcoins is a good Idea now because market slowly increasing and we notice that altcoins too are increasing but not all but almost of the coins in market have improvement it will become more better. Even you give people right signals we still have own decision if we follow it or not but for me giving signals for me I ignore it because I have own researxh for me to decide when it's right time or not.
It is no doubt a good time for many investors out there to invest in cryptocurrency and make money. The reason behind my statement is the bullish market. Bitcoin is at $5887 and ETH around $173. This is great improvement and a speculation today could be a good profit tomorrow so try to be part of the market by putting in your money and a HODL strategy.
43  Economy / Economics / Re: Any ideas of what we lack in crypto world? on: May 08, 2019, 07:09:23 AM
We see that all the time in some countries cryptocurrencies are banned or in the contrary they start to make a special regulation. It shows that everyone want to do something with it but don't really know what, yet. Maybe you guys can guess, as experts from the crypto community, what do we need for normal living in a blockchain world?
I think, blockchain technology is already full filled with all the needs a common individual needs. There are a lot of new emerging companies which will make the transactions much more easier and faster and supported by wide connections much sooner. Until now, blockchain technology has not shown any such emerging need but there might me some more modern and advanced techniques which will soon collaborate with the blockchain technology.

What we currently lack in the cryptos world is getting legalized from the government of each possible country which will make cryptos self dependent and long lasting which would be trusted by various nationalized banks as well.
44  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what kind of trading will suit for me? on: May 08, 2019, 06:40:31 AM
I think it is necessary to combine both short-term and day trading, because a considerable part of the crypto-currencies can give 20-30% per week and it is not always possible to short in this case
We can actually not predict the exact number of percentage of profits we can have monthly as we can't predict the crypto markets. There is always some amount of risk involved where the price for most of the altcoins may get lower and you may feel like you are going in loss. Such time, you must HODL your coins but it might stop your monthly income so at the start itself you should not invest in order to have fixed profits.

You should never think of profits and keep on investing. Your 1$ might turn 1000$ if you invest in some potential coins. Short term trading can give lower profits but with higher risks. Even in day trading sometimes we need to hold the coin if we fail to buy at a dip.
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CHOICE BETWEEN BITCOINTALK AND PLATFORM BOUNTIES. on: May 08, 2019, 06:09:25 AM
Hello Guys.
this is for my fellow bounty hunters that want to make it big in the bounty hunting campaign industry. REMEMBER< HARDWORK PAYS. if you wish to earn well in this hunting game, choose bitcointalk bounties over platform bounties i.e( bounty0x, bountyhivo, etc).
MY Reasons:
1, for platform bounties, stakes are calculated by set of teams most five or six who will benefit from the rewards weather they partake in the campaign or not while for Bitcointalk, the bounty manager alone, does the calculation and sharing meaning more payment for hunters.
2, For platform bounties, a certain percentage of your pay goes to the upkeep of the platform, salary pay for staffs so you are likely to earn less while for bitcointalk, nobody makes any payment to bitcointalk or any member. all payment is calculated again by bounty manager.

3, platform bounties has limits. limited number of post/articles and shares might might be required while bitcointalk requires you to meet a certain criteria.

bounties on platforms are easy and pays less due to reasons decided by the platform owner while bitcointalk bounties are stressful but pays higher due to less fee atractions.

Therefore, before you choose a bounty to participate make your decisions properly before joining to avoid earning pennies after one year while working for projects on bounty platforms.
Well I haven't participated in bounty from any other platform than bitcointalk, and it has always been okay for me and easier to participate in, just that you might participate in some bounty that might end up not paying you or you might end up getting shitcoin that doesn't or would never have any value in the nearest future and I believe that it would be same for bounty platforms that are also not done on bitcointalk forum, so don't see any reason moving from one platform to another.
46  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Share your favourite gambling site and story behind it on: May 07, 2019, 10:48:42 AM
I don't have a favorite gambling site and story behind it because I am a normal person who is not chasing the win money, but I only want to get fun inside the game. I play on many gambling sites but it's not for every day because I know that I will have a chance to be addicted to the game and that will make me lose the money. I learned from my friend who was lost so much money in the gambling game and I don't want to be like him.
I thin chasing money does not make you abnormal and this is very okay to quest for making money but to be honest, you have to take your brain with you in case you are going to gamble or something that needs wise mind. I normally do not gamble on websites and in the local gambling spots with friends over sports matches and I enjoy doing so. I have been on foryunejack.com and I like it.
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: List of IEO (Initial Exchange Offering) platforms + profit statistics on: May 07, 2019, 10:04:01 AM
As we can see, not even 40 percent of all IEOs on the market were successful and this is another argument for the statement, that exchanges are much more important than a project itself nowadays and this is very sad, because nobody cares about the real value anymore.
We need to understand one thing that like there is difference is the quality and ratings of exchanges out there, the IEO conducted by such exchanges would also be different in different ways. IEO conducted by Binance and Bittrex have been super successful and they achieved their hard cap in minutes. When it comes to IEO conducted by other not so famous exchanges, I agree that they have been not so successful.
48  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: small gains but cant make it big on: May 07, 2019, 08:33:58 AM
Daily trades and buying small altcoins are not going to help you make it big
A thing to consider is the volume, Making small trades multiple times per hour on a low margin could be way more profitable the 1 large sum that wont get sold as easily.
Exactly. Like Warren Buffett says that small gains combined makes big gains. This is good to know you are making at least small profits. If you are looking for big gains, you need to reconsider the coins you have. For example if you are facing problem with making money in altcoin you have, better switch to Bitcoin which has been showing some good gains.

49  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Central Banks in the Age of Blockchains on: May 07, 2019, 07:14:10 AM
This week, the Financial Times reported that the IMF, (International Monetary Fund) and the World Bank, are launching a “Learning Coin” on a private blockchain to gain a better understanding of how blockchains work.

In a statement, the IMF said:

“The development of crypto-assets and distributed ledger technology is evolving rapidly, as is the amount of information (both neutral and vested) surrounding it. This is forcing central banks, regulators and financial institutions to recognise a growing knowledge gap between the legislators, policymakers, economists and the technology. This project begins to bridge that gap and form a strong knowledge base of the technology among IMF and World Bank staff.”

what do you think will be the implications?

https://www.altcoinsidekick.com/blog/chain-reaction
They might test the blockchain network and see if it is really beneficial for use. This might be a trial for them to know blockchain more closely. Centralized banks may try to enter the blockchain networks if their requirements are reached. If this news is been published from more official source then it would be a confirm news and it might help a lot I growing of the blockchain technology. The youth is getting ahead in the blockchain technology so obviously the world needs to know a bit more about the blockchain. Blockchain should be engaged in our day to day living so that it could make our financial transactions much more easier.
50  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto wallet services on: May 07, 2019, 06:28:01 AM
You mean a third party to deposit btc when betting online casino? Well, the online betting casino.platform has already provided this and having third party is not really necesary. Just create an account in an online casino betting platform.and send your btc to their platform directly to your account. If anything will not going to go well like losing your deposits the. Show your bitcoin.tracker if it is successful or not. The block chain wi tell amd will never lie.

Third party deposit AND withdraw. Actually I am not casino user, but developer. Of course alternative option is to make full node, but at this point I don't want to invest in that.

To sum up what I've found so far, for others in need:

mycelium - no withdraw, only deposit
coingate
bitpay
coinify
gocoin
bitgo - requires 1mln USD monthly traffic
bitaps

However, most of the services are following gambling regulation rules, which needs merchant verification, anti-money-laundry measures etc.. Moreover, from 1st May there is new regulation, which requires merchant verification even for crypto-to-crypto transactions.
I think bitpay can do the job. I already use bitpay but it's for making a payment to buy a product, and it's connected with bitpay.
But I never know if bitpay can be used for another thing and it's a new thing for me.
I cannot imagine how much money we will use to make a full node.
But hey, what kind of regulation that will be needed for the merchant?
Crypto wallet services are available for any kind of the popular ones coins like BTC, ETH and LTC etc. One can get and store all the coins in a single wallet, make it easy for all users. Furthermore, it offers free transaction service as well but it has limitations and restrictions as well. If it surpasses its range then you must pay transaction cost. Other than this, the transaction cost is low as compared to other wallets so such wallet services are in our benefit but we need to find them as crypto industry is building day by day.
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does anyone have experience with empowr coins? on: May 07, 2019, 05:44:53 AM
I keep getting courtesy email notices from empowr.com saying I have an insane balance of 48 million USD in pre-coins.

Anyone else getting those kind of emails?

I can't figure out how they can say my balance is worth that much when it appears you can't even swap pre-coins for USD.
Hahaha, please I would ask you to ignore that email because I believe it's a scammer sending you that message, maybe not to carry you to an important site, but to download a Trojan into your PC that will monitor all the activities of the PC as long as it is connected to the internet, this is why it's not advisable to click on just any link you see out there because you might not know the content of the site or the heart of the person who created the website, technology is really advancing.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 10,000$ - Where to invest? on: May 06, 2019, 12:41:59 PM
the safest coin for invest of course bitcoin itself
you don't need to worry if the coin will ended with scam because its bitcoin.
If I were you, I would have invested my money in Bitcoin keeping in mind the growth of the coins in the current bullish market. This could give me good profits. You can also make some money maybe 2x with ETH if you speculate in it. See these best coins in the market are very good assets for investment and quick returns. Bitcoin might cross $7000 in months to come.
53  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why not just gamble with fiat? on: May 06, 2019, 12:12:16 PM
Personally, becasue of my identity i choose to gamble anonymously and fiat gambling cannot hide a gambler identity. Have gambled in traditional way before i joined the cryptocurrency world and the two cannot be compare, i prefer gambling anonymously than gambling with fiat to expose my real identity.

When we gamble with fiat in online sites, we have to use our credit card and our identity is easily revealed. Bitcoin is best suited for gambling as it is easy to transfer bitcoins to gambling site and secondly our identity will not be revealed and we can easily play gambling anonymously.
This is a reason why the use of crypto gambling is so wide and on large scale. This is important for people who feel ill at ease if they pay using their credit cards. KYC is bad for such people and they refrain gambling at sites that need kyc. Guys in the local casinos use hard cash and can get away with any amount of money. They just do not care about their identity being disclosed because local casinos are usually registered.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 5 Ways to Earn Crypto without investing or mining on: May 06, 2019, 11:35:41 AM
Interesting ways to earn a crypto currency. Not everyone has the money to buy equipment for mining. Therefore, they mainly participate in bounty programs.

But some people if they have experienced the comfort of a bounty they will forget to have mining to get another Altcoin. some people start to like the work they do.
Bounty is not very much profit , if you like to work 4 months for $ 10 , then you can do)
and so I think it is better to mine or learn to trade
One good way to become part of crypto market and to become able to influence trading decisions of the investors is your research in the technical areas of crypto. If you are able to write blogposts about the technicalities in crypto, you will get to be known over the forum you write on after some time and then people will pay you for consultancy about trading tips etc.
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Limit your participation in IEO on exchanges that you trust on: May 06, 2019, 10:48:57 AM
I have realized that with the success of the IEO on larger and reputable exchanges, we do not follow fomo according to the majority to invest in IEO but to choose what we understand and invest properly. propriety.

This is good statement about the benefits of IEO. This covers your FOMO which means you would not have to face as much risk as you would face before. This makes IEO a step more advanced than ICO. Having said that, it is not bad to participate in the IEO conducted by the best exchange out there. You could make good money by participating in such IEOs which often lasts for not more than a minute or few.
56  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to Think Profitably - a Trader’s Mindset on: May 06, 2019, 10:09:38 AM
Yes, the kind of mindset you have is very important as a trader. But one other you will have to know is that those with that kind of mindset are the most hard working. You don't just get what you want by being positive or having the mindset that you're going to win without putting in work towards winning.

For anyone to have that kind of mindset they already knows what it takes to achieve what they want,  so they are also going to work hard towards that and they also need the skills that are necessary to accomplish it, that's the truth. I'd also like to say you have a Good post.
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Skam or a way to make money? on: May 06, 2019, 09:24:18 AM
Deleted

We have big examples of people loosing big in the cryptocurrency. So yes I think you are right about not investing in cryptocurrency if you do not understand what it takes to make things happen. In addition, if you do not understand the cryptocurrency thing, you can more possibly fall victim to scams as well which is a shame now. Since the sole
purpose is to make money, better focus on that by investing in the traditional market as well.
58  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: HODL IS THE BEST OPTION FOR ME NOW on: May 06, 2019, 07:36:19 AM
Hodl is my only option too since I bought my crypto at a high price and I didn't sell them when the price was dropping down.
I don't want to sell them because I believe that they would give me profit when the market recovers and enter a bull run.

I don’t think that is the only option you have. There are other options to, but you still have to hodl to be able to recover what you have lost. Trading is another option and you can trade daily and earn some money and before you know it, you might have recovered everything. You can also participate in other things such as campaigning and all that.
59  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bulls need time on: May 06, 2019, 06:48:52 AM
Another factor that cannot be stopped is reducing the supply of bitcoin.
this can be a cycle that cannot be stopped and bitcoin will continue to rise.
many predict this.
There is no unlimited supply of bitcoins as there are a limited number of bitcoins present in the network. Some of them might be remaining to mine out but most of those number is in the current circulation. The lesser the supply would be the more the demand would be for any specific commodity.

If the total amount of bitcoins are been shortened then the demand for the will gradually rise and the price for bitcoins with meet the All Time High. This could be possible if a x amount of bitcoins are been burnt. That is not actually possible but just one of my opinion. The supply for each commodity should be in our control to keep the price and demand in our control.
60  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: I want start a social network but somethings holding me back on: May 06, 2019, 06:18:24 AM
I have this burning desire for starting a social network but I lack the programming skills to achieve it. sometimes just wishing I had the money to hire the programmers to help me realize the project. Most times i have noticed the rate at which crypto-blockchain projects are failing recently is alarming, seeing that most are focused on delivering the latest cutting edge and must complex solutions, which is a good one in my view.

On a serious note I'm absolutely convinced that usability is the way to go with simplicity as it focus, rather than multiplicity of features not needed at the infancy of a project. Driving a good user base at starting is very good for growth.
You need a strong team for your backup if you are planning to launch a social network site because the expense which you have to face to entirely develop a social network would be high enough until you yourself develop the entire platform. If you are running a low budget project then you can learn programming and developing yourself and try to develop the platform on your own.

This is what can be a better solution for you in minimal capital. There are a lot of social networking platforms out in the market so if you want to survive, you have to do something extra-ordinary which would be beneficial for the community as well to really make your platform go viral with a lot of user base.
