So did a bit of calculating on the remainder of the CAP fund. There is 22.5 million left. Here's my thoughts.
1) Leave 5 million untouched to stake and use for bounties or whatever.
2) Put 2MM on exchange to sell at 10-20 sats. Help fill out the sell side and use it for putting some back on the buy side as well.
3) Move the remainder to my personal wallet.(15MM ish)
Over the last 4 to 5 years, I have put in 500 to 600 hours of work, pretty much with no much to gain. What money I did get, was based on what I bought or staked/mined on my own, no premining, or anything like that.
I would like to do a small bit more of work for CAP, but unless get something out of my time, I just can't commit to anything. I have so very little time these days, and I can't continue to work for free. So the 15 million at 10 sats, would average out to about $12-15/hr give or take, with the older work and the planned new work. Considering my current skill set is worth close to $90/hr in the market place. I think this is pretty fair.
So let me know everyone thinks. If this seems un-fair, no worries. I will have to kill the reminder of the fix money and I'll just move on.

pretty much same as HBN.
In order for a stake to split, it has be over your threshold. Your wallet will combine smaller UXTOs up to the combine threshold

getinfo matches getcheckpoint. And the BE matches me which also matches Cryptopia(they are lagging slightly behind). otherwise I dunno.

Was there anything put in place to mitigate the same attack from happening again?
Right now just check points. But the real security comes from many many people staking. Plus Crypotopia needs to change the depo confirmations from a low number(10?) to high number like 200. All 3 of these will prevent future attacks. |

@Tranz On March 19th in a thread started by you and ending with @spidersbox on March 21st per the threads here. @spidersbox got the BE up and running for you/us and he did if I read the thread correctly. The agreement back then was 1MM a month for 12 months to keep it up and running. I am not a BE expert just going back in the threads as this did ring a bell. I would check in with him, to verify that it indeed was him. Again it is what I read and understood. Hope that helps Yes whomever has the BE up and running just let me know if you want the bounty. |

I don't see any reasons why you shouldn't send all the coins right away. For those with coins stuck on cryptopia it is much better that the coins are in cryptopias possession than yours. This exactly. The real reason is he's having to much fun using all our coins to mint with. From the beginning @Tranz has done nothing but cooperate and working with Cryptopia to get EVERYONE'S coins back. Truth be told, the coin itself is almost worthless. Those of us hanging on, are doing so probably more for sentimental reasons than anything else. If anyone has a better Idea on what he is doing or how he is going about it then BELLY UP TO THE BAR and do something. But to whine about the fact that he still has them, and minting with them, makes no progress and creates unnecessary noise. Nobody works for free these days so why should he. So I will send them the full amount as soon I as I get the confirmation on the address they want to receive them. Then I will send the people who have created the explorer some. Then I am either going to give the rest to Crypopia if they will re-list CAP. Or I just burn them and be done. Perhaps those who complain will use that energy to do something useful, likely not, but hey never know. |

I asked for info about cap on cryptopia, the reply I got was:
"Bottlecaps is still syncing, it's very very slow"
Cryptopia wallet has been stuck on block 906,134 for at least a week now. No they got past it a while ago, but never updated the message. I think they were in the 3MM a week ago. |

Cryptopia told me they were resyning the block chain. They were about on about 5.1 million on Wed/Thursday. So hopefully should be complete sometime in the next week or so.

i'm wondering if its adding the self-send amounts but failing to subtract the amounts coming from the same address as itself?
and what prevents you from checking all that in explorer ? nothing preventing me. other than only having 1 day weekends from work and not actually caring if it gets fixed. Best answer ever! |
