10th May price from 9k to 1k granted only 1.5 BTC
14th May price from 9k to 3k 60 BTC volume (quite alot. could be regarded as a big dump for this coin)
16th May price from 8k to 3k 25 BTC volume ( still alot for this size of coin)
19th May price from 5k to 2k 2 BTC volume not too much.
Now all these dumps happened, on Yobit, before the dev leaving was announced. Looks like a dev team dump to me. I have no real evidence and unless the team come out and admit it then it's all circumstantial but looks fishy.
Why so salty ? I didn't sell a single CRBIT (yet), and I left the project purely because of lack of time and some other personal issues that I don't need to discuss with you or with anyone else that I don't know personally in that matter, my last commit to CRBIT repos was 23 days ago. Not to point that I do not hide my public GitHub activity, you could see that I am/was so busy the last couple of months with other projects, it is about priorities and right now Creditbit is not my top priority... so please quit your fucking winning and do something for the project if you care about it I would add one more thing, I don't owe you or anyone else shit OK? don't feel entitled because you hold some CRBIT, that doesn't buy you any privileges in my books, and you don't get to decide or comment on when I sell or buy or what ever the fuck I want to do with my money OK? The altcoin section spoiled you way too much. |

So this pool is a fork of Open Ethereum Pool made by Sammy, these guys behind this pool delete every link to the main project, takes all credits and even replace the donation address of sammy by theirs.... even they don't understand what GPLv3 licence mean or they are playing dump. Since I've been in open source for some time, these kids are the worst type of people, they don't contribute to the community in anyway, it is not wrong to run a service for profit, but have you thought about the guy who spent days of his life writing the code then open sourcing it for you to take and make profit with it? you just decided to rip him off and not acknowledge his work, even worst you didn't contribute the changes you made to the main project. I wouldn't support these people by mining in their pool, let them return Sammy's address, point to github repo and pull request with the addiction they did... you know the things that a normal decent person would do. |

I noticed an additional issue: https://explorer.creditbit.org/Lists the total available coins as : 36386.61961239 Which is incorrect. So in addition to no richlist, it mis-reports coins. There is no additional issues, as you can see the height is also not right because the Block explorer is re-indexing and it won't have an accurate info until it is done doing that. |

I'm no expert, but its fast, regularly, deposited and confirmed, before I close email confirmation from exchanges. That will help in adoption as almost instant transactions are what its going to take to be used by more people and business. Wallet is good and developers are active. CRBIT struggles with the same problem that all altcoins have. What do I use it for? Until someone comes up with a situation where you can only purchase something with CRBIT or CRBIT needs to be used, it will be difficult to spur adoption. As people really need to want to use it. Sure people can speculate on it, but speculation really is only good for pump and dump, and not real value. For BTC originally this was done (unfortuantely) with drugs and Silk road. People could only purchase their drugs through silk road if they had BTC, so people had to get it. Thus adoption happened. Because of this being so successful people started asking what else can I buy with my BTC? Silk road was shut down, but a lot of people had it and it worked well enough, so its become what we have today. What will be CRBIT's silk road? (it doesn't need to be drugs or anything like that) but what will be the service that makes people go, hey I have to get CRBIT to use this, so I will. The technological superiority is one thing, but its not enough to really drive people to use it. I second this post, Bitcoin has its network effect, Litecoin has "the oldest altcoin" crown (which is slowly losing its effect), Ethereum is a platform that acts as a decentralized computer, Dash/Monero are working on their anonymous features... and Creditbit also needs a purpose in order to get the mass adoption needed. There are some altcoins out there that don't have 20% of the infrastructure that Creditbit has, yet they are more valued and more traded than Creditbit. This is one of the things that I never got about Crypto, John Maynard once said "The Market Can Remain Irrational Longer Than You Can Remain Solvent", and I see and experience this everyday, if the markets would rationally act to common sense and fundamentals, I would be a millionaire already. What I am trying to say is that we are happily maintaining the Creditbit repos, but we can't meet all people's expectations, It is up to the community now, you are the value of Creditbit. |

The only one that really has zerotime transactions implemented (0.23 seconds), performs thousands of transactions per second more than all made with VISA around the world and the coins can be respendable in 1 second. Please contact me only persons who have 2mio CRBITs. Other smaller deals do not interest me, because I can buy cheaper coins on exchange. Collecting small quantities is for my business too risky, because I have to provide for the distribution of a large quantity. Thanks!

Just wanted to be transparent about this issue, I tried to fix the richlist issue many times(reindexing, deploying a new server...) with no luck, I even reported it to the explorer dev. I am trying to fix it one more time right now, if not I will try to find another solution to show the richlist. |

 it seems like the author made a mistake while typing the title, then fixed it later but the link wasn't corrected so it won't lead to 404 pages... they run wordpress this can be corrected with the right plugin, but I am not going to teach people how to do their jobs. |

Does anyone have any contacts with one of the chinese exchanges? Missing out on another market there of people who might be interested in a legitimate coin.
China is a special market, we've tried to get in touch with few exchanges but no hope, just take a look, it is a really strange market, even Ethereum is not well known/established there ! Update:- I will also release a new version of creditbit-qt (1.5.0) that fixes few bugs and add new checkpoints (mostly done just need to push it), and I will update Electrum as well. - We are paying for a marketing campaign that will start the next few days, I hope this will bring some more attention. Truth is that I am a bit lazy and overwhelmed with work at the same time, so I am trying to keep up with my job, Creditbit and with other personal projects all at once, I am sure that more people will jump in and help once the value will appreciate some more. |

I PM-ed you a build that sends hashrate in solo mode, does it work for you? I think monitoring will be available in next version, it will be ready in a few days. What about the Stratum-Stratum proxy you said you will have in couple of days? this is the only thing putting us off using Claymore. BTW: I would also appreciate if you have Linux builds. I decided not to do a proxy, at least not right now. Proxy has two advantages: 1. You can easiliy change the pool list, it will be applied for all rigs. Option "send pool list to all rigs" will be available in the monitoring utility that I will release in a few days. 2. You can get less data traffic and reduce pool load. But you will not see rigs on pool, only one proxy will be showed there. Data size is not important for 99% of people, but everyone wants to see detailed stats on pool. Also proxy must support all stratum versions and convert them into some one stratum version that miners will use. Possible but requires time to implement. So I decided to release an utility that can monitor miners and manage their settings, but it will not be a proxy, at least first version. You can argue, I'm ready for feedbacks. Actually thats what I was asking about, so can I get a test version maybe ? Otherwise I need to discuss something with you, can you PM me please? |

Or use an utility that can connect to miners and show their status and also allows you to send them updated pools settings, this way you can apply new settings for all rigs at once.
That was also my thought, so I do some research. Unfortunately, it looks like, there is no utility which is compatible with your miner software....  Yes, I think I will have to write it my self, the only problem is that I need to study stratum code and see it works first, a DevOps practice would be to look if the tool exist then just use it and work on improving it. |

I need a proxy for group management, so in other words I want to point a bunch of rigs using this miner to a proxy so I don't have to mess with each rig individually but I would be able to just edit/change the proxy config.
The problem with dwarfpool stratum-proxy is that it works only one way Stratum=>getwork, and I need a proxy that support Stratum<=>Stratum, any Ideas ?

there was a lot of fake volume on ccex too last few days......now it shows on price as legitimate people will back out of a coin that's being manipulated like that, fake volume........and way too obvious !
The price drop we are seeing right now, is not "legitimate people" backing out, its one wallet on bittrex (that had 300K) has sold out down to 100K. Just more manipulation, people should just hold tight and scoop up this asshole's coins. The dev team seems to have their shit together, so the future is bright, regardless of what this jerk is doing with the price right now. Amazing, so when people were posting about buying in bulk and were offering good money he didn't feel selling (I even offered buying here and had open orders), but he rather dump on exchanges for half the price, this guy is even a fucking idiot or a genius. |
