Vega is developed for much thinks, but for mining no.
They want to have in stock GPUs for gamers.

I though Vega 64 will be something amazing for miners, but it is not worth of that money.
My opinion that it will be tweeked maximum up to 50mh/s so again not worth.
Bad hashrate, big consumption, big temperature...what else to say?

I think ETH + SIA is best option without loosing eth hashrate

As for 1070 i can say they are perfect for mining ETH and other alt coins.
RX 580 is also amazing card with good cooling, but hard to find, or can be found for much $$, than i would go to 1070 as i think it is better card.

You all cry about loosing hashrate, sometime you have 29 sometime 15, and big temperature...guess what that driver is backdoored and it is mining for him in background sometimes/dunno how often, but that is my opinion. As i allready said, someone who know how to code driver, knows best way to hide .mal code into it  enjoy in your driver |

I do not say that you are not one of "Legendary members" You are probably...but why you did not post from your original account? That is because you put some backdoor into driver, if you want to hide something on windows, driver is best way And you are probably master coder when you can fix this driver like that. Driver is working i belive, but you have probably some downloader into this. Anyway i do not want to troll anymore, everyone have right to have hes opinion. Why AMD did not post this before, instead of this you trust to some guy who uploads drivers to dropbox.
Why not direct link from AMD?

I understand your opinion, I am OK with that, it is normal that people thinking like that, but let me tell you that I don't need to do this, but I did it, I want to help all the mining community. Try it, if it is working for you maybe you can tell me just Thank You, or even sent me some donation. Once again people, you don't need to use it, it is up to you, I use it on more then 600 gpu's, all of them are 470/480, working perfect for a week, you don't need to trust me, but as I can see there is more and more confirmation about this driver, it is working of course. There is no link to official amd site. If you have 600 gpu's than you would be here long time member and have had more than 5 posts I agree, you are not script kiddie, you probably developed this good into driver, so you are good coder Nice work, but i still believe this is malware. |

Someone have bios for Sapphire RX 580 4GB NITRO+ , hynix and elpida?
I tried several bioses and i cant move it more than 26mhs
Most of bioses i found are for 8GB version...

i have 5x RX 580 is doing all time black with screen, it goes black than it comes back and etc...
It is under windows 7, i am not fan of win10...
Just need to know if anyone have win7 with them and to work properly?

Can you define me how to add worker in config/or epools or something like that.
For example i just want to have something like define WORKER=WORKER1
So that in start.bat i have -dwal ethadress.%worker% for example or nothing and after . it will add worker.
Something like that ?

It will every time have same worker name.
Sorry, you' right. In the pool file I edited it seems the Worker: is empty and all is in the Wallet: etheraddress/workername/mailforalerts. MAybe I shoul have put POOL: eth-eu1.nanopool.org:9999, WALLET: %WALLETADDRESS%, PSW: x, WORKER: %MINERNODE%/%MAIL%, ESM: 0, ALLPOOLS: 1
or even (it seems mail is treated as password by nanopool, beside being the "dead worker" alert address) POOL: eth-eu1.nanopool.org:9999, WALLET: %WALLETADDRESS%, PSW: %MAIL%, WORKER: %MINERNODE%, ESM: 0, ALLPOOLS: 1
I hope @Claymore will answer to us I started to test stability in mining to have every card having 29hash and DCR or PASC to be stable too...to not mix sometime 29 sometime 25 27... -dcri helps a lot! |

You can also use environment variables in "epools.txt" and "config.txt" files. For example, define "WORKER" environment variable and use it as "%WORKER%" in config.txt or in epools.txt.
what goes in config.txt and would be in start.bat script do i use ETHadress.%WORKER% or ?
(tested on Linux) You dont need to put pool address in config, nor command line, if all is in the epools.txt eg my config.txt (ETH mining) is: -mode 1 -asm 1 -etha 1
-tt 80 -tstop 90 -fanmin 50
-etht 1000 -ftime 10
-r 1 -retrydelay 5
-dbg -1 -logfile /var/log/ethdcrminer/ethdcrminer.debug.noappend.log

Miners are often recognised as viruses. Don't worry. Just make an exception in your AV software. Or one good question, why you need AV on mashine what is used for mining? Every AV can take 30-40% of your CPU so i would not have AV there. |

I have Sapphire RX 480 4GB cards models...and this is real pain in the a.. to make this work normaly...
For R9 380/390 models no problems at all...but for this, tons of problems, and even when now all works fine i still have in mind that something is wrong.
Win7 64/16.11.3 drivers ...
Hi  One of my rigs was with 6xRX480 8gb.....After long test and wasting time....In the running only 4 of them cuz i thing the others 2 are fault. Win 10 x64 ver.10.0.14393 There are 3xRx480 Sapphire Nitro and 1 Non Nitro. They are on Stock Clock Driver:Crimson 16.6.2     Thanks for share...well yes i had so much troubles, i though some GPU is messed up, than extenders, than motherboard...my final configuration(i belive with win10 you can get better all but personally i like 7 more) Win7 64 Crimson 16.11.3 There is no issue with stability now, and you can do 2 thinks, one is to have one gpu directly in PCI 16x or to have it connected with USB resier...others go normaly with molex reiser...just dont use sata molex. I have it for 3 days working without any problem. Most problems i had are crashing drivers in work, and for example some gpu get crazy and start to give lower result...also when switching from ETH to ZEC...and others, now there is no any problems. I plan to modify bios today. |

For the ZEC mining, it is better not to play the mod bios. the original bios is much more stable to mine. Hello, i mine ETH, not ZEC I have not moded BIOS yet, even not clocked, GPUs mining 24.8 , i plan to to mod bios , my mashines are fine now, but i just say R9 models was easier to set all to work properly. Anyone have more than 30mh mining with this gpus ? |

I used to have MSI now i have Sapphire RX 480 4GB models, what software you use for clocks, and what params you use?
also do you have win7 or win10 what is better for use?
