402  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading altcoin and holding bitcoin which one is more profitable? on: September 04, 2017, 01:16:58 AM
I have come to realize in recent time that holding bitcoin in ones wallet is more profitable and a little bit risk free as compared to trading altcoin or what do you think ?
For me, trading altcoin is more profitable than holding bitcoins. Sometimes I do day trade and I earn many bitcoins because of the day trading. Many altcoins nowadays are very profitable.
403  Economy / Economics / Re: Where did you first heard about Bitcoins? on: September 03, 2017, 04:59:49 AM
In my personal experience, I first heard of it 1 year ago in a online forum game, people sold gold for Bitcoins, around March, gave it no importance at first. Now im kinda utterly commited to it. Really an interest subject of study.
I first encounter the term bitcoin in my twitter account. I saw many advertisement that is promoting bitcoin, because of that I became curious to the bitcoin and eventually I became interested to the bitcoin.
404  Economy / Economics / Re: How to teach kids about Bitcoin? on: September 03, 2017, 03:54:39 AM
http://finance.yahoo.com/news/9-ways-kids-smarter-money-100050132.html

This article doesn't talk about bitcoin but it got me thinking how to get kinds interested in bitcoin within the context of appropriate money management lessons. Think of we could teach kinds about it. The growth, the adoption, the inflation and retraction. The allure of the "internet money".

...what other ideas come to mind?
For me, kids are not yet ready to encounter the bitcoin. The bitcoin is not for kids. Bitcoin is not applicable for kids because of the bad effect that may get. There is still kids so I think it is not good idea if we teach bitcoin to the kids.
405  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin now the strongest currency in the world? on: September 03, 2017, 03:16:23 AM
After the events of last week.

I was making this suggestion to some folks yesterday, but they claimed that bitcoin is too small.  Does it matter?
Bitcoin is the strongest currency in the cryptocurrency and not in the world. Bitcoin can't surpass the fiat currency because bitcoin doesn't have a power. Bitcoin is still not popular in the world.
406  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Turn $10,000 into 1 Million on: September 02, 2017, 03:22:41 PM
Perhaps not exactly "trading", but it just might be one of the shortest time frame investments you'll ever make.  Wink

How about a portfolio competition?

Using today’s price to establish opening position cost basis, the following portfolio has a minimum target of $100,000 (if everything goes wrong) and a maximum (still conservative) target of $1,000,000. (Explaining the reasons why goes beyond the scope of this friendly competition.)

Litecoin (LTC) – 50%
BitShares (BTS) – 10%
STEEM (STEEM) – 10%
Syscoin (SYS) – 10%
Nxt (NXT) – 10%
PIVX (PIVX) – 5%
NEM (XEM) – 5%

We’ll see how it does. Wish me luck!

Full Disclosure: I currently hold many of these issues as “long term” investments (but not all at this exact time since I’m still looking for a better entry on one in particular), and could purchase or sell any, at any time, and/or trade short term as well, with the weighting for this “model” portfolio being somewhat different from my own, where, for example, I am currently overweight LTC, BTS and PIVX.

Edit: Forgot one very small detail at the time: the price of Bitcoin. It's highlighted on the 5 min chart below.

Ok, Roll credits.  GG guys time to go home.
It is obvious that the bitcoin is very strong now. The bitcoin is now reaching $5000 in this moment. The bitcoin showing that it is the most profitable coin, the most popular coin and the most powerful coin in the cryptocurrency.
409  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin had a stable price, would it still be as popular? on: August 29, 2017, 10:58:16 PM
Do you think if BTC had a stable price which could only be altered by $0.01-0.10 it would still be as popular and as used?
I don't know what the bitcoin will be if the bitcoin had stable price but I think the bitcoin will not become popular. All of the people who are in this cryptocurrency world entered because of the bitcoin. The price is really matter.
410  Economy / Economics / Re: Pros and cons of bitcoins for consumers and businessmen on: August 29, 2017, 09:55:46 AM
I am a student and I can say that the bitcoin have pros and cons to me. The advantage of the bitcoin to me is I gain now many profits but the disadvantage is I can't focus to my studying.
411  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: did you place all your funds into bitcoin? on: August 29, 2017, 09:04:38 AM
I am thinking .. to put all my money in bitcoin what do you think? is it a good way to grow my money? or it is risky or.. ?
I invested half of my funds in the bitcoin. The investment is risky but I have a faith and hope to the bitcoin. Try to put half of your money for you to generate profits. Do not afraid to invest your money to the bitcoin.
412  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where to learn how to trade on: August 29, 2017, 12:36:14 AM
I recommend using youtube as im personally much more of an interactive learner. Try and focus on forex trading strategies such as MACD usage, get familiar with the different indicators and how to use them to your advantage.

Secondly, follow the news. News is the best thing to interperate a forthcoming trend a good example of this was the general UK election where the pound dropped against USD almost 2% to put this scenario simply two major parties Labour and Conservative, if conservative won majority the pound would spike, labour wins the pound drops, hung parliament pound drops. It was a hung parliament the pound has gone to shit, to get to the point understand economic trends and these can be replicated in both forex, commodity and crypto trading.
Youtube is the best source of information about trading. I learned trading because of the youtube. I always watch different videos in youtube everyday about trading. It is really helps me to become a expert trader.
413  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If you have 1 BTC , is it good decisions to go all-in in 1 coins? on: August 28, 2017, 11:27:20 AM
the title says it all, i wanted to learn some advice from you guys, how you guys actually manage trading if you already had with that such amounts or more
For me it is a bad decision. If I have 1 btc, I will invest it in different ICO. I know that many ICO today are really promising and have a great potential in the market. If I have 1 btc I will not invest it in 1 altcoin.
414  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you explain Bitcoin or crypto to complete newcomer on: August 28, 2017, 06:18:44 AM
So I've been involved in Bitcoin and crypto for about 5 months now and just about everyone I tell about it being friends and family most have never heard of it or the few that have they have no understanding of it so I was just curious into how others explain it all to total newcomers is their a webpage or video you may show for an easy understanding to explain it all ? Whenever I give my explanation it seems to go way over their head  Roll Eyes Cheers
It is really hard to explain the bitcoin and the cryptocurrency to the people who doesn't aware about that. I experienced that when I explained the bitcoin to my friend. I explained to him to how the bitcoin works and what is it, when I finished explained it he replied to me "huh?" and "I did not get it". It is not easy to explain the bitcoin.
415  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin: Best investment in 2017? on: August 28, 2017, 05:44:33 AM
Bitcoin price has outperformed every reserve and fiat currency across the world year to date, yet again. By outperforming the US dollar by over 30 percent, Bitcoin surpassed the growth of the Mexican Peso, Silver, Gold and Russian Ruble to become the best performing currency so far in 2017.

Thus far, 2017 has been a successful year for both Bitcoin investors and alternative cryptocurrency (altcoin) traders, with leading altcoins or crypto assets such as Ethereum achieving a $5 bln market cap in early April. The Bitcoin market, however, experienced some major changes in its ecosystem earlier this year. The major driving force of Bitcoin price in 2017 is suspected to be the resolution of the Bitcoin network’s current scalability problems.

The Bitcoin network’s one MB cap on block size is causing Blockchain congestion, a drastic increase in fees at times and long confirmation times. If Bitcoin scalability issues are addressed within this year, with innovative solutions such as Bitcoin Core’s Segregated Witness (SegWit), Andrew Lee’s Extension Blocks or other potential emerging solutions, Bitcoin price will most likely demonstrate an exponential mid and long-term increase.

Would you invest in BTC this year?
Bitcoin is really the best investment. If we invest today, for sure in the near future we will earn a lot of money. We can observe that the progress of the bitcoin in the market is very good. I know that this following years, the bitcoin will become more stronger.
416  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it possible for the bitcoin to lose it's value ? on: August 28, 2017, 04:24:06 AM
Hi , I'm new so basically I still have a lot to learn about the cryptocurrency , but I would like to know if it would be possible for the bitcoin to start the downfall ? I mean like what scenario can happen that the bitcoin would be pushed back like 5-6 years ?
Sorry if my post is in the wrong place or it's not relevant.
There are no reasons that the bitcoin will lose it's value. I think the bitcoin will increase it's value because of the demand of the people. Many people are now getting interested to what is the bitcoin.
417  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to know about next pump? on: August 27, 2017, 01:25:47 PM
I am keen to know how to find which coin is going to get pumped next and when.
Is it possible to know for sure?has anyone here predicted accurately about next pump?
It is really hard to predict if the coin we are holding will pump or dump. Being a trader is not an easy job. Everyday we need to observe the progress of all the coins that we have.
418  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you see trading as fun and games? on: August 27, 2017, 06:46:32 AM
Of course no. Trading is not a game or just a hobby. We need to make serious the trading because we all know that trading is very risky job. It is really hard to predict whether we will earn profit or not.

420  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Vs Bitcoin Cash on: August 26, 2017, 04:09:33 PM
What do you think of Bitcoin Cash?
Do you think it will have the same value as Bitcoin or it will be just another Alt. Coin in the crypto market?

I think the bitcoin cash can't surpass the bitcoin. The bitcoin is now more powerful than before and the price of the bitcoin is continuing to rising up. I think that there is no altcoin that can surpass the bitcoin.
