401  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Cash is better than Bitcoin. on: October 02, 2017, 07:02:38 AM
When you compare when it comes to its value, Bitcoin is way way better than Cash. Bitcoin's value is increasing in value. But when it comes to availability and can use anytime on hand. I prefer cash. We all know Bitcoin is not acceptable on all merchants. That is why we convert our Bitcoin into cash. So for emergency purposes and for daily use, Cash is still the best.
402  Economy / Economics / Re: Money above all things, Yes or no ? on: October 02, 2017, 06:56:40 AM
I can see that people nowadays are busy searching on money and everything depends on money. People nowadays never go to church just because they would rather earn money rather than praise God. Others do not pay respect to elders  because they earn money for them or richer than them. Well for you, is money above all things ?

Depends on the person. And yes there are people whose money is very important to them. Even they will argue with their own family just because of money. But for me, God will always be my number one. You can't reach what you have right now if not with God. All blessings that we have rigth now, it is because of God's will.
403  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think are the biggest disadvantages of Bitcoin? on: October 02, 2017, 05:22:58 AM
What's preventing Bitcoins from being accepted as mainstream payment forms? I'm working on a new blockchain and would like to learn what drawbacks of Bitcoin urgently need to be improved Wink

I think the only thing that prevents Bitcoin to be accepted in all countries because of its anonymity. Being anonymous means they cannot track the identity of that address. So some genius people may use that characteristics of Bitcoin to use that for money laundering. It may be use by people in politics to hide their corrupted money.
404  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trade or Hodling on: October 02, 2017, 05:16:20 AM
I would just like to hear your opinions, Which is more profitable, Day Trading where you can profit through buying the dips and selling when it pumps repeatedly, or Long term HODLing where you buy the dip and only sell it when it goes up 5 to 10 times its price value?

It depends on how much amount is your investment. If you want to have day trading, though you can trade in any amount but it is good to trade if you have a large amount of Bitcoin to use on scalping. But if you wanna start in a small amount of Bitcoin. It is recommended to start on investing. Like hodling potential coins for about 3 - 6 months. But Of course, both will give you good profit. Just be careful.
405  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin End World Poverty? on: October 02, 2017, 05:02:01 AM

I don't think Bitcoin will be the answer of the growing rate of poverty. Because even those people who are earning big and getting short because their expenses is greater than income can still be considered in the state of poverty. Yes, you earn much than the average earning people, but if you cannot budget wisely your income, it will lead you broke. So for me, Bitcoin will help for those people who can't find job, but it won't make you rich if you cannot handle your income properly. We need financial education to teach us how to manage our finances.
406  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency? on: October 02, 2017, 04:01:01 AM
bitcoin will never be replaced. it is the first and biggest cryptocurrency that came to exist and it is the pioneer of this technology which everybody else is just copying from to create their own alternative coin (altcoin).

and to those who are saying ethereum will replace bitcoin I have to say there have been a lot of ethereums before eth with a different name who claimed to be the "thing" and they even came close but they have all faded away in the history.

Yes, Bitcoin will never be replaced. Even Ethereum has many features with Bitcoin (some features ETH is way better), Bitcoin will still the Mother of all Cryptos.

409  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Trading vs Gambling on: September 29, 2017, 06:40:23 PM
Gambling has a fixed odds system for all major games. Trading in the markets is truly unpredictable. Trading and Gambling are quite different. To benefit from both you must increase your odds in order to win.
410  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to Become A Bitcoin Expert on: September 29, 2017, 06:19:20 PM
If you would like to become Bitcoin Expert you must read articles or wikipedia posts about Bitcoin and Blockchain. You may also read books about Bitcoin. I think there are books that are published about Bitcoin. In order for you to fully understand, you must apply what you've learn. So you invest in Bitcoin and altcoins and always follow them. Study the flow- their nature. And lastly, you must attend seminars if there is, so that you can gain knowledge from others' opinion and ideas. This will help you understand those terms or cases that you may not understand by your own.
411  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would you do with your winnings? on: September 29, 2017, 05:43:07 PM
I've read here a lot about "Gambling doesn't make you rich" So I thought about it, and it does make sense. So what do you feel about gambling then? Just entertainment? I think that's not everybody's mindset.

In the back of my mind, I want to be rich but not because of gambling. But when I gamble, I still always want to win. So when you always win, you become more rich and more risk will be involved. Anyway, if I would earn a winning bet that would have a lot of profit from, I would withdraw the initial bet or the bitcoins I deposited to get it back, then still gamble.

If you would have a winning bet that would give you a lot of profit, what would you do with it?

If there will come a time that God give me a lucky day then I won in gambling, that would be one of the happiest of my life. With that winnings, first I will put up my own business so that my winnings will leverage. Second , I will buy my own mansion that can accommodate all my family. Third, I will travel the world by myself only.  Grin
412  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The best way to quit gambling for good on: September 29, 2017, 04:45:16 PM
Gambling is usually to satisfy some of human daily life's demands. Might be you will find easier not to go gamble if you can take part in other wholesome activities in life.
413  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to play gambling in a smart way? on: September 29, 2017, 04:14:13 PM
I have noticed so many players are just gambling for the sake of profits only. But majority of them loses most of the games eventually as they are not smart players.

So how should we gamble in a smart way so that we do not get more frustrations due to continuous losses?

Do take breaks from the gambling activity you are involved in. By taking a break you not only cut your turnover and therefore losses, you also refresh your brain. It gives you a chance to get your emotions back under control if you have been having a big winning or losing streak.
414  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: September 29, 2017, 03:24:24 PM
I don't know why but I always get a feeling to gamble, after then losing my money, I quit for some time and then continue, but I know I will lose my btc Sad

Why is it so addictive?

Gambling is one of the most addictive things that people can be addicted to. One of the factor is that person experience of an early big win. The buzz is winning such a large amount can sometimes be overwhelming and the fact it arrives so early means that player thinks it is easy to land such wins than what it is in reality.
415  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Paano kung ang bitcoin ay bumaba ? Magpapatuloy Kapa rin ba ? on: September 29, 2017, 02:57:25 PM

Kaya the more na maraming bumibili, the more na tumataas ang presyo and vice versa. Pag bumaba si Bitcoin dalawa lang dapat mong gawin, Hodl mo yung Bitcoin mo at bumili ka pa ulit ng Bitcoin.
416  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Kaya Pa Bang Kumita Ng Maganda Sa Pinas? on: September 29, 2017, 12:30:24 PM

417  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Deep Onion on: September 29, 2017, 03:12:51 AM
Deeponion focused on privacy and it is only making anonymous by integrating TOR protocol. It protects its user's from network surveillance by government or hackers. One thing I also like about Deeponion is that it has a strong  community. Even there are a lot of coins similar to Deeponion, it is still valuable because it has so many believers.

419  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most secure way to keep your Ethereum safe on: September 27, 2017, 01:10:41 AM
It is not recommended to keep your funds on an exchange. There are some cases that they get hacked. I recommend MyEtherWallet.com (MEW), it is considered trustworthy and fine to use. It is very convenient because you do not have to download the entire blockchain to use it. Ledger Nano S is also I wanna recommend. It is a hardware USB device that will secure your private keys. But if you lose the USB device, you'd better have backed up the seed phrase or else your ETHER is gone.
420  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What would you do with 10 eth on: September 26, 2017, 12:35:29 PM
Hi Guy's,

Where would you invest 10 eth in when you can and why? Smiley

I would spend it to buy another Alternative coins so that my 10 ETH will become 100 ETH or more. I've been always fond of NEO, WAVES and NEM. That coins will be my long term favorites. I believe its value will times 10 next year. So hodl. hodl. hodl.
