401  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTS Lancelot FPGA Pre-order - 30 units - June 9th on: June 07, 2013, 01:35:41 AM
I'll offer 0.5 btc each.

withdrawn. Didn't know it was simply an unpaid space in line.

I'm a little confused then, you were trying to offer $60 dollars worth of Bitcoin for a $300 dollar piece of hardware that hasn't even been purchased yet? I fail to see how that makes any sense at all.

I am selling a pre-order position. This will get you a spot to buy some hardware in the next couple of days and be mining bitcoin with it. Not easy to get this soon for these devices.

I am selling these because I got my hands on a few hundred GH of ASIC hardware and no longer need these.

Hope that clears things up some.

I'll offer 0.5 btc each.

Just to clarify, you're paying .5 btc per unit, so .5 x30 *for example, to take over the June 9th slot, you're paying 15 BTC for my slot, correct?

Thanks.
403  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTS Lancelot FPGA Pre-order - 30 units - June 9th on: June 06, 2013, 02:12:53 PM
Are you accepting bids for the June order under your $300 purchase price?

Accepting bids for the pre-order slot, you're not going to get away with not paying their price for the units.

Pretty sure somebody already mentioned this, but selling google glass permits google to shut the glasses down.

Ya, doesn't happen. Already moved them on to a few different google accounts, no issues at all.

Taking offers for my second pair!

Second pair? How'd you get two pairs?

I had a pair and my business partner had a pair. He saw what I fetched for mine and asked me to sell his too.

Looking for offers for the spot. Paid $300 per, ETA June 9th.

Also have another pre-order slot for Jun 27th for another 40 units.

Please make an offer in BTC to take the spot over.

Thanks!

First post updated.
410  Economy / Auctions / Re: SELLING: Working Avalon ASIC miner (NOT a preorder) on: June 01, 2013, 08:02:56 PM
asicminer sells blades 50 btc per 10ghash, so 230s not crazy high.  Still think 2.5 btc per ghash is my entry point.
I'm you will probably find someone that will pay around your 'opening' price because there's still the Bitcoin ASIC fever going on but I highly doubt much more. I'd have started the auction a bit lower.

Considering ASICMINER blades pricing of 50btc * 7 = 350btc for the same GH/s, it's clearly a bargain. Especially keeping in mind that those blades will be shipping god-knows-when while this unit can start mining for you tomorrow. If no one is willing to make a reasonable bid for this unit, I'm quite content keeping it to myself. I'm not in any hurry to sell it at all.

Though the blades were auctioned off a while ago now. I don't think anyone is buying blades at 50 BTC now. Good luck with the auction though, a little pricey but hey you snooze you lose.

Exactly and the way these are depreciating it's just my opinion that the starting bid is quite high is all. If it was a true auction, you shouldn't start at the high end price (if you're truly auctioning something and willing to take the market demand price. Clearly this is more of a classified for sale ad 'hoping' to fetch some super high dollars. Probably explains why there's 0 bids.. not a bargain... enough said.

Starting bid is 230 BTC which is ~78 days breakeven at current difficulty (yes, I know, difficulty may raise, caveat emptor). Bid increments are 1 BTC. The auction will run till Tuesday, June 4th, 13:00:00 PST (20:00:00 GMT). If there are new bids in the last hour of the auction, it will be extended for another 6 hours to give everyone an opportunity to amend their bids.

Ya, starting bit 230 = Pretty much the top dollar for these on the 'wave'. If someone offers you 230, jump on it...

Also important to note that these things literally go down in value by the day for several reasons. I personally wouldn't gamble that long of an ROI with all of the different things that could take place making it a lost investment for that kind of money.

I've seen these go for 10grand easy... Now we see how much btc someone is willing to pay

Ya, at this point there are no BTC offers that I'd accept but someone did make an interesting cash offer, waiting to see how that pans out.
414  Economy / Goods / Re: WTS pair of RARE Google Glass for BTC! NONE FOR SALE ANYWHERE! on: May 29, 2013, 03:03:32 PM
Wow 90,000$ is awfully expensive for a pair of glasses.
I think that was a mock listing...

It was actually just one of many that got bid up like that. I honestly don't know how they panned out for the sellers.
415  Economy / Goods / Re: WTS pair of RARE Google Glass for BTC! NONE FOR SALE ANYWHERE! on: May 29, 2013, 03:43:11 AM
I would love to buy these but I'm too afraid that google will block them  Sad

Been moved on to several different Google accounts already with no issues. Been used in different states with no issues. Doesn't seem like there will be any issues.

The only thing I'm not certain what would happen is if you used them outside of the USA. (but you could always use a proxy for that too)

Glass has also already been jailbroken so you could flash linux on to them and use them if Google ever did try to brick them.
416  Economy / Goods / Re: WTS pair of RARE Google Glass for BTC! NONE FOR SALE ANYWHERE! on: May 28, 2013, 11:18:48 AM
Does anyone know if the version out there is the one that they will release in 2014, or is it just a concept piece?

There will likely be some changes to the final retail version. This is however a fully functioning dev release. It works great.
417  Economy / Goods / Re: WTS pair of RARE Google Glass for BTC! NONE FOR SALE ANYWHERE! on: May 27, 2013, 07:52:28 PM
Um why would anyone buy these for 90k when everyone can just buy them for $1500 in another couple months? Thats like charging $50,000 for an iphone 5s... whats with the price gougers  lately...

Probably because if someone listened to you thinking they could buy them in a couple of months they would be very upset with you in a couple of months.

That's my guess... since you can't buy them for 1,500 in a couple of months....

Also, have you even read the posts here... No one is trying to sell them for 90k. That was a snip from a news article from like a month ago. Pay attention if you want to troll...
I do belive that google said they plan on releaseing it to users at the end of 2013 early 2014. so that is only 6/7 months

Unofficially from I/O it's mid 2014, IF you believe companies hit their estimated release days. More realistically I'd expect more 2015 being that release days always get pushed back.
2015 your crazy,Mid 2014 is the latest. The only company that gets away with pushing back the date 1 year is BFL.

http://www.t3.com/news/google-glass-price-release-date-specs-and-info

Google said at last I/O it was mid-2014 currently but I honestly predict with a product this big and innovative that'll continue to get pushed back further. We shall see.

Well you're the one who will know how complete and ready they are based on the prototype you have - I assume it's prototype as if they had the glasses ready they would be planning on shipping them soon.

If yours is a prototype I would hold on to it, if it's a fully working model we can assume they'll be ready to ship in the next few months

So tell us, how good are they?

Yes, they are fun to play with, for sure. Very cool, very futuristic but I can tell that they still need a lot added to them for a retail release, which is why they've just released this small amount of them mostly to developers. The rest from what I can tell were mostly released to celebrities (free marketing) and people with big connections. The average Joe really had a snowballs chance in hell of getting them.
