401  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [OPEN] ASICMiner Tube Group Buy #2 on: August 28, 2014, 06:06:51 PM
I have one tube up and running butt I am having a strange issue.  Just want to get any opinions on it.  Seems the controller becomes unresponsive

and I have to power cycle it almost every time there is a block found on the BTC network.  When this happens, The LED to the furthest left is the

only one illuminated.  This is the one closest to the uart connectors.  I am using BFGminer  4.7.0 as a proxy  as Friedcat suggested to mine to Eligius

Also, the BFGmine windows indicates "error from bufferevent" when this occurs. Whatever that means. Huh

Thanks to everyone in advance for thoughts/fixes.
402  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [OPEN] ASICMiner Tube Group Buy #1 on: August 27, 2014, 12:51:00 AM
Would Bfgminer work as a proxy?  Anyone tried this?  I used to use it for the blades/getwork and as I understand it supports stratum.

Has anyone tried it with Eligius?

Thanks!

Edit:  Found out from the official tube thread that Eligius is NOT supported.  Don't know about proxy though.
403  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ASICMiner Tube Sales Information Thread on: August 26, 2014, 02:41:02 AM
yes indeed 144 screws holes to hold all 4 boards to the heat sinks. tiny little shits too  Shocked

Also that is not counting a handful of holes which are off to the side, as I said still no hashing boards so I am not entirely sure if they are needed. Still counting what I received to then divide by 10.

Looks like 1440 to me, still counting.

Seems the .5mil bags they put the hardware in fell apart found remnants in box.

Please tell me this is a joke. This has got to be a joke.

the joke is on me... counting out 156 screws per Tube from 15,000-17,000 thousand bulk screws I was sent.... here comes the scale method and sandwich bags...

Did you order like 100 of these. That would be 15600 screws!
404  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [OPEN] ASICMiner Tube Group Buy #1 on: August 24, 2014, 04:50:09 PM
What are the weight/dimensions for 2 tube kits in one box.  If I want to use FedEx?  If I choose USPS, do I send 2 large and 2 medium for 2 kits?  Looks like someone here is

using three large flat rate boxes for two tubes.  Is this also acceptable?

Thanks!
405  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [OPEN] ASICMiner Tube Group Buy #1 on: August 22, 2014, 02:22:33 PM
Hopefully at least 20 full kits are arriving today as my transaction puts me at unit 19 and 20!  Would be nice if they shipped (to me) today too.

I am sure if enough full kits arrive today Canary will ship them in the order they where paid for, for this is his usual method.

Thanks!

How's development on leaseproxy coming?  I would LOVE to lease my ants but cant due to Eligius not working with it. I am starting to feel I will never be able to lease

them again! Cry

It's in limited beta.  You wanna try it out?

YES PLEASE! Grin

I will buy 2 of these.  Is there a limited number of units in this GB?  Are you going to post a list of who has paid like in the GB's of old?

Thanks!

Do you have more details on the memory?  Such as speed/tech(ddr2,3)/brand.  I might be interested in some of the 8g modules.
413  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: Any one developing for BeagleBone Black other than Mineforeman? on: July 25, 2014, 05:42:35 AM
Wish there was.  I asked about getting Black arrow Bitfury boards to work on one a while back:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=633831.0

Even offered a bounty.  Got nothing.  Right now I have mine soloing using Bfgminer/minepeon.

Great interface!

Any way to get reported errors to be percentage based instead of actual?  All of my ASIC's show up red.

Many thanks helipotte!

Also, your request about HW error percentage is actually going to be in the next major release. Keep an eye here and on our social channels!

Thanks!

In the meantime I just edited on of the php files to allow 7 spaces Vs 2 and set the error threshold very high! Cheesy  This made everything turn green. Grin

Is this coin still alive?  Started mining it yesterday with some Jalapenos I had gatherin' dust and seem to have "revived" the blockchain. Cheesy

"Anyone here that can ship me a GPIO cable over night, shipping? To Canada BC?

Also if anyone has bitfury spacers, and stands, and can ship 100 or so off em.
Basically these http://www.dx.com/p/brass-threaded-stand-off-hex-screw-pillars-w-nuts-m3-x-30mm-6-30-pcs-148712#.U4ZENvldVT4.

Also looking for some raspberry pis. Like 2 or so.

I also need some Bitfury controllers that is pointed downwards and not upwards."

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=681367.msg7727928#msg7727928

You can get the Raspberry pi/s from Newegg or Newark.   As for the GPIO cable just make one out of a 40 pin IDE cable!  I know it is not the most

graceful approach but in a pinch it works.  Just tone out the 5V feed first to keep from smoking your Pi!  You can half the number of brass risers you

need by lying the boards down on their side with the power connectors pointed up.  If you do this and use 120MM fans you only need 2 per board.

As for the controllers you can redo the ends of the 10 pin cable to act as a sort of "crossover" cable and make you downward facing board connectors

work with the upward facing controllers.  Can't find a stock picture of this so I will try to take one tonight.  You basically cut the end of the 10 pin

cable off, slice it every 2 conducters, twist them 180 degrees and recrimp. Wink

This is really interesting.  Maybe it will host Bitfury boards.  Thanks! Grin

Is the issue with Eligius and LRP fixed yet.  Just tried with my ants and it would appear it is not. This sums it up:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=544732.msg6713115#msg6713115  post #902

I believe the issue OF LRP is being addressed and is entering alpha testing.

Hopefully sooner rather than later.  I would LOVE to get my ants back leasable again!

We are entering BETA this weekend!

How about that new lease proxy then? Looks like v0.06a is still the newest one.  Does it work with Eligius yet?
