I got ripped of by Ripple dump.   Shocked

Just one doubt. What is the amount of ripple AMEX have to buy/hold to used the ripple platform for transactions?

Actually none, they will use the technology, not XRP.

404  Other / Off-topic / Re: Can I make my living on mining? on: November 16, 2017, 11:48:41 AM
Depends hugely on the cost of electricity and crypto markets trends.
405  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should Bitcoin even have a future? on: November 15, 2017, 12:17:03 AM
Bitcoin has a present but I assume it will be more and more a thing of the past as time goes on. I expect an irreversible decline of bitcoin as part of the crypto-market share starting in 2018

I am happy to announce that our beloved ONIONs have been listed on coingecko today.

One further step towards global adoption  Cheesy
407  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency? on: November 13, 2017, 08:39:21 PM
Currencies come and go, crypto-currencies are similar in that regard, they cannot be eterneral although i suspect bitcoin to retain value over a super long period even though it would be replaced, like antique coins worth fiat today  Cheesy
408  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's the best alts to trade? on: November 13, 2017, 03:43:00 PM
Ethereum is pretty stable and probably number 2 after BTC in pair trades.

Now a good alt to invest in ? Well, i invested in NEO and optimistic about it seeing all the innovations coming for it but well... market is hard to predict.

410  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Bitcoin to paypal on: November 12, 2017, 10:19:17 PM
I would be happy to buy btc paying with paypal if the price is low. There are probably more senior people than me around though willing to pay more.

414  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: electronium future? on: November 09, 2017, 10:51:52 AM
I think Electroneum has a good supporter base and its price went to almost minimum, while the technology is not working yet it has an interesting potential. So if you invest in it, it's a bet that the developpers will succeed with what they planned, if they do price will go up, if they don't price will go down.

416  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Generous donation for whoever can solve my wallet problem on: November 06, 2017, 09:39:06 PM
Maybe Recuva could help yes. Maybe you have wallet seeds in paper form too to recover wallets. From what i understand so far you deleted the wrong wallet.

Consider splitting the donation between me and the others if my advice has been helpful, my btc adress : 3K6txJdXEJg26TTW8nS1ZAGdggS437V3HK

Good luck !
417  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Going to sound like moron here but **** it ..... on: November 06, 2017, 07:12:35 PM
Nvidia is a huge corporation which you can trust. Windows 10 on the other hand has a built-in keylogger. But it's the not the corporations you should be afraid of, rather hackers.

Consider buying an hardware wallet if you keep loads of bitcoins, otherwise chill out Cheesy

5- I obtained the private key that has the bitcoin from "Knots" and swapped it in Electrum
6- When I saw the bitcoin in my electrum I thought that this will enable me to send it at anytime using electrum so I deleted the "knots"
7- Now I have:
a) Electrum wallet it is called 2_of_2 but I cannot find the 1_of_1 wallet (if I will need it to send the bitcoin)
b) I have full access to this electrum wallet so I managed to get the private key, address that has the coin and the transaction details. However, I cannot send the coin anywhere since it is watch only wallet
c) Also have full access to the knots wallet

If you still have the private key from the Knots Wallet, you can restore it. If i understood correctly, that should give you acess back to your bitcoins.

If that helps, let me know, I am always interested in generous donations  Grin
